View Full Version : Draft your favorite obnoxiously over-the-top room request (winner will be selected)

You know you've seen some real winner room requests here on the boards - the ones that are so over the top that they are practically painful to read. This is your chance to draft your own with as much imagination and disney detail as you can muster. It has to start with "Dear Room Controller." You can pick whichever resort you want. Here we go, I'll get us started.
Dear Room Controller,
I am so excited, enthralled, over the moon about our upcoming stay in the Boardwalk Inn. Before I arrive to check in, I would like to make a room request.
Firstly, I would like a complimentary upgrade from our current standard-view accommodations to concierge water view if possible, preferably concierge boardwalk-view, water-view, top floor, with two queens (not doubles) and a daybed and a full sized bathtub in the bathroom. We would like our room to be directly in front of the pier if possible but not on top of any restaurants as we do not like to hear any noise whatsoever in our room. Secondly, we would like a full balcony and a view of both the Epcot fireworks and the Beach and Yacht club. Thirdly, we would like to be near the elevators as we are bringing grandma, who has three artificial knees and cannot walk long distances. It would be wonderful if we could be assigned a couple of cast members to carry grandma around when her knees give out. We would like a non smoking room, a complimentary refrigerator for our perishables, nightly turn-down service with the little minty chocolates on our pillows, extra towels, extra pillows, early check-in, late check-out, and your soul please.
Also, this is mine and my husband's thirteen-year, four-month and twenty-two day anniversary, so a free gift basket and an upgrade to a suite would be a wonderful way for us to celebrate our special occasion.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
E.Z. Tewpleze

Dear Room Controller,
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how glad we are that we will soon be staying at Walt Disney World. Our 3 year old has been looking forward to this her entire life. We also have a 7 year old and a 9 year old. Since our Prince and two Princesses love everything Disney, we knew that your hotel was the place to stay.
I know that you must be busy trying to fulfill other people's wishes, and I hate to bother you, but we have a few things we would love to have happen. I want you to know though, that this IS NOT for dh and I, it's for our deserving children. We could only afford one room at your hotel, and we're on a budget, so we fudged on Little Ariel's age. My husband and I would be happy in the room we've been scheduled for, but it would just make her day if you could upgrade us to something with a nice daybed in it -although a suite would be nice too.
Cindy loves animals, and anything to do with them. I read on the internet that Mousekeeping sometimes makes cute little creatures out of things in the room and linens, so I am planning on bringing along her collection of 134 beanie babies, and four Disney characters. Please forward this message to Mousekeeping, and inform them that we would like to have a full three ring circus created in the room on the third day of our trip. We are planning to go to the Animal Kingdom that day, and this would be such a hit! Will you provide the hula hoops for the three rings, or do I need to bring my own?
Last, we have our son, Phillip. Phillip is "all boy", and loves anything to do with sports. Baseball season will be in full swing when we get there, but I don't see any information on whether or not you offer Sports Channels in the rooms. We would like to request ESPN, ESPN2, and the Sports Network. Also, we are planning on sending him to the ESPN club by himself on the day we are at the World Showcase, since everyone knows that boys can't stand all that science and cultural stuff over at Epcot. Can we exchange that day of his ticket for tokens at ESPN?
I understand that you are able to order little gifts from WDW Florists, and that the hotel will have them in the room when we arrive. I wanted to do that for my kids, but I checked out the prices, and they were just outrageous!! So, I headed off to Big Lots, and bought some Disney stuff there really cheap. I'm going to send it in a big box the week before we come. It will be marked "Welcome Gifts for the Smith Prince and Princesses". Please make sure that everything is arranged and laid out in the room when we get there.
My brother's wife's mother has a cousin who belongs to DVC. Please note this on our reservation form so that we get our free valet parking. Also, I understand that if you sit through the DVC presentation, you can get a certificate for a free lunch. We don't plan on buying (only rich folks with money to burn can buy in), but please sign us up for this on each day of our stay. We must be done by 12:30 each day though, because I've already made all of our PS for 1:00.
As far as the room goes, we won't be too picky, since you are going to give us that complimentary upgrade we discussed. Anything with an unobstructed Castle and Fireworks view, non-smoking and on the top floor is fine. Oh, and we need a balcony, so that Frank and I can smoke on it. We'd never stay in a smoking room, since they smell like smoke, but we've gotta get in our 3 packs a day - you know how it is!
You may want to make a note of the fact that all 5 of us will be having our birthdays while we are there (the first 5 days), and that my husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary on the last day at the park. We understand that you traditionally supply balloons and treats on birthdays and a bottle of champagne for anniversaries. We prefer Mumms, 1972.
Have a Disney Day!

Dear Room Controller,
Hello, we are so excited about our upcoming Disney stay over Christmas. We were hoping to get a really nice room, I mean really nice wink wink. So we booked at the All Star Movies. The kids are so excited, they can't wait to get in that pool. But I was wondering if you could help me with a little surprise, imagine those faces on Christmas morning when they wake up in the room and find themselves face to face with Buzz and Woody!! Wouldn't that be a hoot, we would video the whole thing and send you a copy. I was also wondering if you could help with a little upgrade on the room, no additional charge if possible but if necessary we could kick in a couple extra bucks, not to exceed 50 extra. What we were really hoping for was a suite, do they have those at ASmo? If not we would move, I heard that white hotel was okay, a suite in there would be really really nice, wink wink. Aren't there some people trained to help out with reservations and such, con-something, could we get one of those too? Oh and a nice view, really nice if it isn't too much trouble. I was thinking too about the crowds, my kids want to see everything, I mean everything, so do you have any of the FOTL passes? And a rickshaw so we don't have to do so much walking. And Christmas dinner in the castle with some characters, and a back stage tour, and some photos with Mickey, character breakfast coupons, we want to be in the parade too, it looks like so much fun, i was thinking about front of the monorail also, some preferred seating for fireworks and parades, and a trading pin and character meeting VIP type thing so we get those pins we want and don't have to wait in line with all those bratty kids to get those autographs.
I know you are busy, but I also know it is your job to make the guests happy, and well *this* would make us happy.
Looking forward to your reply

Too funny! :)
Danacara, are you going to be one of those horrible posters who will whine on these boards if you do not get everything that is on your wish list? ;)
Also, I cannot believe that you did not request an upgrade to the Presidential Suite, that Mickey himself should greet you upon arrival, that you and your family desire Early Entry (just you alone, no one else in the parks), etc. What about all of your special food/beverage requests for concierge? Don't forget that you will need at least 100 bottles of water. Did you ask for pool hopping privileges to all of the other resorts? I am really concerned that you left out so many important requests! ;)
Thanks for the humor!;)

Dear Room Controllor, I know you do an excellent job in your job and I really don't want to bother you...But, we are staying at the AKL for a week and we would like to request a few little things.
First, the location of our room. Well, we're not really very picky and we've read that most rooms have a really great view but we would really appreciate a second floor room on the pool side, near the elevator but not near the air conditioners but near the animals' watering hole but not behind the trees near the watering hole in a non-smoking area, with bunkbeds and preferably new sheets as we may be allergic to the detergent you use...And if it isn't too much trouble could you comp us concierge access? I know that's asking a lot but this is a very special trip for us as it's the first trip since my DH lost his job in a freak ball bearing accident down at the plant...I won't go into details but please make sure none of the furniture rests on coasters made of ball bearings...It could cause a relapse...
Now, we're going to be going to MK first & I've heard you have wonderful transportation at the AKL but we were wondering if, since this is our big, once in a lifetime trip, if it would be possible to secure personal transportation to the MK for that first day? We'd be willing to pay 20-30 bucks for the privilege. If this is possible please let me know ahead of time...Oh, do you think Mickey could drive the van?
As for our meals, we're planning on celebrating or 20th wedding anniversary during this trip although it really isn't our 20th untill two years from last Thursday but it's close so we thought what the heck." We've made reservations for V&A's and were wondering if you could get us some special attention from the chef? Also, while we're not picky eaters, I don't eat meat, my DW doesn't eat fish, our DD doesn't eat processed foods and sonny, well he can't digest greens, so have the chef please take this into consideration when planning his nightly menu.
Well, that's about it. We've heard about the Disney Magic for a long time and can't wait to see what little surprises you might have in store for us.

To Whom It May Concern,
My Hubby and I have stayed at your Resort for many years and feel it is time for us to be treated to a Comp room.
We would also like goosedown pillows on 600 count pillow cases as we are allergic to foam.
We also need to be right next to the pool as I take nightly swims, but we must insist that there will be no noise after 10:00 as I need complete silence to sleep.
We also must insist that we have priority seating on all transportation, rides, and at meals, we know others have waited longer but we DESERVE it...
We also need to have someone come to the room and gently wake us as we can't bear the sound of an alarm clock or phone ringing in the morning. I'm sure this will be no problem as you can also serve us our breakfast then....

Dear Room Controller,
My precious daughter who is just a little princess and is the smartest, cutest little girl in the entire world and deserves to have everything that she always wants in life has asked me to write to you. We are booked for a garden-view room on a special code that we got 40% off the rack rate (wasn’t that just so smart of me?) but she absolutely has to have a great view of the Castle. After all, she’s a little princess, and doesn’t she deserve this? I mean no other little girls would ever be as perfect as she is. Because this is my little princess’ first trip to the Grand Floridian I’d also like for you to upgrade us to the concierge level in the main building. I know that this might be a little tough, but I’m sure that you can understand how very important this is to us.
Of course we need to have a non-smoking room because my precious little princess doesn’t want to smell smoke. But please give us a room away from other people, because my mother-in-law is also coming along, and she smokes four packs a day. I’m going to try to make her smoke on the balcony rather than in the room, but you know how mother-in-laws can be.
Because my mother-in-law is coming along, we’ll also need a room close to the elevators, because she doesn’t walk well. I want to make sure that the room is very quiet, because of course my precious daughter the princess will need a nap every day. So please make sure we are near the elevator, but in a quiet spot away from all the other rooms. It would be really great if you could put us in a suite, because my mother-in-law snores and has a flatulence problem, which might keep us awake at night.
I also need to be near the pool because my princess wants to swim every day. So in addition to my other requests, please make sure we are very close to the themed pool. It’s also important to us to be close to the monorail and all of the restaurants. If it’s not too much trouble to ask, could we also have a room with a king sized bed and a day bed, and also a rollaway for my sweet little princess?
Of course we must have the Alice themed room, because that’s my little precious daughters very favorite story. And please ask the concierge to contact us when we check in so that we can get booked for the Cinderella breakfast in the castle.
It would be great if they could also have the room decorated with fresh flowers and a special gift, because my princess' birthday is going to happen during our stay. It would be super if we could have Mickey and Minnie waiting in the room for us when we get back from the park on her birthday to suprise her.
We’d also really like you to make sure that the weather cooperates every day while we are there. I mean, I know we’re going in August, but if you could maybe make it so the humidity is low, and those pesky afternoon storms don’t happen during our visit, that would be great. We know that you’re Disney, and so you can make this happen!!

