BAck to the drawing board..spring 09????

We have had to put off our trip planned for this fall..I don't think I can wait a whole year..so throwing around the idea of going in the spring..that is the soonest.

I have no clue about crowds/attendance/etc for the spring months!
How is it in April?? Any times that should be avoided???

we go every spring. March is better than April and the earlier in March you go the better. The school breaks are scattered but most begin mid-march and onwards. AVOID EASTER unless you love the crowds - we went this year and the park is open from 8am - midnight and it is PACKED every hour! We stayed until 11pm and there was still 1.5 hour waits for Perter Pan and rides like that!

I went last April (3rd week) thinking it would be quiet since Easter was in March. :sad2: It was REALLy busy. Apparently, all of North-Eastern US had their Spring break that week. Disney even extended their Dining hours. Who knew?!

If at all possible, try to find out when a lot of US states are having their breaks. I know they're all scattered too, but that particular week in April had many States on break.

April would definitely NOT be my choice. We usually go during the 2nd week of March. Lower crowds and the weather has been great. Any later than that and I'd wait for the fall. October would be my first choice.

I love WDW in April. The Flower Thingy at Epcot is beautiful!

The weather is AWESOME!

Sure there are crowds, but your a DISer and that gives you super powers to plan around the crowds!

May is ok except it is love bug month, more toward the end.
