Hello all,

I've been to Disney quite a few times but not in the past eight years or so. I'm taking my 6-year-old daughter for her first Disney trip this November. I stumbled upon this site while looking for some info and what a gold mine this place is! I just wanted to thank you all for sharing your time and knowledge on all things Disney. You people are amazing and impress the heck out of me with your generosity.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the coming weeks but I just wanted to say thanks to the community for the wealth of knowledge I've already gleaned from reading the boards. :worship:

When I took my son for his first visit to WDW he was 10 years and it had been twenty years since I had been there! They had opened up EPCOT, MGM (now Disney Hollywood) and AK, not to mention all of the resorts! When I had last been there only the CR, Poly and Ft. Wilderness were open. This board is a gold mine of information and friendly people. Have fun

HI and welcome!!

This is my first trip in 19 years, and I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it!

PRobably the biggest change, in terms of planning, is ADRs-- Advance Dining Reservations. If you're planning any table service dinners, you need to make those reservations as soon as possible. As of now, that time frame is 180 days, (though I understand it's changing to 90 in the near future) so that's probably something you want to take care of ASAP if you haven't already done so.
