TOT Oct. 09'

Ok, I just made my room reservations for the Tower of Terror race for Oct. 2009. I check into the CBS Oct.23rd-Nov.01. Who else is going?

I know it's alittle early but I like to plan ahead.;)

I will be there with my DH, DD13 and DS7. Only me running though. We are at CBR from 10/24 to 10/28. DSil, DBil, DNiece9 and DNephew7 will be at BWV from 10/25 to 11/1 with DSil and DBil running too!!

Only 3 months, 2 weeks and 1 day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oct 19 - 26th. We decided not to do ToT just going for the party and to hang out with friends!!!!

DH and I will probably do it. I think we're gonna try to do a different Disney race each year.

Robert--- I am there the exact same times as you. I couldn't get BWV for the full week so start off at OKW and come over to BWV on Friday. We are doing Party for the Senses on 10/18. I am undecided about doing ToT. I don't think it will be a sell out so have plenty of time to decide. Norm won't be doing it because the time limit never officially changed, so he will be hanging out at BWV. Is there going to be a mini golf event this year?

Kim-- I must meet you this trip.

Scott and Lynn-- It will be great seeing you again.

Ok, I didn't realize the orginal poster had it for 2009 not 2008. With the lukewarm response they seem to be getting for the race this year wonder if they will have it in 2009.

Yes, golf is on the agenda.

ToT didn't have any %'s posted until 7/25 last year. The 6.5K closed on 8/16 and 9/11 for 13K. I believe it will fill but will take until October. Most people did it as a "been there done that" race as the inaugural. We you charge $85 for a long 10K:eek:

I think we will make a big dent in it:) We will do our own 8 miler. We will start a little earlier but by 2:00 am we will have 8 miles in :thumbsup2

Thanks for the invite to do World Showcase Drink Around if I don't do the ToT. Maybe if I end up doing the race, I could send Norm with all of you to World Showcase. It might be hard to get him out of Germany as he loves their Reisling.

Have to see if this race fills(and when). If the numbers aren't great, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney doesn't change things up or cancels the race replacing it with something else. Minnie is great example.
