but I figured it couldn't hurt to do it one more time.
My name is Jo, I am originally from Quincy, MA and I just stumbled onto this site one day, don't quite remember how but I love it. I am more of a lurker but I have been trying to post more often. I fell in love with Disney five years ago immediately following my falling in love with my then boyfriend who is now my husband. We have been to Disney/Orlando every year we have been together except for our first year and we absolutely LOVE Disney. We were engaged there, we honeymooned there and we plan on continuing to visit Disney as much as we can until, well until we no longer can. I love reading and replying to post and I am looking forward to getting to know the lovely folks on this board.:wizard:

First big trip, that's so exciting! I hope you have a wonderful time!
Our trips get progressively longer. This trip we are taking in September started out as a 7 night, friday to friday trip. It has now evolved into a 10 night thursday to sunday trip. It's a sickness!:rotfl:

WOW 10 days at Disney, that would be heaven. We were just suppose to drive up for the day to see some out of town friends who are staying there, but I got my husband to turn it into an early anniversary celebration. As much as I love being close enough to Disney that we can go for the day whenever, I want a real Disney Vacation with all the works. :tigger:

Congrats on your upcoming 1 year, that's awesome. I'm sure you had to twist your husband's arm to make it a longer trip :thumbsup2 Are you guys staying on site?
We are technically celebrating the 4 year anniversary of our engagement but we only realized it after we had booked that it would fall on that. It's not actually something we celebrate but we thought it was cool that we would be back at the place where we got engaged :)

That's cool, that's where we stayed on our honeymoon last year, we absolutely fell in love with it. I know it gets mixed reviews [to each his own right?:) ] but we loved it so much we're going back again this september. They have a nice little bar and they had live music at night when we were there [this was late April] The grounds are beautiful, I highly recomend the horse and carriage ride if you're looking for something especial to do at the resort.

I can't wait. I really want to do the carriage ride. I keep mentioning it to my husband, but I don't think he has gotten the hint yet.
