Car Hire?

I've done a search for car hire recommendations and it came back with nothing :confused: (Don't seem to be able to get the hang of the search engine on here!). Can anyone recommend someone to use please? We plan to fly to CDG and then drive from there to the Marriott Vacation Club were we intend to stay.

Hi I used Hertz back in april and apart from a long wait to get a manual car had no problems. There were 5 or 6 car hire companies next to each other outside Terminal 2. Avis was another, can't remember the rest.

I had a little detour around CDG airport on the way back because i headed for the long stay car parks instead of the terminals, but got there after asking a workman for help!! and didn't miss the flight!

Thanks - I've looked at hertz but was hoping a few people would have recommendations - maybe a smaller company would be a bit cheaper?? I've always used smaller hire companies (normally on a recommendation) when abroad in other countries and found the service second to none. I guess a lot of people don't bother with car hire if staying on site.... :confused3

Reid (Cyrano) hired a car once but he's just gone on holiday (wonder where ;) ) and won't be back until around the end of the month. If you can hang onto then, I'm sure he'll be able to help you. :)

Thanks Elaine - we are in no rush to book it so no prob waiting :) We've just booked our accom and flights tonight - whooopeee!

Going 28 Sept - 02 October - 4 nights/5 days for our first ever trip and can't wait! :cool1:
