Deluxe DDP and Honeymoon

We'll be going on our honeymoon in October and one of the things we considered doing to differentiate this trip from our other two trips this year :lmao: was adding the deluxe ddp. My question is....at this point I don't know if the places we would like to eat will have openings. Can I call and make ADR's and if I get the ones I want then add the DDP? Or do I need confirmation of my DDP to make the ADR? I'm pretty sure I can, but I wanted to ask the experts. We're DVC members staying on points FYI.

You don't need anything to make reservations.

Yeah you can make your ADRs without a room reservation, just input your home phone number when asked.

That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure! It's a lot of food, so we're still trying to decide especially since we have the DDE too.

We have used the DxDDP before (this past April). With any of the dining plans, you can make your ADRs and later add on the plans. This won't be a problem.

why the bump? I'm pretty sure the question was answered - call and see what ADRs you can get, if you get enough make DDP worth it, go ahead and add DDP to your reservation