Dear Room Controller,
I just want to say how excited we are to be heading for this trip of a lifetime, our 7th since our little princess was born! We can't think of a more magical place to spend her 3rd birthday!
We have stayed at your fine establishment during our last 3 trips and have enjoyed every minute of it. Because we are return guests, we know the layout of your hotel intimately and have a few small requests that I know will make our trip extra magical! I know you can't guarantee any thing so I have only included the ones we ABSOLUTELY need.
First, we need adjoining rooms for all members of our party -- this includes both sets of grandparents, her maternal aunt and 3 first cousins, her paternal aunt, uncle and their 4 children (but two are infant twins so it's only one room) and her babysitter and her family. I have attached an excel spreadsheet with the names of each party and their room requests.
It is most important that these rooms be non-smoking (although Grammy Kate and Grampy Lou do smoke and will most likely only smoke on the balcony but I can't guarantee if their gout is acting up but they only smoke in the evening and at times of stress so it won't make too much of a mess since they are in the most magical place on earth :)) and all adjoining. It is imperative that these two requests be at the top of the list since Grammy Boo has agreed to babysit for all the kids one night and, hence, all room doors need to be open simultaneously like one big train car.
The next most important room need is quiet because we are all light sleepers. The rooms should also over look the main pool area and be close the elevators and vending machines since some of our party have trouble walking long distances since their hip replacements.
Since it will be our princess' birthday -- well, we are celebrating it during this trip but she did turn 3 a few weeks ago -- I'd like to make this trip extra special! She especially loves the princesses and I know Mousekeeping sometimes makes towel structures. I have enclosed a "how-to" on making Cinderella's castle out of towels. Please forward this to our Mousekeeper so she can plan on building it for our arrival. To keep the magic going, have him/her to build it on a rolling tray so we can keep it up all week.
We are concierge level -- what a wonderful service and we loved it during our last stay. However, food allergies were an issue during that visit. Our little princess is allergic to gluten and milk and will require hospitalization if even exposed to those two allergens. Please set aside a gluten and milk-free zone in the concierge level. I have provided a note from her allergist to confirm this problem. When setting up this area, please refer to the schematic I have enclosed as well as the food preparation and disinfecting tips that must be followed closely.
Again, thank you for your help. I'm looking forward to our magical stay!
Have a Disney Day!

Dear Room Controller,
I am so incredibly happy to be going to Walt Disney World next week. I know you always do your best to accomodate people and I was hoping you could accomodate this:
I will be sneaking my cat, Fru-Fru into the Grand Floridian. Could you please have a bed set up in the room especially for her. She does not like the color purple, her favorite is pink. Almost anything glittery will do. Could you also have Mickey Mouse greet us in the room when we arrive -- I know this would give my kitty a great surprise seeing that big ol' mouse sitting on the bed!
Also, my darling Fru-Fru absolutely loves Cinderella. Would it be possible for us to have an after hours dinner at Cinderella's on Wednesday, complete with Cinderella *and* Prince Charming. I would ask for Tuesday, but that's the day we plan on trying to get Fru-Fru a hair appointment at the salon.
Now as for the room. We would love to get a free upgrade to the Haunted Mansion after Thursday. I just adore the Ball Room. We could sleep on the tables. Don't worry, during the day we could just dance around the Ball Room with the other ghosts... No one would know the difference!
Oh yes. I almost forgot. I would also like a pair of ear plugs for my darling, for when we go to Fantasmic! on Friday. That reminds me... We also wanted to get complimentary Fantasmic! Dinner Package seating, with out the dinner part. Fru-Fru did not like any thing I showed her on the menus.
I know this next request might seem outrageous, and I hate even asking, but I thought I'd try just the same. Do you think there is any possible way we could get an extra bar of Mickey soap to take back to my wonderful dog, Max? He won't be able to make it to Disney World with us this time, he will be skiing in Aspen.
Thanks so much!

Dear Allstar room controller,
We are SO excited to be staying at your magical resort. However, if possible, could you upgrade us to WL? My husband and son would just love the theming there and my daughter and I would love that castleview! We are only booked for 3 nights but would so much love to stay there for 6 nights at the same rate! That would be magical! We will need an upper floor room, castleview, non-smoking, bunkbeds, courtyard view, EWP view too! Oh, I just can't wait! Make sure those otters are around too! We also need to be near the food court so we can refill our mugs a lot. Oh, is it ok that we plan to use our old Allstar mugs at WL? Thanks! My darling daughter would like the character caravan to consists of all the princesses and my son would be thrilled to have Peter Pan and Captain Hook. But Hook must hide while darling daughter is around as she would be terrified! And being Flag family each of those 6 mornings is so important to our family. Perhaps you can drive us over to the entrance of the parks each morning as our reward! Cinderella's carraige will be just fine. Thanks you for making this trip magical! It is only the 22nd time we have been there AND this trip will be the anniversary of the 4th trip! So, whatever you can do to make this a celebration of that would be appreciated! Oh, and if we are not happy and our needs are not met , we will notify your superior! Thank you for helping make this trip magical for the 4 of us.
PS- we need you to arrange a ride for us to Yacht Club on the 5th day. Our precious children have always wanted to try out that pool and who are we, as parents, to tell them "No"? I mean this is DISNEY and that is their right! Thanks again! :)

To Whom it May Concern,
We'll be arriving at the Grand Floridian by Rolls Royce in approximately one month. We are most certainly looking forward to experiencing the Flagship Resort of Disney! First, however, we would like to make a request or two...
We'd like to ask that all of the peons who don't make as much money as we do could stay on a different level of the resort. We'd also like to request our own monorail cab, if this is possible. If not, we'd accept a Length of Stay Front Cab pass. My reason for asking is that I just don't want our precious children, Buffy and Kenneth, to have to see what it's like to be "unfortunate", if you understand where I'm coming from. We've saved our money for a whole week in order to pay for this trip, and want to make it as great as possible.
My children would also like to request Mickey and Minnie Mouse to join them for a sleepover in the suite. They think that would be "just grand!"
Please make sure that we have an unlimited supply of Fresh Fruit and Crumpets in our room for the entire week. You do not want to see us go through withdrawl. It really isn't quite so pretty.
We'll be looking forward to arriving at the GF and will expect to see all of these requests met.
Thank you,
Ms. Snooty Pants
:)

Dear Mr. Eisner,
I am sending my room request directly to you because as a Disney shareholder (I own 100 shares), I am very important, and my family deserves the BEST.
We are staying at the Poly in May to celebrate our twin's (Walt and Michael) birthday. Since this is such a special occasion, I am counting on you personally to arrange the following:
If you are not using the corporate jet, can you have your pilot pick us up at Newark airport for a direct flight to Orlando? I will let you know what times work best for us. Upon arrival, your driver can whisk us directly to the Poly, where we will be greeted by Roy Disney (after all, what else does he have to do?)
We have a garden view room, but I know that you want little Walt and Michael (we DID name him after you...) to have the best, so we would love to be upgraded to a Lagoon room in concierge with a direct view of Cinderella's castle. (Please remove any of those pesky palm trees before we get there, so we have a clear view). Also, I understand that the rooms at the Poly are a little dark. I will have our decorator forward our vision for the room, so your staff can make the changes before we get there. Also, can you please have housekeeping do something about the stench? After all, little Michael does have asthma (you do know we named him after you...). The boys are looking forward to swimming in the lagoon, and I am sure that once you have the EPA clean it up, it will be perfect for them!
I have also enclosed our list of food/beverage requirements for our stay. I think it is fairly straightforward, but let me know if you have any questions, especially about the wine vintages (we do have such sensitive palates). Thanks also for the complementary park passes. Also, we look forward to meeting the concierge CM who will be assigned to us for the length of our stay. Since he/she is a CM, and knows that he/she has dedicated his/her life to meeting the needs of Disney guests. We look forward to having him/her do our laundry, babysit the boys (the preschool said that they are little terrors, but you know how teachers get...), pack our suitcases, etc.
We do have a few scheduling problems (by the way, it was nice to see the May hours were finally posted on the website). The boys are early risers, so we expect the parks to be open at 7am each day. I noticed that the fireworks will only be displayed once during our stay. Little Walt loves those, so I know you will want to arrange them every night.
Mike, thanks so much! I look forward to seeing you at the annual meeting.
I Deserve-It

Dear AS Movies Room Controller,
We are so excited to be visiting WDW! I have done a lot of research so we can get the most out of our time and money! I've become a regular expert on all things Disney!
I would like to make a small request. We would like to be assigned a room that is within easy walking distance to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM and AK. I understand we could take the monorail to MK, but since I have a fear of enclosed spaces I prefer not to ride it.
I must have "white noise" while sleeping, so a room close to the monorail platform would be great. I'm sure the sound of the monorail passing through Andy's room would work.
We drew straws and our son, Jeff, won so he gets to say its his birthday this trip. Please have a special surprise waiting for him each day! We want this to be extra special, as he probably won't be taking too many more family vacations with us since he's 25. Oh, don't worry if you don't recognize him on the reservation. He's the one listed as being 17! Ha ha! Lucky for us he's kinda small for his age!
We will need regular "mousekeeping" (see, I told you I was an expert!) but please note on our reservation to just leave extra towels & washcloths on the bed. We'll do without the bathroom being cleaned because we don't want to take a chance on Scruffy being let out. Oh, and if we could have a daily newspaper to spread out on the floor we'd appreciate it. We'll leave the soiled newspapers in the hall each day with the room service tray.
Please help make this trip extra special since I'm sure we won't be able to return for at least 3 months! Thank you and have a Disney day!!
P.S. We were wondering if you could check and see if any celebrities will be staying at your hotel while we're there. We just love "star gazing" and would get a kick out of touring with someone famous! Please e-mail me a copy of their itinerary and we'll see if we can adjust our plans accordingly! Thanks!

Dear AKL Room Controller:
We will be arriving at WDW next month and have heard such wonderful things about your new resort. In fact, some of our friends have suggested we ask for the following requests:
We would like you to arrange to have the animals in the safari stand at our first floor balcony each morning, so we can pet them. We also understand that you arrange for the father lion and his cub to put on a private performance of "Circle of Life" directly in front of our balcony as well. That would be lovely, but please ask Mufasa to roar lightly, as I'm sure we'll be hung over from hanging out at the bar the night before.
We would also like to have the whole cast from the "Tarzan Live", performed AK to come do a private performance for us. Please see we get a room large enough to accommodate all the actors, we'd hate to make anyone work under cramped working conditions or anything.
Also, please make sure the mini-bar you're going to upgrade free of charge for us is filled with animal treats, so we can feed the animals any time we'd like from our first floor balcony. Since you must have tamed and defanged the lions and tigers, this shouldn't be a problem, right?
Finally (and thank you so much for helping us out with all these requests!), I'd like to request our bottled water come straight from Africa. I mean, if we're going to enjoying the world of Africa, we may as well have the full experience!
Thanks so much and see you soon!

How fun!!! here goes... and I hope that no one ever has to get a request like this!
Dear Room Controller,
We are so excited to be staying at the Grand Flordian this summer for a month. We have a few requests and expect that they will all be cheerfully met, as you are "the Happiest Place on Earth".
1) Non smoking...this is not an option... very allergic... can't be in the same building as a smoker, so all areas that we enter must be free of smokers and ionized, as well!
2) Connecting rooms... we want Darling Deirdre to have access to our room, but have her own privacy... she will need all of that room for all of the plush animals she will get on the trip---she wants one of every character. I am sure you can help us with that by having them delivered to our room prior to our arrival. I just can't wait to see Darling Deirdre's face!!! Make sure to have a photographer there to capture the moment... thanks! Perhaps you could use that in one of your planning videos!
3) a Fridge, an iron, an ironing board, a hair dryer, oh, and a mini bar, complimentary, of course... we know you treat your long staying guests like family.
4) no rain the entire time we are there--no exceptions.
5) a view of the Cinderella's castle uninhibited by trees... cut them down, if you must!
6) birds chirping at our windows in the morning to awaken us. We want Darling Deirdre to feel as if she is really Cinderella.
7) a visit by Mickey and Minnie to escort us personally to the Magic Kingdom. Oh, and can you see if the Wedding Chappel will lend us the use of Cinderella's coach... I am sure they won't be needing it that early in the morning.
8) a sailboat reserved just for our use at all times during our stay. Donald and I just LOVE to sail!
9) oh, and could you raise the temp of the pools to 85 degrees?Darling Deirdre gets chilled very easily! Must be something to do with that blue blood???
10) guaranteed 1st seating at Cinderella's Royal Table... and have ALL of the princesses there. Oh, and we will be needing your most expensive Princess gown and all of the accessories delivered to our room the previous day. Thanks!
11) access to maid service at all times of the day or night. You see Darling Deirdre has a problem with (well, it embarrasses me to mention it, but ...bedwetting) and we will need a complete change of linens, and for the maid to straighten out all of her stuffed animals so they are neat and comfortable for the night.
12)And could you contact the Fairy Godmothers to send a sitter to stay with the animals? Darling Deirdre just won't have a good time if she thinks they are being left in the room by themselves.
13) sound proofing between the rooms... we are light sleepers, you know and need our beauty rest! In fact, perhaps you can ensure that no one stays next to us, above us, or below us? I am sure that won't be a problem, since we have read that attendence is down, as is occupancy in your resorts. Our staying a whole month will help, I am sure!
14) Our room service served precisely at 7 am every morning, so we can make sure we arrive at the parks extra early...
which brings me to...
15) door to door service from your resort to all of the parks, waiting for us whenever we desire. We have already been in touch with Tiffany Limo, and they were gracious enough to give us a complimentary upgrade. I am sure that you would not mind granting us a complimentary upgrade to concierge... then the mini bar, iron, ironing board and hair dryer will already be in the rooms.
16) Park Family in all of the parks at least once for each of us. We so would love to ride through the Magic Kingdom all day in one of those quaint little vehicles you have there. It would save us from walking... Darling Deirdre gets so tired, you know!
17) and of course, access to the parks prior to any of the other guests... on the days that we aren't the park family, of course!
We are paying good money for this trip, and know that we will have a fabulous time !!!!
Looking forward to our stay at your fine establishment.
Sincerely,
Got A. Problem, Esq.

Dear Mr. Room Controller,
My family and I are arriving at WDW on April 26, 2002. We would like to be assigned a standard view room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is exactly what we booked through CRO. I know this is a lot to ask, but if there is any way you could fulfill this outrageous request my family and I would greatly appreciate it. We would also like to be charged the same rate we were quoted over the phone when we made our reservation.
Sincerely,
Mrs. S. C. Rewd

Dear Ms Room Controller,
We are so excited to be staying at the Polynesian! We noticed on our last trip that it seems the trees have grown a bit in the last decade, and it inhibits our view. Since we are paying a premium rate for a lagoon view, we would appreciate the tree problem be taken care of prior to our arrival.
Because we vacation at WDW for the diverse experiences, we are hoping the staff will be from Polynesia. We don't speak Polynesian, but it is important to expose ourselves to as many cultures as possible. We even plan on having chow mein while we are in the World.
Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. I'm sure you, along with all of the cast members, will ensure our vacation is full of magic.

Dear Resort Coordinator,
My family will be making our 7th trip to Disneyland in Florida in June. We are very excited to have reservations at the Caribbean Beach. But we have become concerned for all those people that have been kicked out of all the resorts that you have demolished in the last 6 months.
I am writing to you to volunteer our room to one of these mis-placed families. In return, we would graciously accept a quiet suite at the Grand Floridian. If all you have available is a conciege room with a view of the castle, well that would be fine also. We really want to do our part to help out those poor folks that were not able to stay in at the resort of thier choice.
In return for our gracious offering to give up our room, there are a few requests. I am sure you would have no trouble with these since this is DISNEY.
Of Course....we would like Prince Charming to be waiting to carry our bags to the room as soon as we arrive. I have heard you now have characters working at all the resorts (isn't it called the Caravan of Characters??), so this should be a simple request.
Minnie is welcome to clean our room each day, it will keep her from getting bored as Mickey escorts us to all the parks.
Since Pluto is my DD favorite, she plans on bringing our dog's leash so that Pluto can also join us.
I also heard that you now have a special deal that is called "Going to the front of the Line". I also understand it is a perk since we will be staying at a WDW resort. I am very excited about that!!
:D
Will all the characters be waiting for us at the front of the line for all the rides?? That would truely be a "Magical" experience!!
Boy I am just so excited about all the improvements that have been implemented since we last visited. Especially the fact we can now enter the parks at any time of day or night with our annual passes.
Oh, one last thing......My sister's bother-in-law's cousin's grandmother's sister's best friend's is a Cast Member at a Disney Store in Alaska. I was told if I gave you her name I could get her discount on all the merchandise I bought and 50% off all our meals. That is just fantastic.
Boy, we are really looking forward to this trip.
See you at the Castle :D
Thank you.

Dearest Room Controller:
We look forward to our stay at the All-Star Sports and hoping you can fulfil the following requests for us.
1> We would like a top-floor, pool-view, non-smoking, cleaned-often, vegetarian, politically-correct, air-conditioned, sun-facing, self-supporting rooms that are maintained when Im there by people who cannot see the do-not-disturb tag on the doorhandle.
2> Could you please put me next to the loudest family at the All-Star with Parents that consistantly argue, have 8 kids who do not sleep regular hours and love to run pass knocking on our door and hiding at all hours.
3> Our vacation would not be complete if you did not put us in the same building as the visiting Cheerleadering squads who are here for the World loudest Cheer Competition at the Wide World of Sport. Could you please ensure that they train all hours of the night and show total disregards for me and other non-Cheer patrons.
3a> As I need the exercise, could you make it that our room is the furtherest from the Buses, Food, Pool, Civilisation etc as possible.
4> Could you arrange it so none of the Buses I want to take ever arrive on time. My All-Star experience will not be the same if I wasn't 30 minutes late for at least 2 of my PS's.
5> Also could you arrange it so we always have one of two types of Bus driver. The Rookie, who has no idea where he's going and gives me several near-death experiences as we cross several lanes to make U-turn back to the turnoff we missed. And the Guy whos former job was Test Driver at the Richard Petty Experience.
6> Because I am a people person, could you arrange that all Foodcourt meals and Bus rides are with people with accents I cant understand, that smell funny and look at me like Im an Axe Murderer or Lunch.
7> Also could you arrange it so that the Smokers smoke everywhere but the designate areas. Nothing says All-Star more than that smell of early morning smoke coming down the balcony as Mousekeeping opens my room door ignoring my do-not-disturb tag hanging on the handle.
8> Could you arrange it so I can have a louder TV than the family next door?
9> Could you also arrange it so that no matter what time I arrive there will be at least a 1 hour wait for check in.
One day I only hope I can repay you in kind.
My most sincere regards,
The Legend

Dear Room Controller,
I am sure that you get plenty of requests for rooms but please put mine first. This will be my husbands first trip to Disney World and I would like to make it as memorable as possible. Now I realize that we are coming during Thanksgiving Weekend and we did book the cheapest room possible ( my husband was recently laid off) but with this being his first trip ever please upgrade us to a suite. We would really appreciate this. Now in regards to location we would like to be upgraded from our parking lot view to a view of the lake, preferably on the top floor so that we can see the fireworks and not have any small children running above us. We would also appreciate any and all credits that you could comp. us so that you may enjoy your delightful spa. I understand that we may not get everything we are asking for but please also keep in mind that we live on Cape Cod and anything you can do for us would be reciprocated if you are ever visiting the Cape. Thank you for your time and we look forward to seeing you when we check in. Oh by the way when we check in we would prefer to do what I have heard of as a "conceriage check in". Please have a representative from the hotel meet us at the gate so we won't have to wait in line. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Sincerely Disney Family

Dear All Stars room controller,
Our much awaited family vacation is just around the corner so I would like to make a few requests for during our stay. It has been 3 years since this family has had the opportunity for a vacation due to military obligations. We have spent the last 3 years in a country filled with collapsed buildings and sewage filled canals. Italy is such a horrible place to stay. We are eager to visit Epcots depiction of Italy where the statues actually move. The ones in the real Italy just sit there and some don't even have heads! Can you believe that? And some don't even have clothes! Not exactly the place you can take a family for an outing. Some of us do have standards! Sorry to get off topic, but this is why we need a Disney vacation. I am just very excited about this upcoming trip. With hubby about to leave for a 14 month  deployment, you can understand our dire need for a magical experience. I hope you can also understand my husbands need for an experience much like sea life to get him prepared for the months ahead. I know we originally booked a room with you, but the swimming pool is just not enough water for dear hubby to look at. He needs much more. IS it possible for us to have a complimentary upgrade to the Grand Floridian so that he can be completely surrounded by water? We would need a room high up (like the top floor) as if he is standing on the flightdeck of an aircraft carrier looking at the never ending sea. We will not be able to spend the remaining holidays for this year as a family, so could you arrange for mousekeeping to decorate our room a different holiday each day during our stay? That includes our birthdays and anniversary, so could you maybe throw that in too? Oh, and one more thing.......could you arrange with customer relations to extend the military promotion for those free and 50% off tickets since that darn ship is currently out to sea and obviously we can't take advantage of that offer. I'm sure it won't be a problem. Thanks in advance. Almost forgot, can we use our EuroDisney Dollars at WDW Florida? They said we could last year when we went, but I just wanted to make sure. Promise I only have one more request.........my favorite character as a child was Tinkerbelle. IS it possible for you to arrange for her to fly from the top of the castle to the balcony of my room just one night after the MK closes? (would we be able to see the fireworks from that angle?) That is the only thing I request. Hubby requests the other stuff, so that way it does not seem like I am asking too much. Once again, we are so excited to finally be going on a family vacation after all these years stuck in such a deteriorated country. Your assistance in making our once in a lifetime dream vacation a reality would be appreciated.
Sincerely
Mrs Gotta Havit

....laughing!! :)
Here's mine. All true, from various trips:
Dear CRO:
I'm looking for a magical stay so, could the following be arranged? I would like to be given a room key that works when I arrive at POR at 2 in the morning and am assigned a room as far from check-in as possible. When the CM brings the new key, 40 minutes later (sleeping child on the ground amidst suitcases), I would appreciate not being glared at.
I would appreciate it if the CM manning the store at the Poly would not complain to my husband for walking in to buy rolaids fifteen minutes before closing time. We were unaware we walked in during unofficial closing.
Would you please ask the PO-FQ lifeguard not to yell at my 5-year old daughter who can't help twisting on the way down the dragon slide? She is extremely light and cannot help that the little bit of current running down the slide twists her. She is not going in head-first; I am standing right there at the end of the slide - it is really not necessary to yell at her. I assure you, she is not trying to undermine your authority <bowing>.
Now, here's the flip side .....
Please thank the smiling CM at Coronado Springs who assigned us the greatest room at the Cabanas.
You've probably heard it a million time...but, I'm so appreciative of the way the maids arrange my childrens' toys. Simba - holding the remote and wearing my sunglasses - was the best.
Sorry my husband and I both lay on the CBR hammock at the same time and, <ahem> strained the ropes. :)

Pssst....Room Controller...over ere.
Howyoudoin? Yeah, I gotta aks you a question. You see, I got my family comin in ere to this Disneyworld thing, and I would REALLYAPPRECIATE it if you could make a couple liddle things happen.
First, I am gonna need the best rooms you got at the best hotel with the best view of that castle for Maria and the kids. Then of course mama's gonna need her own room. She don't sleep so good since Papa passed away, Godresthissoul, so it needs to be very quiet.
Seond, I am gonna need the best steak you got, prepared just the way I like it every night. Also I need a quiet table in the back of the swankiest joint, cause you see I got some friends comin to see me and I gotta do a liddle business. And whatever you do...don't aks me about my business you....(cursing in Sicilian)
And thirdly, I don't wanna wait in no freakin line. You hear me. None of this standin around for my five boys.
Now, you think you can handle dat? You see ere, I'm making you an offer you can't refuse.
(the sound or ruffling bills) No, go on take it. Its just a liddle token of my appreication. Fuggedaboutit.

Dear Room Controller,
We'll be arriving at WDW in 14 days and I wanted to make a couple of requests to make sure our vacation is magical.
1) Could you please call Delta airlines and upgrade myself, my DH, and my DS to first class. Since this is the "official" Disney airline it shouldn't be a problem.
2) I think it would be great if Mickey Mouse could meet us at the airport! I can just picture it now my DS (who is 4) walking hand in hand with Mickey through the airport (too cute!) Just imagine all the free publicity for Disney!
3) We will also need transportation from the airport to the hotel but since Mickey is meeting us we can probably just hitch a ride back with him. What a hoot that will be!
4) We booked a standard room but would love to be upgraded to concierge! Actually we have friends staying at another resort and I told them that we would most likely be upgraded and I invited them to join us in the concierge daily for breakfast before we all hit the parks. So, we would defidently take advantage of the concierge.
5) I am a DC and AAA member and I also have an entertainment card. Since I can get 5% of park hopper passes for each membership I would like a total of 15% off my tickets. I asked at the Disney store but they were not able to give me that discount so could you just set it up for us? Thanks!
6) We stayed at your resort 2 years ago and we overpaid for our room!! When I got home I saw on line (actually a Disney discussion forum) that other people have stayed at your resort for $50 less a night!! When I told my DH boy was he upset but I told him not to worry Disney will make good on the money that they owe us. So could you either credit our room $250 or leave that amount of money in Disney dollars at the front desk.
7) My DS is so excited about the daily character caravan but since he is a boy he only likes "cool" characters so can you please check with us daily to make sure the characters are OK with my son.
Now if you have any trouble with these requests please forward them to your supervisor and please remember
THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!

Here is mine!
Dear Room Assignor:
Hello! Me and my husband are arriving for our 66th trip and we feel like Disney owes US, therefore, we are not trying to be too picky, for we know we are so lucky to be going to such a great place as many times as we have been able to do so. I know the demands are great, but if possible, could you make these arragements: We are slated to stay at All Star Music but would like to be comped to the Grand Floridian at no additional cost. We want the best room there, with a grand view of the Castle and Fantasy in the Sky fireworks. We want a room with new sheets and new draperies, and new towels and new carpet. I am alergic to any other human dander and my Husband is allergic to animals, so he doesnt want their dander from the left over guests who have animals. Also, we have no children, so we dont want any animal shapes out of our washcloths. A few more things you may can do for us includes the wearing of plastic gloves when you come clean our rooms. We dont want any germs what-so-ever.
Also, we would like Mickey Mouse to come to our door and wake us up, instead of that annoying wake-up call you have. We want to be the ONLY guests on the bus and the only guests on the Monorail. NO screaming kids anywhere around us. We are not giving up our seats for anyone. Also, we would like to enter the park one hour early like before, only us 2 in the park of our choice. Also we would like the housekeeping to do our laundry while we are away at the parks. I do not pay that high price for a trip to WDW to only go sit in the laundry mat at your resort. It is the least you people can do. Almost through with my requests, just be patient please. Upon arrival, I would like champagne in our room, it is my mothers anniversary, so I am going to help her celebrate since we are apart. I will just call her, on your dime of course, and wish her well and we will celebrate via the telephone. I wish to have Caress body soap in the bathroom, not the Mickey soap you have, for it breaks me out in hives. Please see to that ASAP. Also, make sure the concierge snacks are low fat because I am on a strenous diet and I dont want to gain weight while I am there on vacation. I would like Priority Seating at 8 pm at the California Grill for Saturday night. I want a window seat and my own personal chef to cook for ME...no one else. He needs to concentrate on my needs before anyone else's. That shouldnt be a problem, I pay enough for the dinner and wine.
And one last park request, please arrange to make sure there are NO CHILDREN in the park. I just can see paying 800.00 for a 7 day park hopper pass and being run over by strollers, and crying kids who can't see Mickey Mouse, or cant have an ice cream. There is nothing more annoying than seeing a mother breast feed or watching the parade and some father has his kid on his shoulders where I can't see. And for goodness sake, that way, no one will be "saving places with a blanket" for SpectroMagic. What a stressful thing to watch OH MY!
One more thing please Room Assignor...we are boarding our 2 prize winning poodle dogs "Miss Lolli Pop" and "Mr. Boo Boo" at the kennel and we would like you to arrange to have them walked for us 4 times a day. As I said, my husband is allergic to animals, and I love my babies, so not to aggravate his allergies, I will want a CM to walk them for me.
Thank you for your time, and you can reach me anytime at
1-555-MEETMYNEEDS to discuss these arrangements. I know you will do your best to SERVE me because I would hate to have to call CRO and have you fired.
Have a DISNEY DAY!

I know ya'll do those big family gathering things.Alas, I don' have a family.I have met some really REALLY nice people on the Dis board.SOOO If it's not too much trouble PLEASE send each of my "family" a coupon thingy for a 70% discount on the GF. Because we are going as a family we will need a block of suites (togetherness, don't ya know). Also, it would be really NICE of you guys to send Mickey and Minnie and all their little friends to greet us at the airport for the free ride special. It would mean the "world" to me.I thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance.

I want a concierge room with a view of the castle (please make sure the trees on the island are trimmed as to not block any of the castle from my room only). I would like to make a request that housekeeping have towel animals when I arrive and changed every hour on the hour so I don’t get bored of them. Can I have special items made up in the concierge lounge and delivered to my room because it is my anniversary and birthday while I am visiting? I would like a cart to bring me over to the TTC to get on the monorail and to bring me back to my room when I return. I want the room with the newest bedspread, carpet and paint and I want a coffee maker, microwave in the room as well as a BBQ grill on the patio.
Be prepared that if one of these things is not honored I will ask for a full refund and I will never return to this resort again.
I will be calling this request in as well as faxing, sending by mail, emailing multiple times and sending Moses with it engraved on tablets.
Please confirm that you have received this request in triplicate.

On a Friday night, just home from work, with the meat loaf in the oven and feeling as far away from WDW as you can imagine, with a glass of wine by my left hand, it is an absolute treasure to share the awesome creativity of DIS people. You guys are the best. Thanks for the lift! I am smiling from ear to ear! Moses with tablets, yet!

Dear room controller,
Since this is our first trip to WDW where we will be staying on-site, we would like all of the following requests met so we can enjoy all the Disney magic without giving up any of the perks of staying off-site in a pool home.
1) We would like to pay less than $150 per night for room and all amenities.
2) We would like five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Five adjoining rooms would suffice each with a private balcony of course.
3) We would like a full kitchen. If that can't be arranged, room service from the restaurant of our choice for no charge would ideal. A butler and maid available 24-hours a day would be required as well.
4) Our own private pool with hot tub. Any themed pool would be fine as long as it was closed to everyone except those in our party.
5) Parking in our own garage outside our front door. I imagine this might be difficult to arrange, so a Disney bus with a friendly, funny driver standing by for us at all times would be adequate. This bus should be prepared to deliver us to the destination of our choice and wait for our return. Destinations may or may not within Walt Disney World property.
6) We can't have noise from any other guests. Please keep all adjoining rooms empty for the length of our stay since we make lots of noise ourselves, but don't want to hear anything from anyone else. I suppose it would be easiest to put us on the top floor somewhere so you don't lose revenue because of the empty rooms above. Therefore our own private elevator should be provided as well.
7) Our pool home is typically surrounded by lush greenery, so rooms with a view of water, castles, and/or fireworks would be equivalent. Service areas, roads, or parking lots would not be appreciated.
8) Since we aren’t used to being surrounded by Disney guests 24 hours a day, we would like our own personal EMH each evening for the resort of our choice. Only guests in our party would get wristbands. Other guests would be welcome to stay in the park as long as they don’t get in our way and they wouldn’t be allowed on any rides. I would think 4 hours would be enough time each evening.
If these requests are met as described above, we might consider staying on-site again.

Please give everyone who comes to visit your resort the best room available. Please make their check-in experience simple and memorable. Have all of the rooms available by 3pm on check-in day (and earlier when possible because that can really make your day).
I would like for all of the rooms to be clean and well-themed. Please have the TV tuned to a resort channel when we arrive, and when we ask for a wake-up call, have Mickey or some other appropriate star make the call.
Mickey-shaped soaps and hidden Mickeys on the shower curtain would be a nice touch.
Also, please help anyone who needs a special accomodation for their room, and order some special surprises for guests celebrating special occasions.
Thanks for the free upgrade to concierge in 2000, the anniversary champagne in 2002, and the birthday balloons in 2004.

Dear Room Controller,
Since we are quite aware that you cannot possibly fulfill all of our requests (not to mention that if you do, we won't be satisfied anyway) please prepare to move into the room you will be assigning us, vacate your home and turn it over to us for the duration of our vacation. Please remove any vestiges of smoking that might be present, have the house meticulously cleaned, stock the pantry with snacks, and arrange to have a towncar pick us up daily to drive us to the parks.
You could also hang a few Disney-related items on the walls to remind us of where we are.
Breakfast should be delivered at 7 AM sharp.

Dear Wilderness Lodge--
Hi! We are going on vacation for Christmas 2007 and are so excited about going to DisneyLand! I just started planning and have been reading all of the guide books and learning lots of cool stuff on the internet that I think will make our trip just perfect! Since we are going during a slow week, I think it will be the nice relaxing vacation our whole family needs. And I am dying to go the the candle light vigil Christmas Mass in Epcot and seeing Ozzy Osbourne's light display.
Everything we read said to ask all your questions and send your requests to your hotel ahead of time--I know we're not going for two years but all this stuff is just so fresh in my mind. I can always send monthly updates to keep you up to date on our plans. We're very low-maintenance and are just excited about seeing Shrek and all our other favorite Disney characters!
Right now we are 86% sure we are staying at the Wilderness Lodge because I loved the idea of staying in a cabin and I'm dying to go to River Country! Is it open Christmas week? And is the water heated?
We might switch our reservation over to the Boardwalk though because everyone says Stormalong Bay is the BEST pool. And I love that will be in walking distance to Disney World because that is my favorite park. We are planning to spend most of our time there. My daughters love the princesses and I heard there was a character meal with all of them at the castle. Can you get us reservations there or do we just walk in?
I know I am just a bundle of questions. Do you have someone I can call to go over all of this? Maybe when I call to make my reservations? I don't actually have a room yet because I am waiting for some kind of code to come out. I keep looking and asking about them but they only seem to be out until July. I also call every day to see if there are discounts next to my name or my address or my maiden name or my old address or my 6 e-mail addresses that I used to register at Disney.com...but nothing! Everyone talks about them and I am thinking that if I get one I can stay in one of those rooms with the free food for about $93 a night. Those are the ones that the monorail comes through on its way to Sea World, right? My kids will love that! And being able to sit on the lagoon and watch Illuminations--that will be total Disney magic!
Speaking of my kids--They are all celebrating their 3rd birthday while we are there. I read that we are supposed to tell you that so they can get cool free stuff and because if they turn 3 while we are there we don't have to pay for their tickets. We have 2 boys and 2 girls--they are fraternal quadruplets, go figure! I don't need proof of age for the kids, right?
For the room, I know the kids don't count towards the headcount since they are under three, but we also have 4 adults (we're bringing both Grandmas to watch the kids so we can have an adult night out at The Cellar in France or Canada, it's a really nice restaurant in Epcot where you can watch Fantasmic while you eat!). The kids are kind of big for 3 though and won't really fit in a crib, so we have 8 in a standard room. I was thinking instead of 2 queens we could do 6 twins and a set of bunkbeds just lined up in a row. I'm pretty sure you can do that, if not I know I am supposed to ask for a free upgrade when I get there.
I think we are going to do the new meal package because it will be a huge savings when we combine it with the AP we're buying to get our code. I figure the kids don't need any tickets or anything since they are under three and just my husband and I will go on the plan and the grandmas will just get park hoppers and quick and casual vouchers off ebay (it is such a money saver--I just got a voucher for only $53!!!!). We're also going to bring my cousin's refillable mug from when she went to Pop Century last year--She told us you can use them anywhere for free drinks, so we'll just bring a bunch of straws and share! Do you do the reservations for us for the restaurants or do we just do them when we get there? I don't know if we're going to be able to decide ahead of time so just get 6:00 reservations at a few restaurants in each park and we'll just decide once we're there. I'd hate to have to walk over to MGM when we are in Disney World just to make our reservation at the Rainforest Cafe.
I think that is all for now. Is there a way to e-mail you our weekly updates? Do you have Yahoo because we IM about the trip every night and I'd love some official input! Can you tell I am SO excited!?! I'm hoping we have such a great trip that my husband wants to go every year and we can do that thing where you get time share points and get in for free. I hear that is really expensive though so I'll have to get a code for that too I guess. Could you check to see if there are any codes next to my name?
Thanks!

These are so funny! Here's my try...
Dear Room Controller,
Hello! Are you ready to work your Disney magic? I really don't have alot of requests and I know you will do your best (because nothing less, than providing every one, will be acceptable :) ) I'll number them to better aide you in checking them off as they are completed. I like to be thoughtful that way.
1) We are staying at the Beach Club. Love that pool! But I really would like to be upgraded to your very best room since it will be my birthday and we all know that is a red letter day! Please be sure the room is full of welcoming gifts, small but tasteful (read: ppricey) tokens of your affection for me. Did I mention that pin trading is very popular in my family?
2) Since we will be staying CL, as per the upgrade request in #1, and I am on Weight Watchers, could you please label all the lounge items with their appropriate points values? I don't want to have to figure them out on my own...after all, this is my vacation. :goodvibes
3) I've never eaten breakfast at Cinderella's Castle. My DS age 12 and DH aren't really into that. I was hoping you could acquire a daughter for me to take to breakfast. Anyone will do as long as she has blonde hair and blue eyes, is dressed like a princess princess: , lovely manners and between the ages of 4 and 6. After all, I do want her to look like mine in the photos. Obviously, you will need to arrange our PS for the most optimal time on the first day of my visit. I'd like the option of keeping the child during my vacation and returning her when she becomes cranky, messy or "cramps my style". Other than that, I trust your judgement.
4) My mom (bad heart) and dad (bad back) are coming too. I was wondering if you could expand the monorail to include our resort and all the parks. I really would like to restrict this portion of the monorail to only YC and BC and BW guests. I think the guest from other resorts will just clutter it up...don't you?
5) I hear the turn down service is really great. I was wondering if I could have a Mickey ice cream bar :mickeybar instead of the chocolate? I'd be willing to call you 15 minutes before I want to come back to the room. That should give you enough time but still keep the bar plenty frozen!
I am sure you will have no problem making this the most magical vacation ever. Ta-ta for now.

Howdy Ya'll
I just have a few notions about what we are accustomed to in our room.
1. It must be the biggest room ya'll have a the AKL. Being from Texas we are
used to plenty of space!
2. Must have a good view of the veranda with all the animals right outside.
Little Bubba will get a kick out of those deers with the curly horns and the
striped horses.
3. We also prefer leather furniture. Got to keep close to the cattle!!!
4. If you could also have a 12 guage available and plenty of amo, just leave
it leaning on the door jam. I would really appreciate it since they won't
let me bring mine on the airplane no more. The boys and I just want to
a little target practice in the evening.
5. We would also like a large barbque pit set up down by the pool. This is
just in case we we hit one of those striped horses or curly horned deer
by accident. Don't worry we all know how to field dress any carcass and
we will bury the entrals so there will be no mess. We will bring our own
bbq sauce.
6. A shovel would be nice too. Better make that 2 12 guages, my DH has
changed his mind and wants to see some of this magic too.
7. We want to do one of those breakfast in the Castle things with those
princesses. Mary Sue and Little Bubba have their hearts set on that.
Just have plenty of steaks and eggs. About those princesses, I have
seen their pictures and they look a little on the scranny side, if you find
some with a little more meat on their bones we would really appreciate it.
Well Ya'll have a really nice day and we'll see ya in about a month.

These posts have been wonderful to read. I have been laughing so hard I have tears streaming down my face. I wanted to share an actual experience I had checking into POFQ.
The gentleman next to us was grilling the front desk hostess about how he paid extra for the water view room, so by golly, he wanted to see the ocean! She calmly tried to explain to him that WDW was about 90 miles from the nearest ocean.
He says, "Your lying. I have seen the map. Florida is a very thin state."
She finally gave up and said she could put him in a room that faces the ocean (I'm assuming facing East), but he probably won't be able to see the ocean from his room. This seemed to please him and she was able to finish checking him in. :sad2:

Dear Room Controller,
You'll have the pleasure of having the company of my loaded rich extended family and I for the whole month of June. Wait, is June peak season? Because if it is we need to be charged for value season because I don't want to waste my precious money on your cheap Disney resort. Can I have an AP rate? What is an AP rate? I'm sure you'll give me one because I'm loaded and I might just slip you $20. ;) We decided to stay at the Grand Floridian because I just can't stand to stay to a value resort and take one of those nasty busses, that just won't do. Anyway, below are some requests I have for my family of 50 and I.
1) All of us are going to NEED to have conceirge service in the Royal Palms Club or whatever it's called. I don't care if there aren't any rooms left, you have to kick out all of the families who are wasting space that SHOULD be reserved for VERY wealthy families such as MY family. There's NO way I'm staying in Sugar Loaf Key. What a tacky name. Whatever.
2) I need to have food in the conceirge lounge for all of my 50 family members and myself. I've heard that sometimes nasty children and men in nothing but bathrobs with grocery bags come in and steal food. Wait, I take that back. I want the WHOLE lounge reserved for my precious family from 4pm-11pm. I don't care if it's closed, have one of those mouse people open it up!
3) We ALL need a view of Cinderella's Castle so we can all watch the fireworks. I demand that you blast the music of "Wishes" into our rooms. What is the point of having a lagoon view if I can't even see the fireworks, the Castle and HEAR the music. Do you think it would be possible if Tinkerbell could fly over our rooms?
4) I can't deal with smoke and neither can my 50 family members. I would LOVE to have everyone at the Grand Floridian NOT be allowed to smoke while were there. Seriously, what would Walt think if he knew people were smoking at the Grand Floridian!?
5) Forget a stupid wake up call from Mickey. I want a parade of characters to come up to ALL of the children's rooms and I need to have a personal character breakfast for my family at no extra charge.
6) Our family LOVES afternoon teas. I want Alice and the Mad Hatter to come to OUR conceirge lounge to have tea. We want PB&J sandwiches, cucumber and watercress, tuna, chicken salad, shrimp salad, honey and peanut butter, veggie, turkey, BLT's. I want all of the pastries from the Main Street Bakery to be delivered to OUR lounge.
7) We want to have mints put on our pillows AT LEAST 5 times a day. The mousekeepers can't come into our rooms without being invited. Our family needs NEW sheets, comforters, pillows. Anything used will NOT do. How about if your staff makes us custom beddings with sparkles! Like Tinkerbell! Please have the mousekeepers inspect our room for any dust. If we discover any dust I WILL SUE! What if the children catch a cold or have to be rushed to the hospital because of YOUR dust. Whatever.
8) We also want to ride in Cinderella's Carriage everyday to the Magic Kingdom. Why in the world would I want to take that weird looking train?
Your welcome, we're so glad we could make your day better by staying at your resort.
Lindsey and my family for 50.

(This is all tongue in cheek.... meant for fun, so hope no one takes offense!)
Hey Room Lady,
Me and the Missus and the youngins'll be 'riving on Fridy 'fore Easter (ya'll see, they has a school break then). We has a room reserved fer us at the Poly .... hey... wadya expect--heh heh--- the All Stars? We's been savin' all our money from our moonshine sales and wanna do it high on the hog!
Just wanted to let ya'll know our needs whiles we're there.
1st, we needs to be right by the main pool (yeah, the one with the volcano), on the 1st floor so's we can go over yonder to the pool anytime we get a hankerin'... think ya'll can open the pool bar fer us, too? The Missus really wants one of them red fruity drinks. I'll just take me a beer. Do ya'll have discounts if if buy 'em by the case?
Do ya'll think that while we're ther ya'll could humor us and put that toilet paper back on the castle? It looked so good ther ! I really wanna take our pitchure to put on the Christmas cards this year in front of it. It'll ruin our vacasion if we don't get that pitchure. I'm sure ya'll understan!
Also, the little gremlins'll be specting Stitch ta tuck 'em in ever'night. Oh, and if Lilo could come, too... that would make me happier than a pig in a poke ! Gotta have equal time fer the men folk, ya know!
Reserve 2 hammocks on the beach fer me and the little woman, so's we can sleep while the kids take over the pool 'n beach. They're just gonna LOVE that volcano slide. Jr was talkin' 'bout how he's gonna go down it back'ards and head 1st, so ya'll better get yerself some more lifeguards, just in case! I'd hate to hafta sue ya!
We'd also like to reserve one a them PSs at The O'hana. I know this's last minute and a busy time, but with what we are spendin', I know ya'll can make it happen. Pixie Dust...right--heh heh!?
We only need one room, but a couple extry cots would be good... that way cousin Sue and cousin Millie won't hafta sleep in the camper in the car lot with the dawgs.
How 'bout fishin in that ther lake... is it good eatin'? Also, we was thinkin' of bringin' our shotguns. Heard there was purty nice critters over ther at that Animal Kingdom. Do they sell the animal heads? I'd luv ta take home the head of a zebra ta go over the fireplace. Put it rite next ta the deer antlers..heh heh!
And, just for one night, can't Stitch fly from the castle 'steada Tinkerbell. I'm shure that little fairy must need a day off ever' once in a while!
I know this is last minute, but I was figurin' you'd have nothin' better ta do, so I mite as well keep ya hoppin'... that's what Disney pays ya the big bucks for, ain't it? Sure do 'preciate the hospitality.

Dear Room Controller,
You may want to make a note of the fact that all 5 of us will be having our birthdays while we are there (the first 5 days), and that my husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary on the last day at the park. We understand that you traditionally supply balloons and treats on birthdays and a bottle of champagne for anniversaries. We prefer Mumms, 1972.
Have a Disney Day!

Dear Room Controller,
As the assistant to the assistant recording secretary of the International 8-Track Tape Player Repairperson's (hey, we're not sexist...we've got a few broads in the group) Association -- the "I8TTPRA" -- I have been put in charge of making the reservation for our annual convention this August.
We would like to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and we have a few requests. We all hate kids, and we were wondering if we could have Building 39 in Trinidad South all to ourselves. In fact, could you just bar anyone under 18 from all buildings and common areas of Trinidad South, that would be groovy. Nothing I hate worse than having a bunch of kids ruining my Disney vacation, but I digress.
Anyway, if you can swing it, we all want a first floor rooms with a balcony instead of a patio. That is kind of a I8TTPRA annual convention tradition. You wouldn't want to be the first hotel not to grant us a first floor balcony, would you? A balcony greatly improves the ground floor view.
We sure would like a retractable roof over the quiet pool to keep us from getting rained on at 4:00 every afternoon. I don't want to have to leave the pool area for a half hour just because of a thunderstorm. And while I'm thinking of it, can you please ask the local weather forecasters to not allow any hurricanes during our visit? Thanks a bunch!
Also, we have a member of the I8TTPRA who is coming in from the Nunavut Territory in Canada and he only speaks Inuktitut. If we could have a Mousekeeper who speaks fluent in Inuktitut, it would be really helpful.
We also would like to request non-smoking rooms. None of us smoke. How disgusting! By the way do the non-smoking rooms have a spittoon between the beds? We have a lot of members who are avid smokeless tobacco users.
Lastly, we were wonding if you could arrange for Transportation to have a bus just for our group. We want the bus to say I8TTPRA on the outside so no one else can use it. And if it isn't too much of a bother, could you put a bar on that bus? And could you hire Ted Lange (Issac the bartender from 'Love Boat') to be our personal bartender on the bus? Oh yeah, and a jar of peanut M&Ms that had the peanuts cut out of them?
Thanks in advance. I will only send you 3 faxes per day and call you 5 times a day for the next 5 months to make sure our requests are notated in your reservation system.

Dear Room Controller,
Hi there, my name is Mike. I’ve been coming to WDW for several years now, and I would like my standard accommodations this time. However, this may be my last year coming to WDW and I just don’t believe my bonus this year was as near as big as it could have been.
First of all I would like my usual presidential suite at the Beach Club. However, I do want the flowers to be fresh everyday, and the turn down service to include the premium chocolates this time (I prefer Godiva). Also, I’ll be bringing most of my relatives since this may be my last year here. They don’t all get along, though, so could you assign them rooms in different wings? Since this may be my last year here, could you also make sure that the pool is relatively free of other guests other than myself and relatives? We don’t like to be hounded by common people. I have enough stress in my life!
Also, I would like to have all of the televisions in our suite to have any stations removed that may carry Warner Brother cartoons or Marvel Comics cartoons. I only want to see Disney related shows and cartoons on our stations. I am still in two minds about anything related to Pixar, however, so I’ll let you know the day before we arrive if I want that removed, too. And of course it goes without saying that we want the premium soaps and lotions this time.
But, most importantly, and this may reflect in your salary at year’s end, I DON’T WANT to see Roy Disney, Jr. while I am there. Keep him out!
Hoping to see you real soon,
Mr. Eisner

To Whom it May Concern,
Hello! We are so excited about our upcoming trip to the Polynesian Resort. My husband and I will be travelling alone staying in the concierge building and I have just a few simple requests that I am sure that you will be able to meet.
1. I am highly allergic to smoke, not only do I want a non-smoking room, but please make sure that no one that smokes has EVER stayed in the room and that the people on either side of me do not smoke on their patios or the results could be disasterous. It may be easier to just leave the rooms on either side of us empty, just to be sure.
2. We have booked a Lagoon view room, but what we really need is a Castle view room. I just can't sleep at night if I can't watch that castle change colors as I fall asleep. I would also appreciate it if we were on the first floor as my husband is afraid of heights.
3. Could you please make sure that you keep the number of children staying at the resort to a minimum while we are there? There is nothing more annoying than children running around at all hours laughing, splashing and having fun. It is bad enough to have to deal with that in the parks, but I need some "adult time" back at my resort. At least could you issue an 7 pm curfew for all children under the age of 18 and remind them upon check-in to use their indoor voices, it would make our stay so much more magical!
4. Could you please make sure that the concierge food offerings are well stocked while we are there. My husband is a very big eater and wouldn't it be embarrassing for you if you ran out of food? Also, could you please make sure that you have plenty of plastic bottles of water available. It's bad enough that we pay the prices that we do for concierge, I expect to get my moneys worth out of the food and drink offerings.
5. In the evenings I find it difficult to relax without a glass of Kendall Jackson
Riesling, so could you please make sure that you have plenty on hand. I realize that you don't usually have this available, so hopefully I am giving you enough advance notice.
6. We normally sleep on goose down pillows, could you make these available for us, or will I have to trudge my own from home. Also, concerning the comforters, could you please make sure the ones on our beds are brand new, can't stand to think of sleeping on the same comforter someone else did.
7. I realize that you probably get requests all the time for free room upgrades, and we don't expect to get anything we didn't pay for. That said, if you were to decide we would be more comfortable in the Princess Suite, that would be fine. Be aware, however, that I will expect you to increase the scope of the food offerings in the Tonga Lounge if you decide to do this
8. Finally, I realize that we are travelling during peak season and that the firework at the Magic Kingdom will be starting rather late. I must get adequate rest, so could you see if it is possible to move the show a little earlier, perhaps closer to 8:30 pm so the noise doesn't wake us.

