Hi guys,
I know this has been asked before but I am struggling to find the information on here.....
We are looking to book a villa for Feb 2009 preferably on Formosa Gardens. Could you remind me which websites you have used/can recommend?? and also, which other 'communities' are comparable to Formosa Gardens as we did really like it there but availabillity on the smaller villas seems hard to find......
Thanks in advance,
Ali :goodvibes

Hi Ali,
Generally the websites I recommend are:
www.vr360homes.co.uk
www.villas2000.com
www.holiday-rentals.com
Very familiar with many of the areas of Kissimmee, especially Formosa Gardens and Poinciana Boulevard.
Do you want to stay in the Formosa area or actually at Formosa Gardens development itself?
You are after a smaller home, many on FG are 5, 6 bedroomed and bigger.
Want to hear what I think?
We have spent hours and hours searching over the years for villas, personally and kind of against what we have done in the past I try and find one now with communal facilities such as Windsor Palms, Emerald Island and Terre Verde - the latter at the slightly less popular Poinciana location is where we are staying for part of our holiday next year.
If I was fortunate to be building a new villa development I would ensure there was a community area for the feel of a 'resort' rather than just a home on a nice area.
Anyway the websites above should help and you can search by community also.
Any help or advice let me know. Good luck. :)

Thanks for your reply Johnny!
I guess we are looking for something a little different from you as in, we are not too bothered about communal facilities but do just like a nice house in a nice area!!!
We would REALLY like a house actually on FG again but like you say they do tend to be 5,6 & 7 beds. My parents came with us last time so it wasn't a problem.......
Thanks for all your advice, will check out those links and let you know how we get on!
Cheers,

No problem.
Our needs have kind of changed, it's mainly as we struggle to get Joshua out of the pool later in the day.
'Communal facilities' of somesort just gives us something on-site as it were, that's the only reason really.
Not that Terre Verde having a 'tiki bar' has affected my decision. ;)

Hi Chatham Park is a great community close to Disney less then 10 minutes and also very close to the highway 192 which is full or resturants , shops and entertainment , a good web site to find chatham park villas is villas2000 if you click on kissimmee area you will then get a list of all the community then click on Chatham park . They are not brand new homes but all homes are kept at a high standard and because they are older property's the rooms will be bigger and the pool area can be larger . I hope this helps you in your search .

Hi Ali
I'm not sure when your planning on going to Formosa Gardens, but we have used these two websites before without any problems and both have 4 bedroom homes within formosa gardens estates.
www.villatorent.net - Owner Philip Stewart
http://www.lowe.seriouslyinternet.com - Owner Ken Lowe
The latter website has pictures that are slightly out of date, but overall the villa is fine, due to the photos being a few years out of date the pool picture shows the pool exposed to the street, however, this isn't the case as the conifers have grown to form a hedge that blocks the road quite well.

Paul

Also in the Formosa Gardens Area are Indian Creek and Windsor Hills and both communities have an owners website www.indiancreekflorida.com and www.windsorhills.com . These communites are the closest to Disney
