We have a reservation for a studio at Vero Beach later this month. I was wondering whether I should make any requests as far as room location or view? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as we have only stayed in the Inn. Thanks.

I'd ask for an upper floor - otherwise you'll be looking at just vegitation, and it makes the studio kind-of dark.
If you want to be absolutely certain of an ocean view, an ocean-view inn room is still your best bet.
If you get a room in the main Inn you have to be on the 3rd or 4th floor to have a view of the ocean. I also have ben told that the Inn Rooms are slightly larger than the studios in the other buildings. I could only reserve a garden view inn room and it wound up being on the front left corner of the inn and it had about a 90 degree view of the ocean even though technically it was a garden view. I have only stayed in the main inn building but from walking around I would suspect you would need the 3rd or 4th floor to get a true ocean view in any of the studios as well . The good news is that it is a beautiful resort and if you can't see the ocean directly from your room go to the Green Cabin Room Lounge for drinks on the outside porch. You'll have a great view from there!