FAO Room Controller,
We have reserved the All Star Movies this upcoming trip, however since we are DVC members we would appreciate a free uprade to a suite at the Grand Floridian, as I have read one or two negative reviews of the resort on the disboards. As you are aware we have previously stayed at the Grand Floridian so you can rest assured we are 'upperclass guests'. I would appreciate that you book the monorail for me at 7:00am tomorrow as I PS at Cindys. I also request that the food at Cindy's be cooked at my table so I can approve the various ingredients. Also have the maids, clean my jacuzzi with a bleach free cleaner as I tend to get itchy, then fill it with goat milk. I do prefer 1,000,0000 count egyptian cotton sheets though I will take silk ones at a push. I will have showered and be on my balcony at 8:30 pm so have wishes ready to begin at 8:35pm. I also request vintage champagne cocktails , caviar and the Cinderella slipper dessert to be served up during our viewing of Wishes. Do remember to have the pool cleared of other guests by 7pm as I will be taking a swim around this time. Pool heat of 25 degrees will suffice, though I will call you should the air temp become chilly. Of course you realise that my bedspread must be new and mattress must be 50* better than the Heavenly beds at the Swan, since I am a VIP, did I mention I am an AP holder ?
Of course if you really expect me to eat any of the mush served at Victoria and Alberts I expect it to be complimentary, so as I can recommend it to my friends and co workers and disboard friends , otherwise I WILL GIVE IT A NASTY REVIEW! ps have the bathrobes and towels giftwrapped and posted to me at home. Also i would require a free day at the GF spa for my relatives who will be visiting MK later this year whilst staying offsite in their Van.
Ok I will contact you later with the rest of my requests;)

Dear All Stars room controller,
First of all I would like to say just how happy I am to be staying at Disney World. However, I do have some request. Well this year we just could not stop spending money so instead of staying at our usual high class resort we are now forced to stay at the All Star Sports. You do not know how much this has crushed me, my husband and are three girls age 9, 7 and 4. Opps I mean two years old, are youngest is two not four. So what I am asking is for you to purposely over book the hotel so we can be upgraded to a hotel that is more our style. What we are thinking is to be upgraded to the Yatch Club. I once saw a TV Guide show on it and at one point they showed the presidential suite. You do not know how perfect that would be for me and my family, it just make our whole trip wonderful. Now I am assuming that with the presidential suite we will get access to the concierge lounge, with this I have a few concerns. I have recently heard that there has been some horrific behavior at the lounge. So while my family and I are there we would prefer that no other guest be at the concierge lounge while we using it. Also about the water we would like it to be as cold as it can possibly be and have that water only giving to us. About the room, my 9 year old daughter and I are very picky when it comes to our pillows. We would like to have a selection of pillows upon arrival so that we can find the perfect one for our vacation. Another request is for my seven year old daughter, well you see she is deathly afraid of those turbo toilets. So to make the trip just wonderful for her we are hoping that the turbo toilets could be replaced with ones that are less scary. Let’s not forget that we would not like any sign of smoke being near our room. If this does happen we will just need an even better upgrade. Since we are spending so much money we are also wondering if the parks could be open later just for our children. During the day it hot, the sun beams down on you and the lines are just horrendous. I know that this request might sound a little on the extreme side but just remember Disney is for the children.

Billy Bob

Dear Room Assignor,
I am checking into the Contemporary for the first time, since your prices are too high for the tower (even with the AP codes you released) we are staying in one of your Wing Rooms.
I would like to add a few requests to that reservation- you can find it booked through DreamsUnlimited, but I like to handle detailed things myself. The ressie is Conf #123456
I would like a North Wing room, with a view of the castle and I would like a side room, so I can see Bay Lake when I desire. I would also like to be close to the tower, monorail/food court and busses- oh and the walkway to Magic Kingdom.
My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary while we are there- can you do anything extra that will not incur an extra charge? Maybe a comped meal at you lovely California Grille.
We are a little worried about transportation- is it possible to reserve a monorail for us?
I dont know if this is possible, but it would be so cool if Chef Mickey could come down and greet us when we check in- I can get back to you on what we'll be wearing so he will recognize us.
Also, the towel animals are my favorite, could I get a new and different animal on each day of my trip? And could we check in early at no fee and check out at 3- also at no fee?
I hope Im not asking too much, thanks for all you do.

:rotfl2:
This one had me ROFL!!!! Hilarious! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
What a fantastic thread.

Dear Room Controller:
This fax is been sent to your during the customary 3 nites before arrival, to insure a smooth check-in:
As per our conversation, I am confirming my request for a water-view concierge suite at Cindy's Castle. Of course you have already been advised that I am expecting a BDP code, AAA, Florida resident, military discount, not to mention my DM-I-L's AARP discount [in case she decides to join us on our vacation] off the already reduced email price you sent me. I look forward to having your entire staff at my disposal to grant my family's every wish (after all, it IS Disney!)
I am also requesting (due to medical reasons) a FULLY STOCKED refrigerator to alleviate my RARE 3AM Sleat (sleep/eat) Apnia Disorder (a letter from my doctor, Dr. Vinny Boombahtz, is available upon request). As a result, the resort must be kept IN COMPLETE SILENCE until 10 or 11AM daily.
Oh yes, one last thing....I MUST have an endless supply of green M & M's in our suite at ALL TIMES! :bounce:
Looking forward to our stay,
The Obnokshus family

Dear Room Controller,
I am so excited about our upcoming stay at your resort. I would like to request a few things to make my trip perfect:
1. Can you please make sure that I stay on a floor with no children ? I hate when the kids run around the hallways at 9 p.m.on their Mickey chocolate bar sugar rush. Do these kids not have parents with them at WDW?
2. I want my room ready for me no matter what time I arrive. I'm more important than other guests because I paid rack room rates (too difficult to wait for those codes to come out).
3. When the bus arrives, I would like to be the first one on the bus no matter what time I arrived at the bus stop. I don't care that other people were waiting for 20 minutes before me. I'm on vacation.
4. Please let all other guests know that when I do get on the bus, I expect them to let me sit wherever I want. I will not be sharing my seat with anyone and don't look at me to offer my seat to any old ladies or pregnant women. I'm on vacation after all.
5. I do not smoke and would not like anyone smoking within 500 feet of me. Please send a memo to all guests letting them know this request.
6. Please also let other guests know that I will be reserving a chair by the pool for my entire stay. Other guests will know it's mine because my white towel will be on the chair the entire week of my stay. It doesn't matter that I'm at the Magic Kingdom during the day. It's still my chair and no one else can use it.
7. Since I'm staying at a deluxe resort, I expect better bus service. Why should I have to share a bus with other resorts ? The value resorts seem to have quicker bus service and I'm paying 10x what they are paying. I don't like to wait. I'm on vacation. It's all about me!
thank you. Can't wait to start my magical vacation.
:)

Here is mine!! Oh this is gonna be fun!!
Dear Room Controller,
Me and my husband will be arriving April 16-21 at the glorious WL-our favorite resort. And we do have a few requests for our stay. They are not major and I know the CM's at the WL are just wonderful and you will accomodate our every request. You truly do make the magic in our stay. And we would like to say Thank you.
Now, on with the business. First of all, since we have stayed at WL so many times and have spent MAJOR CASH with you, we expect our every demand. First of all, We booked a courtyard view room. I would like to be upgraded to concierce at no cost, with, of course, a courtyard view. And if there are any trees in the way, please have them cut down, I dont want my view blocked at all. I want a King Size bed, and if you dont have room for one, please renovate the room, you have 5 days and Im giving you plenty of notice. You can take out the table if you have to, but leave the dresser. Also, please arrange to have DSL high speed internet service, so I can check my DIS boards while Im on a park break. Dont have alot of time, so that would be helpful. Also, I dont like the carpet in the rooms, so could I request that you put some more in? I like to feel the fluff under my feet. Also, I would like brand new sheets, still in the manufacturing bags, on my bed FOR ME TO PUT ON. I would like to febreeze, lysol, and fumigate my own room and mattress for Im allergic to PEANUTS, DANDER, SMOKE, OREOS, TOILET PAPER, PLASTIC, PARSLEY, SALT, PEPPER, OTHER PEOPLES LEFT OVER SHOE SMELL, AND JUST BASICALLY ALL THE AIR IN GENERAL. I would like brand new pillows, goose-down of course, and nightly turn down service, but ONLY TURN THE COVERS DOWN 6 1'2 INCHES from the headboard, for anything else is unexceptable. I would also like for the Mousekeepers to make stuffed animals everyday and leave them on my bed. I would like TIGGER, A RABBIT AND A MOUSE made. I dont have children, but I would enjoy them. So make sure that is done.
About transportation, we have to do something with that. I would like one bus and one boat to myself. I am on vacation, and as much money as we have spent with you since 1995 I feel like I shouldnt have to wait in line to get on transportation. And my husband is on vacation and shouldnt have to give up HIS seat to a pregnant lady or older person.
Also, since we are 2 adults with no children, I request that while we are there, you do not check in any families with children. I shouldnt have to hear any whining, crying, or screaming while Im on vacation. I can hear all that at my workplace, so I shouldnt have to hear it on my hard-earned vacation. Also, I want one day in each park with no kids. Adult only day. The kids can go to DisneyQuest or a water park. But as much as I pay for a park ticket, and YOU KEEP RAISING THE PRICES, well, I deserve to be in the parks with no kids for at least ONE DAY.
And since we dont have children, and we dont need any PS dinners, I feel it is necessary to request that you at the WL, make sure we get a private dinner at Artist Point. I would not want anyone else in the restaurant, and I would like to have just a plain filet mignon, and shrimp scamp(from Red Lobster). So please make sure that is taken care of.
Once again, thank you for all you do and I hope that you will take my requests and fulfill them all. Because if you dont, I will call and write letters to your boss, and his boss, and his boss's boss, and I will pitch me such a fit to everyone at Disney until I get a week's free stay in concierge, free ULTIMATE park hoppers and a choice of 5 free souviniers a day, and 3 free meals a day. Because I spend the most money there, and no one else matters but ME AND MY VACATION.
Have a DISNEY DAY!

Sincerely,
Mrs. S. C. Rewd

Did I mention that Great-Great-Great Grandpa, our decorated Revolutionary War Hero, does not care for the color red? Please make it a point to re-paint the entire resort in a different color scheme.
I can’t think of anything else right now. Please let us know when these modest requests will be available.

