Hello fellow WISHers & DISers!
I'm Cristabel and I'm a 19 year old college student. This journal is to track my progress of exercise, weight, and size. I currently weigh 262!:scared: That is ridiculous! I refuse to be this big any longer! :sad2:
Goals:
* Lose 110lbs
* Get physically fit
* Wear size 8
Hi, I'm in need of some extra motivation from my fellow Disney friends.:grouphug:
I recently completed 144 miles in 12 weeks for an agreement I made with my dad.
Now I'm going to the gym or working out at home 3-4 days a week.

Today it was TOO hot and I was TOO tired to walk home. So I came home and slept:cloud9:. I'll be going to the gym later in the evening. Around this time it starts to get packed just up until 7:30 - 8pm.
Food
- 1.5 cups of honey bunches of oats
- 1 cup of milk
- 0.5 of a banana
- 1 cup goldfishes
- 1.5 cup of juice
- PB & J on wheat bread with organic peanut butter and strawberry jam/jelly
- 5 strawberries
- 1.5 c. of milk
- 3 corn quesadillas (pepperjack cheese)
- 1 c. of juice
I don't know what's for dinner yet since my mom hasn't started cooking yet but it's probably healthy.

You are on your way to a healthier you! Congrats! :goodvibes
What helps me stay on track is to weigh myself once a week no matter what! In addition this Wish Journal is a fantastic idea writing down your food intake is another great way to see how you can improve on your healthy living. Dont think of it as a diet think of it as a way of life and a lifestyle change
Jillian Michaels has a great free podcast on itunes, i like listening to her once a week to keep me motivated as well.

I went to the gym tonight, WAY too late, and I had only planned on doing four miles but I ended up completing six:cool1:. I had to switch of the elliptical and go to the bike because my right, lower calf (near my ankle) was hurting. When I walk, my right ankle goes inward and it hurts after awhile. I think I might need shoes that will hold my ankle snugly so it doesn't wobble.
I'm tired, off to bed. Work @ 8!:scared1:

Cristabel...Excellent start towards a healthier you!! :thumbsup2
My one bit of advice is watch the amount of juice you drink. There is LOTS of sugar in juice and tha calories add up. Try replacing the juice (or at least one serving) with water to start. It'll make a difference!! :goodvibes
I look forward to tracking your progress and mine along with you. :woohoo:

Nice job with your journal! I'm gonna make a couple comments on your food intake...watch the peanut butter because it has tons of calories and fat, even though it can be good for you. And I agree with DisneyObsession, watch the juice, if you are drinking "real" juice. Try switching to Crystal Light (or something similar) and then drinking mostly water. Also, do you count the calories or anything of what you eat? If not, it might be a good idea to start just so you can see how many you are actually eating...it could be more or less than you think. You don't want to undo all the great effort you're putting in exercise wise by eating too much. And also, eating too little can stall your weight loss. Just some tips.
Reading your journal is making me think of writing one myself. Oh and I'm 5'3", 209 lbs (as of this morning), recent grad school graduate searching desperately for a job in speech language pathology.

Yeah, I'm starting to cut down on the juice. If I do have any it's half water, half juice and it's Mott's for Tots juice which has half the sugar of regular juice. Thank you for the encouragement!

The PB&J has to cease for a bit, I agree. I'm just glad we don't get the jiffy with all those preservatives but all organic. I don't want to use crystal light because all those chemicals (also found in anything diet) are not helpful to me so I'm just sticking with lemon & cranberry water. It's dull but it helps me get by. Thanks for the encouragement & advice!

I've complete my mileage for this week and made up for last week as well! I have complete 17 miles this week! I did five on Monday, six on Tuesday, and six today!
I made a good food decision today! Instead of eating Carl's Jr. with my neighbor, I waited and ate healthy Thai food with my family:goodvibes. My sister and I went to Target and Mervyns to buy exercise shorts. I found three pairs that are cotton and don't ride:thumbsup2.

