Several recent posters have requested help in locating a Christopher Radko ornament of the Disney Magic/Wonder. I collect Radko ornaments (especially Disney) and noticed one of the ships was up for bid on Ebay this week. Here is the link:

I don't know anything about the seller or the item other than what is posted. It is a pretty high bid right now - but I know that several folks were asking future cruisers to help them and thought this might be of interest.

Pretty cool. I don't think I'm going to beat the current bid of $66 though.

The Disney Cruise Line stuff on Ebay is often overpriced, particularly when it's something you can buy on the ship. There is even someone selling Navigators from Feb. for $10!!! And the sad thing is, people buy them...I guess they don't know about Dave & I and the wonderful folks here at DIS who provide up to date info. for free. Oh well, I shouldn't complain...I've been selling my spare Castaway Club gift bags for $28 a pop (in 20 cruises, we have quite a few), and I'm in shock as to how much I'm getting for the Artists Choice pins. I'll have to list our extra "Making of a Dream" books one of these days, as I seem to recall one of those going pretty high. I've even see people selling the WDW and DCL videos that you can get FOR FREE!!!

I think I would go the route of asking someone cruising soon to get it. We purchased the Radko ornament, had Captain Hans sign it, and got the stand for way under that Ebay price. That's a little crazy!:)

We also bought the same ornament when we sailed January 13th. Captain hans signed my ornament and I have a picture of him signing it. It is my favorite souvenir. We also purchased the stand.

I collect all types of glass ornaments and want to know if the Radko ship is always available. This will definitely be something I would buy the first night.

Ginny, thanks so much. I was glad to see what this ornament looked like. It will be on my list for a souvenir purchases. Krista, I think a few weeks ago when this question came up , those that responded said it was always available. Erin

OK, if it's always available, this is my must-have item when we cruise in Sept. Anyone remember how much it was? TIA! :D

OK, the stand was on sale for $2.99, the ornament was $32.00. No tax on the ship, bought it in Treasure Ketch.

Hope this helps, they also have several captain signings.:)

Erin C and Krista -

I'm glad this was helpful!! I think this ornament is just lovely in person. The colors and glitter really catch and play with the light. I have had many compliments on it. What is fun is that I can leave it out all the time on the stand and it brings back fond memories.

Enjoy your cruise and your ornament.....Just don't pack them in an overstuffed suitcase you have to sit on to close!! :D I met a lady on our last cruise that did just that - she said that was her excuse for cruising again..............so she could replace her Radko Ornaments!! She had a great sense of humor and was laughing at her own packing whoops!!

I keep my ornament on the stand near my computer. That way I can enjoy it year round, not just at Christmas.
