Using DDP while at the Fort?

Can you still be on the DDP if you are camping at the Fort? I'm thinking of changing our ressie and renting a pop-up but we'll be flying in so I don't want to cook/bring much food except breakfast items and some drinks. Can you still use it the same way as if you are staying at a resort?

Yes, you can purchase the DDP the same as the other resorts, but just remember...when Disney offers free dining it is only for the cabins not campsites.:headache:

We have never been able to justify the expense and just eating that much food on a daily basis takes too much time from the parks. For us, one of the biggest benefits of camping(we have a 5th wheel) is saving money on food-even if it is a bowl of cereal, a hot dog on the grill or sandwiches!:thumbsup2 Quick and easy for us is better and the money we save we use on a few character meals and LOTS of souvenir's!

Oh yeah, I guess the savings will now go into our gas tank!:scared:

If I were flying in and renting a camper, then I might do things differently. I think you can order groceries from somewhere and they will deliver them to the Fort. You can find more info on here about that, just do a search.
