I haven't seen this posted lately, but since so many people focus on the photopass, I think the movie and book get overlooked. We ordered a photo movie, which arranges all of our uploaded photos onto a slideshow, along with special Disney additions from each park and our hotel. It is a nice keepsake, especially since our video camera broke on the trip. After our most recent trip, we ordered a photo book. I am a scrapbooker and found this to be a high quality book with beautiful pages! It is by far the best souvenir from any of our trips! Be sure to check them out on the photopass website!

Can we upload our own pictures to the photopass site to create photobooks or is it only for those who have the photopass?

You can use your own photos and/or photopass photos. The book charges more (about $20.00) if you use your photopass photos. Another poster noted that if you buy your disk and use those, you would not be subjected to the additional charges. Check them out on the website...they are great to have!

Here is a link to disneyphotopass.com that shows more information. If you click on the product you are interested in, you can see some examples. For instance, click on the photo book, then choose learn more to see a short video.

I've ordered two Disney photobooks. It's not a bad deal if you are planning on ordering multiple photopass prints. And you can upload up to 70-80 of your own photos , but I think you have to have at least one photopass picture taken to just get into the program. The photopass pictures come out great in the Photobooks, so I would suggest using at least some of those in your photobook.

Another thumbs up for the Photobook...I created and ordered one after our trip and I love it!
I was totally made up with it when it arrived and it didn't take that long to arrive after ordering either. Everyone I've shown it to has commented how lovely it is and such a nice thing to keep.
I used our photopass pictures and also up-loaded some of our own to it aswell. As long as your own pictures are good quality and not too dark, then they'll come out fine. I'll try take some pictures if I get chance and post them up on here of how it turned out.
I will most definately be getting one again for the whole family on our return trip in 2010! :)

I haven't done this with the photopass site yet, but I'm glad to hear everyone is happy with their product. I have done photo books on Kodak's site and have been happy with them. Next trip I will definitely see about Disney's version too.
