Disney Magic before arrival

I was thrilled when I called my travel agent yesterday and asked her about the discount that came out for Aug-Sep. She was able to book us at the CSR for just $40 more than our preferred room at ASsports. We loved sports when we stayed there in December, but affording a mod resor was just not in the cards this year.

I am SO excited for your trip. Thanks to this board or I would have never known about this deal.

we are going Aug 8-10th at the All Star Sports and switching over to DVC but i tried to see what discount I could get and they said the only thing available at the discount rate was carribean Beach.. no interest with the main pool out of service..

Yeah, I just called about having the discount applied to our stay that I booked back in May for the POR. Wish we would stay at the CSR, we love that place, but now that our little guy is 4, our family of 5 can only stay at POR.
I was kind of bummed because the deal for the Values is similar to the bounceback I was offered (and reserved) back in Nov, so it doesn't feel like anything special... I planned this trip around those specific dates (3 of us are staying at the ASM at the end of the trip, while DH and oldest DS head home), not thinking another great offer would come up...I probably won't take a bounceback again this time.
