View Full Version : DDP, kids, and menu choices -- I'm confused...

This may seem like an obvious thing but since we have never used the DDP i am not sure how this works...:confused3

We are doing le Cellier with our 4 lovely children for lunch during our trip. We chose this restaurant mostly because it actually has some real food choices for the kids (they are not pb&j every day kids). So here is the question:
I know they will love to get the steak option with the "kids picks" , but it says "Grilled Steak (add $2.00)". Am I right to assume that this would still be included in their DDP?

(I'm not trying to be cheap here I just like to be as well-planned for controllable things as possible since the inevitable uncontrollable always occurs with four kids! :rotfl: I want to be sure to plan the appropriate healthy gratuity into the daily budget ...)

:thanks:

They can order the steak on the DDP. You will get a bill for the $2 add on only. :goodvibes

Before we were able to get the steak and it was all included on the DDP. But maybe something has changed...I am not sure.

I don't think they make you pay the $2. I did this last year and they didn't charge me extra for it.

We did it last June and this June and were never charged the $2 either time. We were on the DP both trips.

My daughter got the steak on the DDP and we were not charged extra. That is for those who are paying OOP.
La Cellier is great. My son(ASD) did not want anything on the menu, so we stopped at the Mickey D's that is right before Canada in WS and used his CS for chicken nuggets and fries. The CM who waited on us, brought him a plate, a soda and dessert with no charge to our DDP, they were wonderful.
