Welcome to my TR! It has taken me a little time to get it started, hope you all enjoy it!

We had a wonderful trip, though a little stressful at times, after all we honeymooned with 3 boys and both families :faint:

I will start with the vendors who all were wonderful:

Disney and Marion A: Wonderful, they really do make sure all the details are taken care of! Marion is a true professional, there will definately be a hole left when she retires! She was receptive to our ideas and pulled it all together wonderfully!

Floral B+: We had Laura, she was very nice, you can really tell she loves her job. I had brought lots of pictures to our PS and she went from there, none were exactly what I wanted, probably because I wasnt sure what I wanted. I wanted peonies and roses I got both- the peonies in my bouquet were a little more purple than I liked and the flowers in my bouquet started to fall out before the ceremony. Our reception flowers including white peonies were beautiful. overall wonderful--

Beaute Speciale A: We had Lily- she was great. She came to my room at 4:45 was bubbly and happy- I on the other hand was bearly dry and dressed! She was patient and got her stuff ready while I finished--
of course I had pictures of what i wanted- and forgot them in the car- oh well, she had told me she did Jessicas hair the day before and since I had seen it I told her a loved her hair- she then modified it for me! :cool1:
My makeup at first, I was like :scared1: I dont usually wear alot and she had talked my into fake eyelashes- After I settled in with it I loved it and the eyelashes, they opened my eyes and it looks great in pictures!

Randy A+: There really is nothing more to say! He is awsome! Everything everyone else has ever said is true and beyond! i cannot wait to see what the pictures look like- the anticipation is killing me!

Rev. Jack Day A: He is such a sweet man! We sent him our vows, he adlibed a little, perfectly. The only complaint from our guests was they had trouble hearing him during the ceremony- I think it was because of the large outdoor space.

Carolyn Allens A: The only service we used is a tux for DF. The came promptly and DF's tux fit perfect. She didnt have the cuff links but had them at bellservice at the hotel by the next morning- it was definately and easy process!

Joann A+: Okay who is Joann: she is one of 2 people I invited from my job. i have worked with her for more than 11 years. She is probably the best hearted person I have ever met! She was staying with a friend in orlando to come to the wedding. Since I didnt have a bridal party she stayed with me the night before the wedding- otherwise it wouldve been me alone since DH and I stayed apart-- She suffered throught the 4:30 am wake up- made me coffee and kept the camera rolling! She wondered Epcot behind Randy taking more pictures and help me with my dress. She is the only person who offered to help us with our children in between the reception and dessert party! I just needed to thank her for all her help! Talk about going above and beyond! I hope all of you have a "Joann" in your life!

I think that is our vendors--

YEAH! Sandy, you started your TR! I am so excited. I love you MK photos they are amazing! I was happy to see my name in you first post! That made me feel so excited! Wasn't Lili amazing! She is Superwoman! Isn't it amazing how she creates exactly what you want! Wow! You looked wonderful!

When I was checking out your MK pics, I thought is was weird that I had not received any notification from Disney that my pics were up. So, I tried to guess my username and I know the password is alway 1971. After a few tries I guessed right and discovered mine were up too. Did you get notification from Disney to let you know yours were available?

Well, I can't wait to read more about your trip. I think it is so neat that we are working on our TRs at the same time. I love it. Your TR will be my relief when I am taking a break from mine!

your hair was my inspiration! you looked so pretty on your day! Lilly was excellent and boy she has such energy!
your pictures came out beautiul! That is weird that they didnt send you anything- I got 2 emails, the first saying they would be up within 2 weeks of them being done and how to get on... the next day I got one saying they were up- and that was the end of last week!

I know I have been spending so much time catching up on everyones that I have been a little lax starting mine, but now that it is rolling I should be ok-- hope you enjoy! I cant wait to hear about the cruise I so want to go on one!

Wow, I especially love the photos by Cinderella's fountain :lovestruc

Do you know who your photographer was?

our photographer was TY, I asked for those pictures. We got the feeling they are trying a little harder to stick to the castle/carousel.

beautiful pictures at MK!

Day 1 thurdsay June 12:

the alarm was set for 5:30am, we had packed most of the car the night before so all we really had to do was shower, pack the cooler , make sure the cat had food and water, wake the boys and off we go....

We got up,it wasnt too painful, we were heading to Disney after all--the goal was to leave at 6am! if we are going, we are going to get there and have a few hours to enjoy!!

Here is the car- packed to the gills! The tuxedos and dress where the last to go in--
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3109.jpg

then the most precious cargo- you think they might sleep- but no- they are also too excited to sleep---

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3111.jpg

Any our mascot

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3117.jpg

AWAY WE GO!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :drive: :moped:

We usually have the car gases up before we go but since gas is so much cheaper in SC we filled up when we crossed the state line-- then back on the road! We made a stop in Georgia to potty and grab some breakfast-- we hit all sorts of nasty weather on the way down- that driving rain where you can hardly see-

We were so excited when we finally saw this-

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3118.jpg

:yay: :yay:

Unfortunately my "Welcome to Walt Disney World" sign was too blurry! I hated that- i take that one- as does the rest of the world i'm sure- every time we go!

The drive took about 8 1/2 hours, we arrived in world around 3:00-

We were spending our first 2 nights at all-star movies- they were actually an add on to our vacation. our first intention was to go to my dads in Gainesville where we could leave our boys and go get our license there. But, thanks to the dis..we got our license by mail and avoided the chaos that lives at my dads and got 2 more disney days:banana:

WE'RE THERE!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3125.jpg

We checked in pretty quickly and gathered our Just Married pins which we doctored up with "Almost married" and our date- we also got some pins(bday,1st visit) for some of the welcome bags.

I had ordered a basket to be in the room for the kids when we got there- and when I was checking in I saw it sitting on the shelf :headache: I was a little irritated because the room was ready and it never got put in it- i told the CM I would just take it - I think the boys where excited- It has cars, spray fans, and an animal kingdom passport for each of them and a Leo plush for the baby. there was a note to the boys to have a great honeymoon from Mickey-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3136.jpg

We headed over to our room, which was in the love bug section- it was OK but I think if I did it again I would pay the extra for a preferred room- it would be closer to everything, but since it was only 2 nights I didnt try and get anything better-- I had requested the dalmation building hoping for some pixie dust- no go! My youngest loves the "puppies"

The rooms are a little small-especially with our family of 5- but our intention was not to spend alot of time there anyway-

Here is what greeted us-seems pretty standard at check in-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3137.jpg

our room-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3138.jpg

We brought in our 2 day bag of stuff- I had packed it seperately from everything else, my dress, our chocolate welcome dinner favors and a few other things so we didnt have to overcrowd the room!

