I have had difficulty logging in-My password never seems to be valid. Thanks to everyone for helping us to prepare for June 22 Magic.
DH has possibly found cheap air for the 5 of us, but the catch is we would have to arrive Thurs before cruise and leave Monday after(such misery?)-but this would require 4 nights of rooms and transportation from MCO to cocoa beach area. Does anyone have suggestions as to the cheapest way to do this? If rooms/transportation are too much, we will have to drive 13+ hours. Please save me
Thanks to all

How about joining the Disney Club? The DC entitles you to complimentary membership in National Car Rental's "Emerald Club".
The DC membership is $39.95/year ($29.95/year if your employer is an official chapter of the DC). Annual membership in the "Emerald Club" is $50, so the DC pays for itself right there!
Plus, the DC offers discounts on rooms at WDW. Perhaps you could spend your 4 nights at WDW. The port is only an hour away.
I recently joined the DC, and signed up for complimentary membership in the "Emerald Club". I was able to reserve a compact car for 10 days for $240.
Details of the DC benefits can be found at http://www.disneyclub.com. They are also offering a $50 on-board credit for the DCL.
P.S. Have you considered that the money you spend on a rental car and 4-night accommodations, might outweigh your airfare savings?

Check out mousesavers.com. They have info about Disney and nonDisney hotel specials and can provide you with codes for discount car rentals. I took mousesavers advice and booked the Holiday Inn Family Suites just outside of WDW last Sept and loved it. We've booked it again for 5 nights prior to our May 11 cruise. I think there is a special price on mousesavers for that-plus you get free american breakfast each morning and the kids eat dinner free too. I also used a code for Avis and saved a lot too.

I booked my hotel through expedia.com. Got the Comfort Suites Maingate East for $39 a night. I also booked a rent-a-car through Hertz for $18 per day through priceline.com. Shop around--it pays!!!

Try www.hotwire.com for rooms at great prices. We got Cocoa Beach Hilton for about $42 a night.
