Just finished some of our shirts for our trip in two weeks and wanted to see what some of you thought. This is our first time ever attempting to make shirts ourselves and i'm pretty happy with the results. To all the designers, thank you so much for your great designs. I made the mistake of never writing down who i got what from so if you see one of yours just point it out so everyone knows where to get your great designs from.

Thank you! We just may bump into each other. Besides the matching shirts, I also made a bunch of LGMH's on label paper so we'll be sticking those to our park bags and stuff too. Have a great trip!

Thank you! I wish I could tell you who designed it for me but as i posted before, this was my first time ever doing this so i never thought to write down the designers names. I only remember the last few i got and I believe the cowboys one was the very first i got. Hope you find it though.

They all look great! Thank you so much for sharing the pictures and have a wonderful time!
Thank you and I still have a couple more including one of yours, I just need to get the right color shirt. I'll be posting the pictures as soon as I make it.

Thank you! I'm actually a guy but no worries I'll relay the message to the wife since she did most of the ironing. I just finished each one off with a little muscle;). She doesn't do the boards because I'm more of the planner and she just goes along with everything but after how happy she was with the shirts, it won't be long before she sets up her own name on here.:lmao:

Thank you! I'm sure yours will be great. This was our first time trying, I thought it would be a disaster. OK heres a rundown, pink shirt and white ringers with blue collar were avery white transfers. The 4 mickey heads with classic mickey and the ringer with black collar were avery stretchable transfers. All the rest were avery dark transfers.

Thank you! Shes happy everyone likes them considering it took just about a whole day of ironing. As for the shirts, it was actually all over the place. Mostly Wal-mart, a few from target and old navy. My wife got a few of her shirts from mandees as well since they were a bit more stylish and not just tanks and tees.

Oh sorry. Yeah, just used dark transfers. Just a note though, it wont come out too close to the shade of a black shirt but still looks very nice. If you figure out how to make them glow in the dark please post so i can try it next time!

great job and how wonderful that it was a team effort! Thanks so much for sharing!

You'll be the hit of the park! Have a great time.

(PS: My favorite is the castle on the dark tee!)

PSS: btw, they do have a glow "paint" at Michael's; perhaps folks could outline the Mickey Head with glow paint and see if it works! (I used the glow paint on a posterboard for a pre-dawn greeting to my Marine GS. I guess I didn't have enough to have an effect all the way across the parade deck! :rotfl2: )

The design was done by natalie. You can find a link to her 4shared back in post #10. She has so many great designs. For the shirts i made with that design, i used stretchable transfers, they gave it asort of faded vintage look

O.K. now that I am looking closely I think I can see the transfer square. I figured out why I was so confused... I had saved Kari's castle's with the white backgrounds. I found them with the black. Thanks Kari!! And it makes a lot more sense to me now.

Thanks for the kind words! The cinderella "L" was another one done by Natalie :thumbsup2. And since my wife wanted it to come out very nice I went ahead and printed on dark transfer, and yes, cut completely around it. It took about an hour with an X-acto knife, but anything to make my dear wife happy!

Thank you, and yes the exacto knife works wonders and is pretty cheap. I decided not to do the vinegar wash because all we're worried about is how it looks when we wear them to the parks. Did not want them to look faded. I did buy scotchguard to protect them in case it rains but thats about it. Hopefully it all works out.

k, i'm jealous! i would LOVE for my man to be really excited (he's a little excited) but good grief, to have him be the one searching boards and disigns? pinch me! my ears off to ya! truly a blessed family!!

the football disign may be from momof2ohio as i've thought about requesting 2. the MH with designer print is in one of the main sticky threads with all the disigners links, you just have to go thru them. i'm positive the pressed penny is from natalie. i saw the mgm mickey in one too.

take the time to go thru the sticky that has all the disigners posted, you'd be surprised at how much fabulous stuff is there. that's my problem is trying to figure out which to do without having to buy a whole wardrobe, of the 9 days i'm only do shirts for 4 (it started out as one and then 2 and then, well, you know how that goes) days

i haven't seen the disign of cinderella, if the shoe fits, etc so if i missed it and ya see it, pls advise. please post pics of disigns in action, mahalo!
