We are wanting to hire a car for our DLRP trip at end Sept. There will be 4 adults, one toddler (in booster seat) and one baby so we need a 7 seater but ideally one with enough luggage space to fit our bags. We will probably have 3 suitcases with taking the little ones and a hold bag/holdall thing as well.
Anyone got a 7 seater at home now? Or driven/hired one? What would be the best to hire do you think? I notice a lot of them have the two 'spare' seats in the boot so it takes up a lot of the boot space....

We have a Vauxhall Zafira (Opel Zafira in france). The back 2 seats fold down into the floor independently so you could have just one of the back seats up and have room for luggage next to it.
I hired a Zafira from Hertz when we went in april and it was lovely.

If they are fairly big suitcases then a Renault Espace might be more suitable for your needs & more comfortable in my opinion. All the seats are independent in the Espace & they can be adjusted bith the backs of them & they can be moved forwards & backwards like the front seats of a car can.
My mum is on her 2nd one.

Thanks for the replies :) I was thinking of both of those cars actually. I see that Hertz don't stipulate a particular model - just one in that 'category' IYSWIM. At least I know both would be suitable now - thanks :)