VERO beach room controller
From: THE Droll Hummer family
I will be arriving at your property on August the 14th, 2005. I would like to make a few simple resort requests. I will say I stayed at your property last year. We had quite a few issues with service related issues and would like to head them off at the pass.
1) while I understand official check in time is 4pm. I will be arriving at one and expect my room to be ready. If it is not ready I will jump up and down and berate your front desk staff until I get a room any room. I will be arriving by Hummer.
2) Further you seem to close your pool deck when there is lightening. This happened to us last year, and i was not pleased I paid for the use of the resorts pool and deck area. And I will enter this area at any time I so choose. If I can not get there safely I will ram the gate with my hummer.
3) My young prince somtimes misbehaves and I put him for time outs in the hummer. I will need to have a staff member supervise this time out, as I don't enjoy following through on my time out ultimatums. When I say. john its time to go into the HUMMER. I expect a Cm to appear to facilitate this punishment.
4) also while I understsand back to back hurricanes can be a drag, I expect to not have a drop in service simply because a CM has lost his or her house, It is my vacation and I will not have it impacted because of someones misfortune. Not my problem.
5) And lastly please be sure The Wabasso bridge is free of any and all hurricane debris by 9am. I like to go for a ride firs thing in the morning to show off my Hummer as a service to those less fortunate people. And I do not want it scratched when I am driving.
Thanks you I anticiapte your cooperation, as I paid my money and now you will serve me per my request.
( DISCLAIMER) this post was inspired by an actual guest , at Vero beach last summer who was by far the most annoying creature I have ever seen. He really did walk around yelling about his hummer. It was BIZZARRE.
John I will put you in the HUMMER!!
Do you want to go in the Hummer?
If you don't stop *****ing at me, ( this to the wife) I will go for a ride in the HUMMER. each time he said hummer he yelled the word Hummer. by the end of the trip we were openly mocking him. My teens would go back to the room and turn and yell by the Pool. We will be back we are going to find the elusive hummer.
Sarah would you like an ice cream. No But how about a Hummer. By the time we left, sad to say we had reached his level and were obnoxious ourselves. :sad2:

Dear Room Controller,
I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to my trip next month. This will be my fourth trip to Walt Disney World as a solo traveller, so you can imagine how much I love this beautiful resort. You always make it so comfortable and convenient for us solo travellers. However, I do have some concerns.
First, I want to make sure that I get a good room. Please understand that, for me as a single woman travelling alone, this is a safety concern, not merely convenience. I'm uncomfortable walking through the resort after dark, so I would like to keep this to an absolute minimum. Please ensure that my room is exactly equidistant from the bus stop and the cafeteria, while being as close as possible to both. If this is not possible, please ensure that I have a suitable escort on call to accompany me around the resort as needed.
Second, I will be needing to call home to check in regularly. I would like to have my long-distance calls comped. Once again, this is a safety issue for me.
Third, I sometimes get a little lonely when I'm touring the parks. It would be great if I had someone to accompany me in the parks. I know that your Cast Members are too busy making towel animals and dealing with difficult guests (if only everyone was as patient and understanding as I am) to keep me company in line. Therefore, I'd like to suggest some kind of "Adopt a Solo Traveller" program. You could pair me up with a family to talk to and to keep me entertained. I would prefer a family with children, because they're so much fun. Oh, but could you please ensure that they are quiet, well-behaved children. And no breastfeeding mothers, please. It's very important that my delicate sensibilities not be offended.
Fourth, I'm told that you frown on the re-use of refillable mugs. My mug is from two years ago and a different hotel. I'd like to honor your rules, so if I brought my old mug to you, could I trade it for a new one? That would be awesome!
Finally, since I am travelling alone and only will be using one of the beds and half of the towels, I think it's ridiculous that I have to pay the same rate for my hotel room as a couple or a family of four. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could decrease my rate by half. I was able to get the AAA rate of $59 per night, so that would make it $34.10 per night, including tax.
Thank you very much for your help. I'm sure everything will be great! I'll be in touch if I think of anything else.

Dear Disney Room Assignor,
I just wanted to write to you and tell you I recognize that you must have a impossibly difficult job to try and grant every request. I love Disney World so much and there is enough magic everywhere that you can put me anywhere in the resort, as long as I have the same access to food court, bus stop, gift shop, etc as everyone else, I'll be happy. I cant imagine being disappointed. The towel animals housekeeping creates just make my fun days even more special and our room always looks so much better then how I left it in the morning on my mad dash to the EMH park that morning.
I know you work hard and probably dont get a lot of letters written back to you with compliments. But I wanted to tell you the room you gave me at POFQ for our last trip was most excellent. The moment I checked in, I admired our location, looking out over the river and watching the ferry go by-pool right around the corner- a King bed, on a far corner of the building so NO ONE walked by in the 5 days we were there. It just started our trip off on the perfect note and I wanted to say thank you! Your job is incredibly special to me and I really appreciate all that you do. You are the one who truly gets the Magic started for guests as they come to experience Disney World and it's resorts. So Thank YOU!!

Dear Member Services:
I would like my OKW Grand Villa moved over to the Grand Floridian. Grand is Grand, right? And I'd like the Grand One available every time I want to use it. Especially to get over to the MK for EMH. Please have it fully stocked with snacks and goodies. I'd prefer some of those cheese danish from Cinderella's Royal Table, but leave off the apples. How lower class! I'd much prefer Montana Huckleberries on my danish.
While you are at it, I get motion sick. So please don't let Mission Space spin during the week I am on it. I'd still like it to operate, but not spin. Can you make it move forward instead, but not too fast?
On those EMH wristbands. How about something with a little class? Those cheap mylar things just will not do. Maybe something in Platinum and sapphires instead. Better yet, move everyone else out of the park and keep it open for an extra three hours for me and my family.
I like to feel the wind in my hair, so please modify the monorail during our stay to a convertible. I promise we won't try to jump out.
About the Grand Villa, we need brand new bedding, furniture, towels, etc. Those old used things are just so germ ridden. We just don't need to bring out our own Lysol while we are there. We pay plenty for these rooms for them not to be clean. Is that too much to ask?
We may be expecting a few friends to join us while we are there; shouldn't be more than 20 or 25 extra in our villa. Most of them in the pack and play, so have plenty of them ready for us.
Thanks so much for taking care of these few items for us. Looking forward to a Grand vacation.

Our two handsome, young boys, ages 6 and 8, were invited to Neverland for an all expense paid trip. Unfortunately, as I understand it, the Proprietor of Neverland has been temporarily inconvenienced, so the planned All Expense Paid vacation will not be able to proceed.

Dear Room Controller et al:
We will be arriving at the Dolphin this Saturday.
You will know I have arrived when my new Rolls-Royce Phantom pulls up in front. The vehicle will need to be valet parked, but I will drive it the spot myself, and request that a valet provide me transport back to the front entrance of the hotel via a rental car, provided by the hotel. Nothing less than a Lincoln, Cadillac or similar will be acceptable. I must also request that my car be parked in a row without other vehicles, and that a guard be posted at all times to ensure the car is safe. Oh, I must also mention that the luggage will be unloaded immediately upon arrival and taken directly to the Los Presidentes Suite.
I must also mention here that this suite will need to be refurbished completely before we arrive. This needs to be a complete refurbishment, from top to bottom. Everything in the suite must be replaced. This suite may not be used by other guests until we have completed our stay. I also insisted that there be no other guests on this floor at any time. Anything deemed not acceptable upon our arrival will be replaced within 2 hours, and will be to our specifications. To be safe, I will be sending our personal decorator to ensure the suite is decorated to our liking. All fees’s and expenses to be paid by the Dolphin, of course.
We also require a personal maid, available 24 hours during our stay, a butler and a chef. All will be available to us 24 hours a day during our stay.
There are to be fresh flowers in every room at all times, and they must be white flowers. No other colors are acceptable. Roses, lilies, carnations etc will be acceptable as long as the arrangements are at least 2 feet tall and 2 feet in diameter. The sheets will be only 1020-Thread-Count or higher Egyptian cotton, and they must also be white.
We will not stop at the desk to check in, so you will need to have a member of staff escort us to our floor and check us in from our suite. Oh, at not time is the staff to have direct eye contact with us. This must be relayed to all staff that will come in contact with us. If at any time eye contact is made, the hotel agrees to dismiss that member of staff and comp the suite for one night.
We request the Grand One be moved to the lake at the Dolphin so we are able to use it to go to the World Showcase etc. This yacht will be staffed at all times since we are not sure when will be using it. The butler will phone the staff of the yacht when we are ready to use it. No other guests will be allowed to use the Grand One while we are there.
When we venture out of our suite, we request that the lobby be cleared of other guests so we don’t come in contact with germs etc. While on our visit’s to the parks, we will need to staff members to escort us and open all doors, flush toilets, etc so we don’t soil our hands. Please also let the staff know that they will also clear a path for us during these park visits so we don’t come in contact with other guests. These staff members will not be allowed on the Grand one until they have been sanitized upon our return from the parks. If they wish, they may make other arrangements for transport back to the Dolphin.
We may desire use of the pool etc. At such a time, all other guests will be removed from the area, all water drained and replaced and heated to a comfy 78 degree’s. Any Jacuzzi will also be cleaned and sanitized.
This process will need to take place any time we desire to use the pool and Jacuzzi if other guests have been in them. Oh! We need all the water in the fountains to be replaced and then colored blue. Deep blue, about the color of sapphires.
I think this will cover things for now. If we think of anything else we will contact you.
Thank you,
ROBIN4NY

Dear Room Assigner
As a guest who has been there more that 4 times since 1998 I have a few small, but very reasonable request. If it is not too much trouble, I think it would be very magical if you could send one of your finest Mickeys to get my cuties out of school the day we are scheduled to leave.(And I completley understand if you don't fly one out and you just want to yank one out of one of your local Disney stores--I am very accomodative--help me help you)
Thank you for helping me get Jet Blue have "Its a small world " Piped into the sound system for the whole 2 and a half hour plane ride. You rock!
We are so excited to be staying at your beautiful WL for the 5th time since 1998.As I said on the phone my little guy is alergic to pine needles so if you could be a doll and get rid of only those trees on the property with pine needles that would be great.I would like a courtyard view of the pool and lake but also of the otter pond and mk.You will have to have those rooms across from us vacant so you can open the doors and windows so we can see clear to the kingdom while keeping my view of the pool. You guys are just the best.As we dicussed on the phone I would like the GF to institute their mobile spa to the WL so that my princess can get her hair braided by the pool at the WL and end it with a wonderland tea party. And lastly I want to thank you for getting the jello shots for a day put into the MK for my dh so he will want to come with me again next year. Two thumbs way up for that one.We are so looking forward to having our needs met.Mrs Getalife
