Newbie here needs help

heloo there everyone. i have been on for just a few days and need some assistance. How do you get the countdown threads on your signature? also any other tips to customize?

:welcome: to the Dis Boards, fellow Las Vegan! Well, I actually live in Henderson but hardly anyone knows where that is. :)

To get a trip ticker, browse around posts until you find one you like. Go to that site, personalize a ticker, and copy/paste the code that is created in your signature area (it's a selection under User CP)

You can also add an avatar (the picture in the box under your user name). You can pick one of the Dis avatars or you can copy a link to a personal photo.

Sorry if I didn't explain these very well; maybe someone else can give better details. There are lots of helpful people here. Have fun! :disrocks:

If you like mine, or see another you like... click on the ticker, then follow the instructions.

Click on "User CP" located in the upper left, for other options, signatures, etc.

All you have to do to get the countdown on your signiture is click on somebody elses Ticker and it should take you directly to that website and make it from there!
