We're going for 2 weeks, so we'll have the golf cart for a long time. Price to rent from WDW vs. outside is about the same, so we'll probably just do the Disney one. How much are you allowed to personalize and decorate the cart? Obviously no stickers, but are you allowed to hang anything, wrap anything around it (I'm speaking generally).

Around DDs birthday, I want to decorate it with balloons, streamers, that sort of thing.

Thanks in advance,

Decorate as much as you want! We hang streamers, wrap garland, hang wreaths, and add lights. We got one of those Black and Decker battery things and plug in the lights. It sure makes it easier to spot our cart among many!

Anything goes just return the cart in the same condition as you rented it. No extra holes in it. every thing you added must be off with no visable marks on the cart

I have even seen stickers on them. Ears on the roof, all kinds of lights' flags' costumes for halloween. christmas trees and raindeer with a sleigh on the roof top. I would not do stickers unless they were the repositionable ones. Staples has the paper to print your own.

SOme of the people that won prizes in the parade were on rented carts. I know the beach people were.

Can't wait until Christmas when we can decorate our golf cart when we are down there. :cool1:

I have seen several rented carts all decked out. One of the things I enjoy at the fort, as simple as it is, is looking at all the carts and what people do with them.

I agree...Decorate as much as you want. As long as you don't obstruct your driver's view and your headlights are visable at night, you should be fine. We decorate ours in October with Halloween garland, clingies, and spider webs. This past year we added the cursed pirate...
