How does check in at the 2nd resort in split stay affect dining plan?

I'm not sure my title really asked my question. We're doing a split stay and thinking about adding the DDP to the first resort. I understand that credits expire midnight of the day you check out of your resort. Does the time we check into the second resort have any bearing on when our credits run out? For example, can we check in to our second resort and then go for lunch for any remaining CS credits?

Your first resort and second resort will not be tied together. I have done this several times. When we check in we get new cards, the only reason to hold onto your old ones will be if ticket media are still on there and if you have dining credits still on there. Your dining credits will be good until midnight of your check out day. so check out when you'd like, check in when you'd like and go eat when you want until midnight.
