Modifying ressie and getting requests

Since room requests are fulfilled on a first come first served according to when you make the ressie, If I modify my ressie to include pool/lake view at the WLV do I lose thid advantage. Will the date then be changed to the later time that I modified?

As I understand it, the date will still reflect the original date that you made the reservation. if tyou were to completely cancel and make a new reservation, that's different - but a modification of the reservation doesn't have any impact.

This was confirmed by MS last year for us, we needed to modify our reservation and I asked about our request - MS said that since we'd made the reservation so early, we probably would get what we asked for (no promises though), and we did.

That's my understanding as well. Just remember that the more requests you give them and the more restrictive those requests, the less likely you are to get truly what you want.