We decided to take a swim-

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3140.jpg
the pool is cute, nothing special- I spent most of my time with my youngest in the kiddie pool and splash area-

It had rained a little and had cooled off some so we decided we might as well head to Epcot--

lov2b@disney
07-01-2008, 04:25 PM
Day 1 continued-

We decided to drive to the beach club to drop off the welcome bags, then we could just walk to Epcot-

When we got there DH says he wished we had just came right to the BC- we were staying there the rest of the trip- I reminded him of the 2 bonus days at Disney and he had something to look forward too~!

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3141.jpg

When I dropped off the bags the CM noticed my pin and gave me a beautiful red rose
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3142.jpg

We wandered a little, excited that in a couple of days we would be staying there, then head to IG to pick up the boys tickets, I had done will call when I ordered them-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3143.jpg

Then through the gates we went to Epcot-we decided we neede to visit World showcase and specifically Italy since the next time we were going to be there was our wedding rehearsal day! On the way around we decided to stop and get something to eat at AA. As we approached a cast member asked me my name I told him and he said "we having been waiting for you" We said follow me and bought us in to the Liberty Inn and yelled "hear ye, hear ye please congratulate Mr and Mrs. lov2b they will be married tomorrow(we had told him on wednesday:confused3 ) in Italy- it was funny, and embarrassing! I thought DH would die-he is not all about the attention! Everyone clapped and congratulated us. He then took us to the front and got us some apple pie!

We ordered food and all ate--and continued on to our next stop- ITALY!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3146.jpg
and the boys on the place where we will soon be married:lovestruc
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3147.jpg

We enjoyed more world showcase, riding the 2 rides there Maelstrom and the 3 caballeros. Our youngest loved the 3 cabelleros- he loves donald--and the oldest found a hidden mickey in the fireworks on the ceiling at the end of the ride--
Fun in Norway!(Does everyone do this?)
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3151.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3150.jpg
2 favorites of everyone soaring and test track were out of fast passes and had long lines so we decided to skip them for another day
We headed to Nemo- which after that any time we asked the 2 yo what he wanted to ride it was "nemo" at every park, every day!:rotfl:
We rode spaceship earth-- the boys like end and compete to try to get the silliest pictures!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3149.jpg

We made our way back to world showcase and watched illuminations from a distance.

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3153.jpg

Someone has had a enough-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3154.jpg

We walked back through IG to BC and headed to ASM for a little sleep and a busy next day!

DAY 2: FRIDAY 6/13/08

We let everyone sleep in a little so they would be ready to go!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3259.jpg

Big day! We had to drop off all our stuff at Francks today and our 1st guests were arriving!:cool1:

We got moving, and took a long stroll around through mighty ducks to dalmations so DS-2 could see the puppies-we have watched that movie i think thousands of times-at least it seems like it! He was in AW of the giant puppies- it was cute!

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3159.jpg

we made our way past the main pool to cinema hall and had a little breakfast at the ASM food court-sorry no food porn I kept forgetting! the good thing about the food courts at the values is you get the DDE discount--

We decided since we had time we would stop and explore Coronado Springs-I love to check out the resorts--
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3162.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3163.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3165.jpg
even made time to play with the ducks-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3171.jpg

overall it was pretty, the day we visited there was a function going on and traffic was not very good.

Next stop Francks to unload the 6 boxes of stuff for the wedding! The door was locked i had a panic moment before someone finally answered and opened the storage area so we could put our stuff in! :yay: Wow it felt real now!

Then on to Fort Wilderness to drop off my dad and brothers welcome bags-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3174.jpg

Next stop on our tour- Wilderness Lodge where we had a 2:30 lunch reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe- Since we got there a little we went down by the water and let the kids blow off some steam at the playground- we really like WL, have stayed a few times so it was fun to revisit it- it is one of the kids favorites!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3179.jpg

the kids played with the lincoln logs until we were called--immediately the server threw straws and napkins at the boys-they thought that was great--still trying to break the habit at home!:rolleyes1
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3188.jpg
But overall our experience was less than I anticipated I dont know if it was because we were at the end of the lunch times but not as much fun as I read about! The food was pretty good!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3189.jpg
I got a pirates punch with a cute light up Capt. Hook-even though I asked for a tink! She did give it to us for free-Congratulations! Just a touch of pixie dust. Still, not that impressed- we had a better experience at breakfast a few years ago--

After lunch we took the boat over to the MK!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3190.jpg
Yeah! It just doesnt feel like Disney until we see the castle--

:woohoo: I can't believe I missed the start of your report! Marion and Randy are both so fantastic; there really aren't words that can describe how great they were at our wedding too!

Your MK shoot was beautiful; I love some of the shots by the partners statue. Also, the angle with the Cinderella fountain is beautiful. We had some of the actual water fountain spouts showing in our shots :sad2:

That's too bad about the boys basket not being in the room, but at least they still loved it. Isn't it odd visiting the site of your wedding with so many other people around? We didn't go to the AAR until after the wedding (and it was closed for a private event) but just being outside with all the other people was strange after we had it all to ourselves for the wedding.

You have some really cute shots of the boys, looking forward to reading more.

hey Vanessa! Thank you- water spouts- yuk! It is funny because DH kept noticing how Randy noticed little things that would be in pictures, like the picture in my siggie- my bouquet is on the water fountain spout- genious!

It was weird to revisit the location- especially after the wedding- we actually went in between our reception and DP and not even a flower petal was left

Don't say that!! I just ordered 250 pics from our trip in May!! They should be here this weekend! Yikes!!

I love your pics from WL!! We so want to stay there when we go for our VR next year, but we may have 5 with us, so we may have to stay at AKL. But i definately want to try WCC and explore the grounds at WL!

OK back to the completion of DAY 2:

So we got to the MK:yay: and recieved a call from FSIL- her and her family had arrived safely at ASM, our first guests:cool1: The had left at like 3am to drive so her husband was going to nap and the kids swim and they were going to meet us around 6. We decided since we were full from lunch we would start slow and gather our GP-(game plan) (the kids spent have the vacation trying to figure out what GP meant- they were going with GIGGLE PLAN  )So we headed to the TTA- we enjoy it as a way to rest and cool off!

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3193.jpg

From there we decided to go to Toontown-our last trip Goofy Barnstormer was one of DS-7's favorites--(he moved up to bigger things this trip)
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3207.jpg

I stayed back with DS2- he's not quite ready for rollercoasters yet--

We got the call that FSIL and family were on the way- we were going to meet on Main Street by the train station so we decided to take on Philharmagic to kill a few minutes since there was hardly a wait- No wasting time hanging around, must fill every minute!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3211.jpg
by the end of the trip he was really mastering the 3D glasses!

We met up-their kids were so excited-it was their 1st Disney trip- so decided to head through Adventure land -pirates was closed :headache: but was due to reopen mid week and we would be back:woohoo: and on to Fronterland- I really wanted to ride Splash Mountain-it had been year and it is one of my favorites! I was preggo one trip and the next it was closed for refurbishment:mad: So we ride- I caught the wave off the boat that had just dropped and got DRENCHED!! Oh well- damp undies and on we go! We hit Big Thunder Mtn which the boys likes My DS7 now had a partner in crime his future cousin-8yo!
And on too Haunted Mansion-

FSIL and the trouble makers!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3213.jpg
We headed to Fantasyland next-sorry no pictures!

It was about an hour before Spectomagic so i decided to try and grab a spot on Main Street- the kids and DF family stayed and played and I got us a spot-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3214.jpg

all the goofy boys- sans the 2yo!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3229.jpg

all the kids

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3230.jpg

I love Spectromagic- it is my favorite parade- they changed the characters in the beginning- they were those white masked guys not they are more clown like- not sure if I like that!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3233.jpg

After the parade we headed to Tommorrowland to get FP for Space Mountain-now a contender for best rollercoaster for DS7! It was extra magic hours so we got to ride some more stuff before we pooped out and headed home at about midnight! FSIL and family stayed until 2am- closing the joint!

Coming up-Day 3 at HS-Star Wars Weekend!

Wow! Were they from your own camera? I get real nervous about stuff like that? I haven't yet ordered anything as a result - I'm such a slacker :confused3

I hope you get better results from them soon!!!!!
they were from my camera and I have ordered online- usually from Kodak, but since I loaded the pix to my laptop and it is an HP the quickest way was to order from snapfish (an HP company) so I did and now I regret that! I got an email responce that they would be back to me in 48 hours-crazy!

Don't say that!! I just ordered 250 pics from our trip in May!! They should be here this weekend! Yikes!!

Oh! I hope yours come out good! mine look like a digital image with all the tiny little boxes of color that need to be merged to a smooth color- does that make sense? And I know it is not the camera because I printed a couple on my printer dock at home and they are fine! It just was not cost/time effective to do it that way!

WL is awesome we really like it -we have stayed there 3 times and may stay in November too! once DS2 is 3 we too will need rooms that accommodate 5- I think the only ones at WL are deluxe rooms- at least I thought i read that they can have 5-

WCC is fun-- i think it would have been better if it was not at the end of lunch when they were more in cleanup mode for dinner-

Great update Sandy! Sorry about the Snapfish problems. I've only used them once for a collage poster and I was happy with what I got. I usually get my prints from shutterfly. I'm glad you emailed them, I'm sure they will try to fix them or give you a refund. Once I had a similar problem with shutterfly and they fixed my pictures for me, so it worked out in the end. Good luck and let us know what happens!

DAY 3: CHECKING IN TO BC, DHS- STAR WARS WEEKENDS

Stitches wake up call came at 7am! We dragged out of bed too shower-letting the kids sleep a little longer, a little difficult in such a small space, but every tiny bit helps later!!!;)

It was the day we were going to the BC for the rest of our vacation:cool1: We were soo excited, we had never stayed there and we ready to go. The ASM was good but we were anticipating the little more that the BC has to offer!

The boys got dressed in their Star Wars Weekend shirts i made them!

We made a few trips to the car- this is when having a stroller comes in handy-packed it up and took everything out-we only had one bag of clothes for the couple of days and some wedding stuff to bring out! After check in we were heading to DHS, needed an early start to try and get there for opening since we anticipated it to be busy since it was star wars weekend!

We decided to stroll to the courtyard to "say goodbye", the last minute pictures:

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3262.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3263.jpg

And :car: away we go!

It was only a few minute drive and we had arrived-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3269.jpg

We parked and went in, leaving all our things in the car- since it was only 8am we figured the room would not be ready and we would just come back in the afternoon before dinner and unpack.

There was no wait at the check in desk, clearly, proudly wearing my ALMOST MARRIED pin and hoping for maybe a little pixie dust- we booked a standard room- all I asked for was a full balcony- it makes nap time a little easier on the parent waiting for DS to wake up-

Much to my surprise the room was ready and she said it had a full balcony and a daybed(always a good option so the older boys dont have to share a bed)

We grabbed just our welcome party favors since they were chocolate and headed to the room, it was on the water side of the hotel, right in the area of the pool on the 4th floor which was great we went in-- the room was nice- spacious( in compared to ASM) and bright- :yay: all was great--------UNTIL I OPENED THE CURTAIN TO SEE THE VIEW-----I felt nauseous and instantly though of work. (i am a nurse) and i hate taking patients to a room in the hospital when the view is the roof below and the vents and things.

The view was the roof of the 3rd floor below was rocks on the roof and directly in front of the balcony was a architectual peak the completely obstructed the view to ANYTHING! :scared1: All you could see on the sides of the peak where some tree tops! I wish i had gotten a picture I was too upset-

DH at this point could tell I was NOT HAPPY:sad2: And kept asking "What do you want to do?" I kept saying I dont want to look at that for 9 nights!!! again, "what do you want to do?" This went on for a few minutes, when in my distress I said one of the keys doesnt work lets go back down and I'm going to see if they will change the room--we grabbed the favor box, left and were hoping not to look back!

We went back down I told the same CM that one of the keys didnt work. Then I told her that the view was awful- rocks and the back of a roof--I told her that we would like to change rooms, it did not matter if it was ready, I was willing to give up the balcony, daybed. I also asked if there was any upgraded views- which I said we would pay for--

She called whoever she needed to call to get a room change and after what seemed like forever she said she was able to get us a different room, which was also ready-convienent-and :pixidust: was an upgrade to a waterview- for no charge!! :dance3:

We apprehensively decided we better go check it out, just in case--
it also had a daybed and the view was wonderful, and the location was also great- 3rd floor right above the lobby area- which was great for the morning coffee fillup!

The mandatory Mickey head towels at checkin-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3270.jpg

The view of the room from outside-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3273.jpg

And from the room- a great view across to the BW-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3303.jpg

Much happier we decided since we were already behind our original schedule and were not going to be at DHS for opening we decided to head down to the Beach Club Marketplace for a little to eat-and the boys were driving us crazy because they were STARVING- it really is amazing how often we starve them!!

We had breakfast sandwiches- ham, egg and cheese on croissants and a couple bakery items to share-YUM! We sat out on a patio across from the Marketplace - it was nice and quiet- we talked about the days events then finally headed over to DHS--
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3271.jpg
We went to the lighthouse to catch the friendship boat-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3274.jpg

The crowds were definately pouring in, starwars music playing we were excited- the boys love star wars they were pumped:woohoo:

We were greeted by the stormtroopers-

We decided to head directly to Toy Story since it was new we knew it would be crowded and fastpasses would run out quick-

Well the wait an hour and the fastpasses were for later in the afternoon-3:45-4:45- but at least we got them- an hour wait just is a bad option with a 2 year old!

We decided to head to the Backlot tour-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3277.jpg

Everyone enjoyed it - it was many years since we had been to DHS- our last big trip DS-11 had a GI bug and we missed our day there-

We then decided to try and find Darth Vader! At breakfast we decided we wanted to find him and the Disney characters dressed in their starwars stuff! This was the goal for today-

We found him right in the area the Backlot tour ride lets out- perfect- the wait to see him was about 45minutes-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3288.jpg

we then set out to find Jedi Mickey! We headed toward star tours- YIKES! It was soooooooooo crowded over there!
The boys pose for a picture-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3292.jpg

We finally found a CM who told us where we would find Jedi Mickey, still couldnt find him,
taking a break from looking -
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3293.jpg

until we found another CM who pointed us in the right direction-and WAA-LAA! We hit pay dirt!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3295.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3296.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3297.jpg

Since we wanted upclose and personal with Jedi Mickey we got on line to get pictures and autographs! We meet some nice people on line and hung out a while waiting-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3300.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3301.jpg

After standing in line in the sun we were ready for some airconditioning so we headed over to the Great Movie ride, we had never rode it, we enjoyed it The boys really liked the Gangster area since this is where they did the little skit-

Cooled off we decided to head back to the BC to unpack and relax a little before we had to be back for our reservation at 50's prime time cafe-

We headed back to the BC and unpacked-this time we had lots of suitcases and stuff-
We filled the drawers and organized the rest-\

The boys goofing off on the balcony(what little there was- didnt bother them though)
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3302.jpg

once we got everything straightened out it was time to head back for our fastpass for Toy Story and dinner-

And we're back-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3305.jpg

We headed straight to Toy Story- i pulled out the fastpasses and realized earlier I had looked wrong and was an hour off- I thought it was 4:45-5:45YIKES  it was 5:00 and we were ow 15 minutes late for our FP time-

I though DH was going to flip--it all ended up ok- we were let in!!! And we absolutly LOVED the ride! Boy do you work out the pulling arm though!
A new family favorite!

We headed to the 50's primetime cafe for dinner, now this was already a bone of contention for me since FSIL and family were supposed to join us and decided not too and I was irritated that I had made all sorts of ADR's for people--I asked them before I made the reservations- an all trip people backed out at the last minute-

I got over it and we checked in and waited only about 5 minutes and were seated-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3306.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3307.jpg
Food was pretty good enjoyed it up until DS-2 decided he didnt want to sit any more and proceeded to act like a wild beast! the servers kept telling DH not to pinch him--at this point we were ready to have our check and she took a long time to get it too us- could she not see we were all getting distressed at this piont- it probably was only 10 or so minutes but 10 LONG minutes! We left and peace resumed!

We browsed some shops after dinner and searched for a Star wars weekend pin- we apparently they dont have one- WHY? there is a pin for everything!

We decided to head over to wait for Fantasmic-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3310.jpg
DS-2 doesnt sit still very well without entertainment -
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3312.jpg
so I took him for a walk- there was a DP set up -had to check it out- all the DFTW planning has caused a sort of obsession and we headed over by the entrance where apparently alot of toddlers were brought to run off steam and wait for the show- DS2 had alot of fun running with the other kids--running is good! Wears them out!

We headed back right before the show started and he fell asleep-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3317.jpg

We enjoyed the show-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3320.jpg

We left after to head back BC to catch some ZZZZZZZ for the next day---

congrats on the upgrade!!! Glad you were able to get a room you liked!! Love the starwars pics!! I'm sure it is very crowded during that time!!

you're so lucky to have DS fall asleep on you!! my kids won't sleep anywhere except a bed, making long trips to the parks a hassle. And WHY does it take so long to get the check when you have a screaming child??!! Even at home, it's like the servers LIKE to hear your child fussing and crying! Gesh! Just give me the check before he starts throwing things at you!!

Sandy, I'm so glad that things worked out at the Beach Club for your room. I'm impressed how early you were able to get your family up and running every day. Day 4: june 15, 2008, Father's Day- AK

Stitch woke us up at 7am- seemed to be our time of day! We had a 9:10 ADR at Tusker House at AK- so we roll out of bed and groggily be on our way!
The boys in the Solarium at the BC-a nice quiet sunny spot waiting for us to fix coffee-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3321.jpg

Ready to go-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3322.jpg

We were meeting my dad, sister and 2 nephews and DH sister, husband and 2 kids for breakfast.

We met my family at the BC and followed each other to AK- we always drive to AK I dont know why but it is easy.

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3323.jpg

My family-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3326.jpg
my dad decided to upgrade his tickets to an annual pass--I've been trying to turn him to a Disney junky too and maybe it is starting to work!!:woohoo:
They actually had a separate reservation because they decided later to join us so we went ahead and met DH family and we all hoofed it back to Tusker House in Africa!

My now SIL and husband waiting for our table-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3327.jpg

We didnt wait long, my family got there before we sat down. Before you go to be seated they take a picture of your group outside-to entice you to buy once inside! Of course I did!;)

There is plenty of character interaction, including a little parade around the restaurant-which is great the kids get up and move around a little-the food was yummy and the juice was great- I cant remember what is was but our kids drank pitchers of it!

We finished up breakfast and met everyone outside of the restaurant we decided to get a FP for the safari and since it wouldnt be too long we explored the Pangani Forest Trail- the highlight for the kids... a gorilla pooped!

Then we headed to Kilimanjaro Safaris-

waiting- my son and his cousin(they were so excited they would officially be cousins once we got married) and they are a handful together

After the safari we decided we should get a FP for Everest--

One the way we stopped to see the leaf lady- she is really cool-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3374.jpg

And the mandatory picture of the tree of life-

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3375.jpg

Before we got to Everest we noticed the wait at Kali River Rapids was only 20 minutes--DH said he didnt want to get wet so he went to collect the FP and we would ride- well somewhere FBIL disappeared-we waited like 10 minutes and I finally told SIL we were going without him--it turned out he went with DH to get the FP-oh well, he lost out! We had fun and got wet!
It was really funny a wave came over the side where my DS7 was sitting and he got drenched---it was hot already so we dried up quick-- all except the 2 trouble makers- we stopped for a bathroom break and they found a little fountain area and finished the job the ride had not- they were dripping wet!
of course I didnt get a picture because we were annoyed since we thought they were in the bathroom and could find them for just long enough to start panicking---

We met back up with DH our FP werent for a while so we decided to head to Dinoland--we rode Dinosaur, when we came out it was pouring! SIL stayed with DS2, my sister and her 2 boys--we found them under a tree trying to stay dry-- my phone rang it was my friend who came in from NY to come to the wedding she was in the park- I had left her our itinerary--I couldnt have been happier, we grew up together and were good friends since middle school and I hadnt seen her in about 6 years-I was wonderful to see her again-

her little girl and DS2-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3377.jpg

We enjoyed a nice visit and catchup while the kids played in the Dinoland playarea-we decided to take the young kids to the triceratop spin, when we got off DH family was gone- I asked where they were and SIL got a call that DH other sister, her family and his grandmother were in Orlando and on their way to the hotel so they went to ride Everest and were leaving to meet them- I just felt bad because the kids didnt get to ride all together--

DH took the boys and i waited with Evan while they rode-- shortly after we decided to go back to the BC, we had an ADR at Rose and Crown for Father's Day---

Father's Day Dinner--

My dad, sister and nephew came back to the BC with us, we cleaned up and walked over to Epcot, it was not really raining but it wasnt very nice, kind of misty- We didnt wait long and were seated on the outside (covered) patio- it was nice-

Me and Dad had Bangers and Mash- yummy!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3383.jpg

My sister decided to order the surf and turf- she didnt want the "surf" so they brought hers without it but charged the full price--which i normally wouldnt care about except that somehow i ended up with the bill!!(this is a recurrent theme:mad: )

While we were eating a man at the table across from us must have been having a birthday and his family ordered a cake- they brought it out and sang--my father proudly:confused: ,more out of obligation was wearing his bday pin I put in his welcome bag(it was his bday earlier in the week) and says I am glad noone did that to me--- well--

a few minutes later our server brought out the Father's Day cake i ordered for Dad and DH, but they also used it as an opportunity to sing Happy Birthday to my dad!:rotfl: He was so embarrassed---

The cake- DH loves Donald-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3385.jpg

It was really yummy!

We had a nice time , after dinner we decided to walk off dinner in world showcase it still wasnt very nice out but we wandered a while anyway before heading back to BC, we had planned on swimming but it wasnt very nice and we called it a night!

Up next Blizzard Beach, tux fitting, and another dinner paid by me!:headache:

Great update, looking forward to more.

One question: You mentioned that paying for everyone's dinner became an unfortunately recurring theme for you. I am afraid this will happen to us at our wedding as well. Is there something you would have done differently to stop it if you knew that would happen, or is it just one of those things that you wenren't going to be able to stop? Not trying to be nosy, just hoping for options and advice :goodvibes:

Love the updates!!!

I was probably rude in that I sent an email to friends explaining which dinners were "pay your own way" and which were treats. My mom did the same with our family and I let Rick's family know. It worked out well for us :goodvibes

I'm sorry you got stuck with the bill for dinners!! That is totally unfair!! After the 1st meal, i'd have made a general annoucement at the begining of each meal, near the server, that all meals are on seperate checks! Takes care of everything!

Mostly it is because of my sister who is naturally a SPONGE- a whole dramatic story I wont bore you with--

We used our DDE card and some where willing to split the check others were not-- they were not so I ended up with the bill this night and the next! It was my dad-who I have no problem paying for- my sister, her babysitter-who she decided to bring(not invited) and her 2 kids- so it added up quickly.

We ended up only using the DDE for ourselves so the checks could be split, I felt bad not extending the discount to others but after $500 in food for 2 days (not including a full day of feeding everyone for the wedding) I was done!

Love the updates!!!

i actually did send out links to the menus and prices when I asked who wanted to be included on the reservations-- I guess I needed to make it more clear:mad:

As above my sister takes advantage- and it made me mad that she didnt offer anything- not even i have no cash I'll pay you back---

It was a little- ok alot of money I didnt plan on spending! 3 adults and 2 children! My dad-- of course said he'd pay me back- but it is her that i'd like to see pay not him! So I told him I didnt mind paying for him but not her whole clan--I know it is futile I will never see any of it!

DAY 5: BLIZZARD BEACH

We had promised the boys we would go to a water park this trip, I think DH and i could have went either way. Since alot of our trips recently have been in January we have skipped it- we let the boys pick which park to go to and they picked BB.

We got up early-yet again- To get to the park at opening, DH had a tux fitting with CA later in the afternoon so up at 7:30 and we hit the road running---

AFter parking and walking towards the entrance we see- Summit Plummet- I had already decided this was not for me, i think I'm still digging reminants of my bathingsuit out from the last time I went on something like that!
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3388.jpg

We used our AP discount on the tickets which worked out good
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3389.jpg

We paid for a locker- then realized we probably didnt need it- but oh well we stuck our $ and "valuables" in it. we had plans to meet my friend from NY and her family for the day--

We all decided to set up camp at the kids area we have the 2yo and she has a 9month old- we then decided to go on the family raft ride- we decided to take the chair lift to the top-we wait on line and then I see a sign that says you have to put young children in the seat-well I had planned on holding Evan, in a death grip on my lap- much better control that way- I think I started to sweat, 2yo do not sit still very well and i envisioned him slipping under the bar and UGH:scared1: So I promptly got off the line, DH and the 2 older boys had a nice leasurely ride to the top and I mostly carrying Evan hoof it up the hill to the top, thank God he decided to walk the stairs near the top, I was so tired when I got to the top!

We enjoyed the ride- Evan hated it and screamed the whole time! I decided to take him to play in the kiddy area, lessen the trauma--DH took the big boys to ride some of the rides/slides that Evan couldnt go on-

No pictures of DH and I -only cute kids in the pool! The theming is cute in this area- my only issue is unless your on the slides with them you have to do a lot of running to keep up with them!

My friends little girl-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3394.jpg

After playing a while DH came back and got us and we decided to play in the pre-teen area which is a nice transition area for kids not ready for the big slides, then on to float on the lazy river for a while- I really liked that they had the tubes with bottoms so Evan could sit and float- much easier than trying to hold him all the way- we enjoyed a trip around and decided to pick up my friend and head to the wave pool--

We ate a hidiously expensive lunch-and back to the kiddy pool when they skys quickly grayed, the thunder and lightening started we decided we would pack it up since we had to be back for a Tuxedo fitting at 4:00 any way-- it was actually kind of funny everyone was running when it started to rain--I wanted to say, Hey, we are at a water park why isnt this what you came for-to get wet!

We headed back to the room, where DH had a tux fitting and I planned on meeting my friend at the BC pool for a little bit- well we get down there and it starts to thunder again so no go- we wandered around a bit and headed into the Yacht CLub-which seemed much quieter than the BC with hardly anyone in the gift shop-

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3416.jpg

Finally we got to go to the pool-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3425.jpg

my friend-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3417.jpg

Evan loving the sand in the pool-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3418.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3420.jpg

We didnt play long and more thunder and lightening and out we go!
We decided to head back to the room where we get in the elevator with the lady from CA- I thought she would've been done already- oh well-

I tried not to look when DH tried on the Tux, I wanted to be surprised. It went well everything fit-she had forgotten cufflinks and said she would leave them at the front desk, she called a bit later and said she did not have them in her car but would drop them off in the morning- no problem- since we had 2 days until the wedding---

We got cleaned up and ready to meet my dad, sister and family and my brother who was driving in today at Boma at AKL- I was excited to go over to the AKL since we have never been there and I love exploring new resorts!

AKL is beautiful! Too bad it doesnt have better transportation options-that is my only issue with staying there-
Boma- atmosphere is awesome, really cool...food I, nor most of the adults really cared for the African stuff-I tried it though-
There was Prime rib, chicken, salmon, salads(reg and African),fruits, soups

for the kids-chicken nuggets, wings, fries, mac and cheese, pasta meatballs and sauce- kind of the usual kids stuff at buffets

i am glad we did it but probably wont do it again-we just dont have adventurous eaters.

day 6: June 17, 2008 Rehearsal Day!

Today is rehearsal day! Evan had a bad night- so far the only one and was up several times and got up at 6am, not being ready just yet to get up I got him to lay with us--

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3476.jpg

i got up and started to get ready our rehearsal was 8:30, we were meeting our guide at the IG at 8:15. We got ready and headed out, it is a pleasant walk to Epcot. We easily spotted our guide and headed to Italy where Marion and Rev. Jack where waiting for us. We mostly just talked through everything since it was just us and the boys. Really no practice. But it was nice to meet Rev. Jack, who is very sweet before the ceremony- I also brought to Marions attention a couple of changes that were never made to our BEO--we only picked up our final one after little changes(itinerary changes) on friday when we dropped off our things at Francks--they did not get it to us before we left, much to my dismay. The rehearsal probably only lasted 10-15minutes and we walked back.

Crossing the bridge from France to the IG we noticed alot of people waiting to get into the park. We felt pretty cool being in the park, everyone was looking at us-wondering why we were in and already leaving the park---just keep 'em guessing!

We had not eaten and decided to walk to the BW Bakery and get some breakfast--an added perk it was Jessica's wedding Day and we got some front row seats to see her heading to SBP! Beautiful I might add!

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3478.jpg

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3479.jpg

After eating we walked past SBP, pausing to see the wedding and then back to the BC to make some calls and see what everyone was up to today--

our timer we got 350+ days before the wedding now read-
(sorry it is blurry)

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3481.jpg
ONLY HOURS LEFT!!!

My dad and brother came to meet us and just hang at SAB for the day. Everyone else went to AK--

DH ended up hanging in the room for a while because Evan was really grumpy and I told him his son needed a nap---I think he took the clue and said he would stay with him:rotfl:

Couple of BC pictures I took on the way down to the pool-
DS on balcony
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3483.jpg
pretty courtyard-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3484.jpg

Unfortunately I left the camera in the room and was not going to chance waking Evan up- so pictureless afternoon-

We relaxed by the pool, floated in the lazy river and pretty much did nothing!! It is a great pool to just hang out at. We ate burgers out of buckets from Hurricane Hannahs- DH finally joined us a few hours later with Evan--right before it was time to get ready for the rehearsal. We went in about 3:30 to get showered and changed.

Before we left for the rehearsal I checked into my room, which a friend was sharing with me . Of course it was not that easy- they had lost/cancelled my reservation, I dont think I ever figured out what happened. All I knew is it was paid for and I needed a room to be able to hang my dress and get ready for my wedding-- It did get straightened out but what I didnt realize was they gave me a room with a King bed! So the night before my wedding I shared a bed with my good Friend Joann!:)

29apr00

 There's a lazy river at BW??? At SAB? No way!! That's it, definately changing my reservation for the VR....again. :rotfl:

Too funny!! most brides will do anything for the king bed, and you get one that you can't "enjoy"! :rotfl:

 There's a lazy river at BW??? At SAB? No way!! That's it, definately changing my reservation for the VR....again. :rotfl:

Too funny!! most brides will do anything for the king bed, and you get one that you can't "enjoy"! :rotfl:

Yes! The SAB at BC is awesome! The lazy River is not really big, it is deep in spots though (8ft) but if you just lay(tubes for rent), I did see some people with noodles, close your eyes and float who cares-- it is very relaxing! Not to mention so many little nooks and crannies to hang out , the slides and sand for the kids!

Yes, king bed-- and a friend who already didnt know there was going to be a wake up call at 4:30am!:lmao:

That is so neat that you got to catch a glimpse of me and the wedding. Too exciting. Did you happen to snap any pics from a distance? I know probably too weird to take pictures of someone you don't know, but I would have love to see my ceremony from your point of view. Oh, and I can't wait... your wedding day is getting so close!

I read this part to my husband; that is priceless!! :rotfl:

I also loved the pic of Evan in the photo booth :lovestruc he's a cutie but all your boys really are too!!!!

Quick question what do they serve at the AK breakfast?

Sorry to hear about getting stuck with the bill. I was glad that this didn't happen to us. Did you talk to your family about it at all?

The Donald cake was so cute; did you order it through Disney Dining directly?

The breakfast at AK is buffet with pretty much the ususal breakfast fare nothing fancy, the juice is awesome. The character stuff makes it really fun!

I didnt really discuss it directly with them--before I made the reservation I sent an email with all the information about the restaurant including the price--- next time no hints;)

I ordered the cake through the cake hotline--

O'hana Welcome Dinner June 17, 2008

Since we only had 33 people we decided on a Welcome Dinner for everyone! We decided on O'hana based alot on the recommendation of this board. We enjoyed it when we have eaten before and the fun entertaining stuff they do during the meal. We had lots of kids traveling with us and any GOOD reason for them to get out of their seats and burn off some stream is great!!

Entering the Poly, the lobby is tropical plants and waterfalls-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/DSCN0086.jpg

Our reservation was 5:15, we told everyone to meet at 5:00, which worked well all but one family got there on time, and that family was SOOOO late, they got lost on the way to the poly-ending up at DTD:confused3

Checking in-next to a pushy lady, she wiggled right in front of me to check in
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/DSCN0090.jpg

Evan and his great grandma! She was amazing during this trip, she is 91 years old and she lasted longer in the parks then me! They had here out until 2am at MK for EMH one night :faint:

I asked them at the podum if we could set out our favors before everyone sat down, they were very accomodating.
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3487.jpg

They put us in the main dining area, in the middle of the restaurant, our table when from one edge of the walkway around the restaurant to the other. There were 2 other partying in the same area.

They called up everyone celebrating a special occasion, wedding/anniversary.

DH and I got up they asked everyone what occasion we were there for and then had us all dance--

http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3558.jpg

Then DH started to talk to everyone at first I thought it was a thank you to everyone for coming, which it was, and a thank you to my Dad who hosted the Welcome Dinner, which it was. Then it turned to how much he loved me and he had a gift for me-- I was floored, I had no idea that was coming, surprises are fun, but I was kind of embarrassed---

During his speech-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3562.jpg

Opening my gift-my sister's faces are priceless-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3563.jpg

Seeing the gift- which I need to get a better picture of. The are a pair of earrings, that apparantly he had been plotting for a while to get, through his sister's friend in NY.
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3564.jpg

They are diamond hearts, in the middle are 3 sapphires(matching my e-ring and wedding band) of course the 3 sapphires look like a hidden mickey(not on purpose and someone who is not a disney fan may not even notice:eek:  )

i had been having trouble deciding what earring to use for the wedding and that is when he decided to get me them. Sweet:lovestruc so of course i wore them for the wedding----

After dinner we wandered out by the pool, taking in the views over to the MK. Most of our guests had never been to the Poly-

Our family-

My side of the family-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3572.jpg

We all decided we would meet back up at the BC to swim, relax and head to bed early--for the 4:30am lingering wake up call---

up next-THE BIG DAY!

OUR WEDDING DAY! June 18, 2008

Starting with the night before--I stayed in a separate room--i checked into my room and didnt think to tell them someone would be staying with me and when I went to the room to hang my dress and put my overnight bag in there, low and behold a single King bed--

The dress hanging out- i did not have it steamed, i talked to the girls at the shop where I bought it and they said it would be fine if I hung it out-they had stuffed it like I was in it- They were right it was just fine--and one less thing to worry about coordinating-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/DSCN0138.jpg

Since I had no bridal party and my friend Joann was staying off property at a friends house it made sense that she just stay with me the night before the wedding so it would be easier for her to get to the ceremony and she could help me get ready. She definately didnt know what she was getting herself into!

We got to the room somewhere around 11-After I helped DH get the kids washed and settled and all their stuff ready for the next day. i kissed everyone good night and went to my room-I showered and washed my hair so it would be easier in the morning and we headed to be, now the king size bed was really no issue since we comfortably could've fit at least one more person:rotfl: I made the wake up call-4:30am:scared1: This is when Joann found out when we were getting up!!! At this point it was nearly midnight and we are chit chatting in bed and she said "too bad it is so late,i had some questions for you", so I responded "what are your questions?" Well, i thought they were going to be easy, and really they were, but not quick! The first one was "Why do you love James?" So here we are after midnight with a looming 4:30am wake up call having this long, serious conversation--at least it felt long as I was starting to panic about no sleep and bags/puffy eyes-and yes you can see it in some of the pictures! Finally we went to sleep and when Stitch called 4 hours later i was NOT bright eyed and bushy tailed but i drug myself out of bed and into the shower! Luckily I decided to wash my hair the night before so I tried not to get it too wet, less to do before the arrival of Lilly from Beaute Speciale at 5am!

I got done, dried off, had the big underwear debate-i had 3 different ones and didnt know which to wear--luckily i had the chicken breasts sewn into my dress so NO bra:cool1: When---a knock on the door---WHAT--it was only 4:45 and my hair was still damp- it was the bright eyed and bushy tailed Lilly! She was like a ball of energy! I WAS NOT! Joann took the liberty of making the little tiny pot of coffee that comes in the room- since there was no where to get coffee yet in the resort:scared: I was excited that it was my wedding day but I was tired, but slowly waking up!

While Lily set up-literally moved things, took off lamp shades- i finished drying my hair and Lily was ready to go! She is so cute, she talked the whole time, she is high energy and very personable!

Here we are getting ready-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3575.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/DSCN0140.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3578.jpg

she started about 5am and worked until about 6:30-yikes-I had alot of work to be done! My hair turned out perfect-exactly what I wanted! She talked me into fake eyelashed which turned out good- the eye makeup was alot compared to what I usually wear-DH definately noticed-I wasnt sure I loved it but once it wore a little I liked it better-

James called at about 6:00 to let me know everyone was up and laying around like slugs! He was showered and was trying to motivate the 3 boys to get done- since he had no help my dad was coming over at 6:30 to help him finish up the boys in anticipation of Randy's arrival at 7:00!

I told him I loved him and couldnt wait to be his wife and wished him luck with the boys. I was glad I didnt have that stress to deal with on this morning!

The finished me:

my hair-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3581-1.jpg
and me-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/DSCN0142.jpg

Joann helped me into my dress -
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3584.jpg

then I asked her to go check on James and the boys, and return my things to the other room since I only had this room for one night-

handsome boys, but what it up with the hair! i did not say anything to DH- just let it go--
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3585.jpg

and DH all ready-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3586.jpg

At this point Randy had gotten to the room with the boys, snapped a few pictures and headed with Joann back to my room-we took a few pictures in the room and headed out for the big reveal in the lobby- On the way we met the floral people who had my bouquet- It was pretty, smelled absolutely wonderful but not exactly my vision-i think I figured out it was the more purple color of the peony, instead of it being more pink- but oh well- i was not letting it stress me i was excited, mostly awake and ready to see my future husband--

Waiting in the lobby for the go ahead--

My dad had Evan in the stroller so he wouldnt get in the way of Randy taking pictures-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3602.jpg

We finished up pictures around the BC entrance-the flowers were beautiful out there- and headed to the limo- it picked us up at about 7:30- so we could have about and hour to snap away in Epcot-

Joann and Dad rode in the limo with us- the where our team- Dad had Evan, Ryne and Kyle and Joann took almost all of these pictures! Thank God we had them both!

the limo ride to Epcot-
glad to have water in the limo-it was already hot out-though coffee would've been better and the boys ate some cereal-hungry boys are never well behaved! At least this will hold them over for a little while!

Sandy!! You looked so beautiful!! Your hair and makeup were absolutly gorgeous and perfect!! And all of your men were absolutely dashing! The picture of the five of you walking away with you and DH holding Evan's hands and your gown flowing behind you made me cry. What a beautiful, beautiful memory of the five of you walking off into your future together. :cloud9:

Can't wait to see more!
Thank you Cam, you are too sweet!

You looked so beautiful! And you have such handsome sons. I hope they weren't too upset about having to wear tuxes, because they were so cute.
Thanks! They didnt even bat an eye at wearing them! Shoes-now that was a different story-no stiff tux shoes- the 2 youngest wore Crocs and the oldest black skate shoes!

Sandy,

they are awesome!!! You have such a beautiful family!
Thank you very much!

Beautiful. And I love your hair! It is exactly what I want for mine! Do you mind if I use a picture of it as my inspiration picture?

Can't wait for more!
Absolutely, please use it!

HAPPY 1 MONTH ANNIVERSARY!

Sandy,
Just catching up on your TR (just got back from our VR). Great family pics at the BC, your boys are just adorable! I can definitely relate with the whole hair and makeup thing, I'm not use too wearing that much makeup either. I'm a no makeup, stick my hair in a ponytail, soccer mom kinda of girl! It was weird for me to wear makeup and false lashes, it was definitely a first for me! :goodvibes

Hi Sandy, Just catching up after my trip. Any shots in Italy during the rehearsal? O'hanas looked like a blast; it must have been so much fun with all the kids! I like seeing the Disney Bride logo again :goodvibes

The hardest thing about the Epcot ceremonies is the early morning wake-up :upsidedow That's great that you didn't have to pay for your dress to be steamed.

It looks like you've gotten a lot of great shots from Randy already. Maybe he didn't send you high resolution copies yet. Are they fuzzy when you open them on your computer too?

Unfortunately we did not get pictures of the rehearsal:eek: I know what was i thinking! O'hanas was great, everyone had a blast! Thank you for the logo!

The early morning was tough 2 days in a row! Although I think it really didnt hit me until friday-2 days after the wedding!

Randy was going on vacation and Linda has said they didnt have everything back from the lab- so he sent 2 CD's so we could see pictures :confused3 they are not on his website yet--so maybe that is it!

Why is it that Disney Photography doesnt let you pick out what pictures you want in the album from the MK shoot:confused3 ???

Most of what they picked was OK but there is one that DH hates, our photographer insisted we take a couple without his glasses-he always wears glasses--and of course they put one of those in the album:mad:

You'd think for the $$$ it costs and for only 12 pictures it would be nice to let us pick them out!

ok rant over!:sad2:

I am not happy with the Disney photo shoot service either. I still haven't even heard from them about my pictures being posted or haven't gotten the pictures yet. The only reason I found the pictures on the website is because I guessed the username and password from past brides on the board. That doesn't seem right does it? I am sorry you are not happy with the pics they picked for you. I am wondering which ones they will choose for us. I can't believe they don't let guests pick their own pictures. That is definitely not the way to run a photo business. :sad2: They are way, way, way too overpriced too! I am usually happy with Disney services, but this photo stuff is insane! They do let you pick them - you just have to know to ask. :sad2: The only people who don't get to pick are UK Escape brides cuz they are given a disc of pictures and the portfolio to take with them when they leave WDW.

This happened to us too. They never notified us that our pix were up, so I just guessed our username. And this is only the tip of the iceberg of our problems with them. Our shoot was FIVE months ago and they still haven't resolved our problems with the photos.

CEREMONY!
My dad brought DH grandmother down the aisle-(btw,that is the water station they set up)

Then DH and Rev Jack came out-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3668.jpg
Waiting on my arrival
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3669.jpg

After hiding in my corner, we moved to the edge of the building in preparation for my big reveal-

DS, ringbearer had his big moment first- in order to get him to go down the aisle I told him to go give daddy the pillow, he looked at me, looked like he thought about it a minute and took off- and I mean took off!!! As fast as his little legs would go he ran down the aisle, went up the steps and THREW the pillow at DH, promptly turned around and ran just as fast back to me!:lmao: :rotfl: It was hilarious--

On the way down-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/SJ04846-18-08edited.jpg
and the way back-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/2323232327Ffp5333A3A3Evq3D33683E543.jpg

Next after everyone composed themselves the older boys escorted me down the aisle to meet my future husband-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/100_3670-1.jpg
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/of50590442.jpg

they were so sweet, they both kisses me and the ceremony began-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/ceremony1.jpg

The boys did various things during the ceremony! DS2 wandered a bit, DS7 joined him for a while, DS11 acted good for most of the time! The good thing was they were never disruptive-- well DS2 had a moment-more to come...
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/SJ05366-18-08edited.jpg

DS7-checking out the sand ceremony-
http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg267/sjrke/SJ05556-18-08edited.jpg
Now I was not nervous at all, until Rev Jack says "right now your heart is beating fast and you're a little nervous" and I thought no I'm not- but the power of suggestion and my heart started to pound and I think this is when I realized how hot it was the sun was beating on us and the sweat was literally RUNNING down my legs.
So I was glad we got to do something to take my mind off of that-so on with the rings

Sandy,

You son is adorable. I can just see him running down the aisle and back, lol. What an adorable memory you will always have. I cannot imagine how hot some of these lovely dresses are in the summer heat of Disney (even as early as it was). Can't wait for more!!!!

Oh, Sandy, you certainly had a memorable ceremony and it is wonderful that the boys were such a big part of it. I love how you had the sand represent your birthstones, definitely more thought out than randomly picking colors like I did :rotfl: How did your sand stay separated on your way home? Probably because you drove I'm guessing because ours is all mixed up.

The staged exit shot is really great, I love how you did a group shot too.

I was pleased with the way the colors looked- they filled the rest of the container with sand and it came with a stopper-foamy type thing so the sand bearly shifted at all.

OMG, your pics were gorgeous and Italy made such a stunning backdrop! There wasn't a bad one in the bunch! I don't know how you are going to pick!

The thing I love the most about the outside photographers is they tell a story with their pictures from the beginning to the end. I really felt like I was there! Sandy, I've only made it through half your photos so far, but wow, they turned out amazing!

The World Showcase is such a perfect spot for wedding pictures, althought I might be bias on that one ;) It's neat to see the comparison of the different shots we each ended up with from our weddings.

I'm jealous you got some great twirl shots (my dress was heavy and wouldn't budge) and some neat ones in Germany (that was our last stop and we were getting rushed out at that point.)

Also, there are some sweet pictures of the boys and I love the group shots. Those are the memories that will live on forever. I just got one of our group shots blown up to an 11x14 and I can't wait to hang it up!

I have a question for you from way back when.

I remember you had made menu cards for the adults and kids. I love the ones you made for the adults and I made some along the same lines.

The ones for the kids was also great and I just found a copy of one in your PJ. My question is, how did you get such a good shape for the Mickey head? I would love to do something along those lines but am terrible at cutting.

I also would love to do Mickey fan programs but again there is the cutting issue. I was wondering if you could let me know how you did the cutting.

I just love everything you have done. We are getting married this November in Italy (but in the front by the water) and reading your journals has given me so many great ideas.

Thanks,
Linda
