Hi everyone :goodvibes
We have checked into our room and received a magical upgrade to a bear faced room :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:
We were able to watch the water parade from our room :cool1: and tried to watch WISHES! from the "window" but it apparently was cancelled this evening to due to strong lightening storms :scared1: Oh well we'll try it again another night ;)
Oh and we had a fun time at the WCC. Lots of antics and great food!
Tomorrow morning we will be at the MK and then an Illumination Cruise :cool1:
If you have any questions please let me know :goodvibes

OK, now I'm jealous I hope the rest of your trip is just as Magical. Sounds like Humphrey is doing his job.
Can't wait to read more.

Sounds great.
Does the resort seem very busy? What about the parks? I just read on another thread a minute ago about a Dis-er at the CR who got upgraded to CL and also found DHS not too crazy on the 4th. I'm surprised!
Have a great trip!

Beckie - Now that you mention Humphrey....I made sure we all rubbed his nose before we checked in to our room and wow it's amazing :cool1:

An error was made on our original room and the CM that was helping us said there as plenty of availability :thumbsup2 Both pools this afternoon were busier than normal though :confused3 We followed our TGM itinerary for just our faves and waited in no lines at all :cool1:

Oh I remember how long the wait felt but it is worth it :goodvibes We waited less than 5 minutes and we checked in about 15mins early. They were slammed busy though as even the little room on the end was in use.
Enjoy the trip. I bet you're already having a hard time keeping track of details and could care less about posting them for everyone to read! :) Just kidding. :)
I got through the last month living through the other "live" reports so I figured I'd so the same or try at least :goodvibes

I will try to post pics later on during the trip when we slow down a bit :thumbsup2

We just got back and it was the most amazing experience ever :goodvibes I can highly recommend it :goodvibes We were invited by a fellow TGMer to share a cruise and I really can't write how awesome it was :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc I'm now going to be so spoiled to see it any other way. Totally unblocked view of Illuminations, cushy boat seats, snacks, drinks, and an awesome cake topped off a fun night :cool1:

Today was breakfast at Roaring Forks and then off to the MK :goodvibes
Other than a couple issues with our APs to start off the morning it went great! We followed our TGM itinerary and walked on all the rides with no wait :cool1: :cool1: We basically just saw our faves :thumbsup2
Lunch was at the LTT. I'll do a dining review when we get back but stays on our must do list :cool1:
The afternoon was spent at the pool. Much busier than usual but I"ve heard that it should get quieter as the week goes on :wizard:
Then off to the Yacht Club for the Illumination Cruise. I really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed that experience. It is one we'll never forget :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc
Tomorrow we are going to Epcot and have LeCellier planned for lunch :thumbsup2

Yesterday:
We spent the day at Epcot. Unfortunately we missed rope drop as we had to replace our park tickets. If you ever have to replace them at Epcot and see "Leonard" all I can stay is stear clear ;)
We rode Soaring 2x, Nemo, Turtle Talk, Living Seas, Figment, and I rode TT as a single rider while running for FP. Then it was time for lunch at LeCellier. All I'll say now is yummm!!!!!!! But check out the menu as it has changed from our last trip ;) Then we spent some time in the WS trying to walk off that wonderful lunch. On the way out we tried to use our TT FPs but when we got up to preview rooms the ride was shut down due to incliment weather :headache: By then it was pouring so we headed back to the resort. When we got back to the WL the rain had stopped so off to the pool :woohoo: We ended the night with dinner at an almost empty Grand Floridian Cafe and Wishes from the drivers cab of the monorail :wizard:
Today:
I'm running out of time but real quick we were at DHS for rope drop and rode the new Toy Story Mania ride 5 times with very little wait due to utilizing FPs and single rider line :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: The Brown Derby was awesome (first time for us), we watched the water parade from our beds, and watched Wishes from the "window". Life is good :goodvibes
Tomorrow:
KTTK Tour    , Kona Cafe, MK evening to watch Wishes :cool1:

Really don't worry. I always forget a couple things and there is basically nothing that can't be found right here at the lodge (one exception - medication - I'd pack what you need for that now;) )

It is sooooo hard to believe that our week is almost up  It went so fast and we had so many amazing experienes :lovestruc
I will try to post more later (strong thunderstorm warning go through the MK now) but the KTTK tour was so much fun, I can highly recommend it for any WDW lover. I wil say that there was one 16 year old on the trip that was ready for it to be over about 1/2 way thru so I'd probably only recommend it to adult visitors ;)
Yesterday:
Finally slept in and went to Boma's for a late brunch then to DTD where I tried to according to DS buy out the WOD store :rotfl: DS and I then took the sea racers for a spin and then went to AK from 6-7:30 where we had no wait for anything. The animals were out and highly active  Then back to the WL for quick pizza dinner, pool time, and Wishes from the "window"
Today: Last full day :sad1:
Epcot morning, Coral Reef lunch :lovestruc , and now in the room due to severe thunderstorms  :wizard: that it clears up for one last evening of fun :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:
Tomorrow:
Check out :sad2: :sad1: :sad2: :sad1:, Kona Cafe breakfast, and then we fly home :sad1: :sad2: :sad1:
We may try to take advantage of the bouceback offer as I really need a trip to plan to ease the end of vacation blues that always set in at the end of a trip :goodvibes
Let me know if I can answer any last minute questions. Otherwise I'll try to go back and post more details and pics when I get home :goodvibes

Minnie I am feeling your pain. It is so hard to say goodbye to the lodge and the mouse. I hope you and ds had a great time and get back again soon. I anxiously await your posting of details and pics. It will probably be another 2 years before we can get back :( so I shall live through you. Here's hoping you have an awesome night!

Our last day and night and morning…..
Due to a later than planned start, and a storm that cut short our day our Epcot time earlier in the trip was shortened so DS and I went back to Epcot for the morning. We again didn’t manage rope drop but did do Soaring, Nemo, Test Track, Mission Space, and Living Seas before stopping for lunch at the Coral Reef where mom joined us. Great meal as always! I am affiliated with a sponsor company so we were able to visit two of the VIP lounges in a couple of the rides and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. By this time it was getting late so we went back to the resort intending to spend our last afternoon at the pool…. Well best laid plans and all that….. a severe thunderstorm hit the MK area so we spent the next several hours at the resort waiting out the storm. Where I highly regret not taking the time to take pics of the lodge and worked instead…. What was I thinking……
Finally, we got lucky and the storm passed so we headed out to Epcot (valet parked at the Beach Club) to get a nice view of Illuminations (the cruise though spoils you for waiting it out…..). The storm cleared out the park and cancelled any parties so the terraces were empty. We had a great seat and view at the upper terrace close to France. I grabbed a Grey Goose slushy (new favorite drink) and pastries for later and settled to enjoy the view. Well until the first bang of the fireworks when a child of about 7 started screaming. She tried to get to her father but the mother pulled her back with her and ignored her screams through the entire presentation. What a witch!!!!!!! There was no reason to ignore the child and allow that to ruin the experience for everyone else  As soon as the last bang sounded we were off and out of the park through the IG. Then to Beaches ‘n Crème for dinner. Yum!!!!!!!!!
By this time it was very late and we were exhausted from a long day so it was bedtime. We were planning to try out the resort bag check so we had to have the bags out there 3 hours prior to our flight. As I write this from the plane ride home I am sooooo hoping the bags are flying with us (pixie dust).
An early wake up call brought us to our last few hours at the lodge. The resort bag check went smoothly and breakfast was our newest discovered favorite find! All too soon it was time to take the last pics of the lodge and then off to the airport.
I can only hope that we will return some day soon!!!!!!:wizard:
We have arrived safely back home :goodvibes I will try to add some pics and further comments about our experiences once I'm unpacked and get all that laundry done :laundy:
