BCV View Request?

What kind of view have you guys been requesting with your BCV Reservations?

I just got off the phone with MS - gonna try it out over the Veterans' Day holiday.

I asked her about the EPCOT view, and she confirmed what we all here have been saying -- the number of rooms with that view are VERY limited.

But, she reminded me that it's early (7 months out, today (?)), and I could go ahead and try for it.

But I'm afraid I'll be looking at trees and the back road if I don't get lucky - would I have been better off asking for the pool view?

Just curious what you all have been asking for...

After looking at the new YC/BC/BCV map, we requested "pool view, near bus stop." It looks as though some of the rooms would be quite a hike to the bus, so we are hoping to get into the first or second section overlooking pool.

I called and switched my reservation from BWV to BCV yesterday. Requested 2 bedroom lock off, upper floor, Illuminations view. MS said only about 20% of the rooms have an Epcot view & while it wouldn't be guaranteed, it doesn't hurt to ask. I'd rather have the upper floor than the view, but who knows. Maybe if we get the Epcot/Illuminations view, I'll try for a Boardwalk view on our next trip. :D
