Sept. 2008 Trip

After all the downloading, saving and asking for help with designs we will not be making our trip to Disney in Sept. DD, DSIL and 2 dgs will be going without us so some of the things I made will be used.
Our DS, DDIL, DGD will be moving back to the east coast from Ca., they called us last night to tell us. He is a career Marine and is getting orders back to Beaufort SC, so that is a lot closer for us, about 5 hours from us. DH and I will fly out the end of August or first of Sept., DH will drive back in the truck with ds and the dogs and DDIL and DGD and I will fly back. I am so excited that I only got 4 hours of sleep last night. We have a lot to do before all this happens, they will be staying with us at least a month until he reports in and they find somewhere to live. I will gladly give up my trip this year for that.:dance3: :dance3: :yay:

Small world! We just moved from MI earlier this year to Bluffton (about 30 minutes from Beaufort). We love it here.

Great excuse to change your vacation plans!!!!

Thanks everyone. He was stationed in Beaufort until 2001, he has been in Ca. every since then, first San Diego and then in the central valley. I love Beaufort, to me it is a very peaceful place.
I can hardly wait.:banana:

my dad was stationed on Parris Island, I'm guessing that's where he's going to be as well. Other than the sand fleas, it's great. LOL

Actually he will be at Beaufort MCAS just down the road from Paris Island. When they were there before they lived on Ladies Island.
