Are the after parties worth it?

Has anyone ever done one of the after race parties at Disney? I think they had one at the TOT race last year? I'm doing EEC this year and the race starts at 7 with the party going until 12. I can't imagine wanting to stay there until 12 unless it was really fun. MK has Wishes at 10 and Spectro at 11 that same night - I'm wondering if I should attempt to get over there after the race or if I should just stay and enjoy the party? What goes on at the part except the few rides being open?

I did the TOT race last year. After I finished, I rode TOT 3 times, RR one time and Star Tours. That was the extent of the party for me. What really annoyed me was the way overpriced, even for Disney, refreshments. Don't call it a party and then charge the guests seven dollars for a beer. If the Expedition Everest party is anything like TOT, just skip it.

Thank you! I can't believe they were charging that much for beer! Silly me, I thought the beer was free since we are paying SO much for the race! The only rides I'll want to try are Everest (finally!) and Kali River Rapids - other than that only Dinoland is open and I'm not interested in that.