Don't let yourself get overwhelmed with the big picture of how much weight you want to lost. Try to break it up into small mini-goals, like 10 or 15 lbs, and then reward yourself with something, like a new book or a movie night or whatever you see fitting at the time. I'm trying to take it little by little, but I know personally that when I think that to hit a reasonable weight that I'd be super happy at, I would have to lose 50-60 lbs and it seems like it would never happen.
Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone!
Things are going ok, could be better. Monday I ate horribly, we had a birthday at work and the camper's mom brought cupcakes. Thankfully they were the mini ones. I did walk two miles around my old school track. Today I only ate one horrible thing at lunch. At work, I only had one 5 oz cup of juice:thumbsup2.
I walked three miles today on the track and it hurt! My shoe gave my left ankle a blister and the top of my right foot was burning. I really need to get insoles and better shoes.
I've tried the hard insoles but they cut up my feet. My mom told me about the ones she uses and that they will get me a pair soon (sport chalet isn't nearby). I also want to talk to my DSis's DBF about what shoes he would recommend for me since I am overweight, with basically no arches, and walking at least 12 miles a week. He used to work at Lady Foot locker and he's a personal trainer, so he knows his stuff.
I know, I know, I have a personal trainer in my midst and I bet you may be asking WHY DON'T YOU HAVE HIM TRAIN YOU?
Well, that would just be awkward:scared:. First of all, he's a my DSis' DBF, second it is too much personal information exchanged.:upsidedow
I almost didn't make it to three miles today. Walking on a track is so much harder than doing an elliptical or bike. I was thinking so I don't get burned out of either one, I would alternate between gym and outdoors/school track. Also walking on the actual ground helps build my stamina.
Tomorrow, I'm going to exercise double time! I'm going to the gym after work and then I'll be walking my dog around 6pm at the school track and field. I've come to an agreement with my older DSis, I told her I would walk Osita MWF but she had to agree to walk her TTH.
All in all my week is going pretty good. I'm hoping, a little doubtful, to see a small weight loss on Friday.

Hi Great job getting motivated. I love the miles idea. I have a treadmill in the garrage but is sooooooooooo hot in there (i'm in CA). I'm unable to bring it in the house, so i use my gazelle.
BTW_ i dont like cystal light either. I use to drink it and read an article on it. Then it made sense why i was getting sick all the time weird headaches and upset stomach. I'm just so glad i read about it. I did better with carb solutions(think thats the name) made with splenda. Keep up the good work

Alright I've been ok this week, could do better!
Only did 1.75 miles today because my dog was acting crazy and it was getting too dark:sad2: . I'll do 2.25 tomorrow at the gym to make an even 4 miles for two days.
Now that I'm planning a WDW vacation, I have even more motivation to lose weight and get fit, who says Disney doesn't do any good?
That's right folks, Cristabel & Co. are planning a trip to WDW in January 2010! Only 1.5 years:scared:

Another week has gone by and it was BAD. I ate horribly and didn't reach my mileage:sad2: It was so crazy with my parents gone and me having to take care of my baby sister.
I'm getting back on track tomorrow by eating right and going to the gym. I had been going to my elementary school track but it gets boring:headache:...FAST. I like that at the gym I can switch between elliptical, treadmill, bike, or stairclimber (murder!) and still know my mileage!:thumbsup2
A goal that I MUST accomplish each day is to drink 130 ounces of water a day (about 17 cups a day!) and eating at least 3 fruits and vegetables because I know that helps A LOT. I'm also going to try out Jay Robbs' 3-day fruit diet, it's a great way for me to jump start my metabolism and lose 3-5 lbs.:wizard: Now that's magic!
Have a wonderful night! I'll post sometime midweek!

I did 5 miles last night!:cool1:
I'll be doing another 5 tonight as well.
I'm starting Jay Robb's fruit flush 3-day diet. For three days I can only eat fruit. I'm excited because I can easily lose 5lbs on this diet. This is the beginning of my lifestyle change. After Friday, no more burgers, fries, soda, or sweets. It's all healthy eating from then on! I'm excited!
I've also agreed to the challenge of drinking half my weight in water (in ounces!) That's about 17 glasses of water and I'm already 4/17 for today! I've already done all my chores and now I can be lazy, until exercise tonight!:laundy:I'm pooped.

I didn't even make it to the gym yesterday! I was SO tired that I slept from 6:30p - 8:30p and when I did wake up I felt nauseous:sick: Today I started the Jay Robb 3-day fruit flush. Day 1 require me to drink 6 oz of protein shake (protein powder and water) every 2 hours from 8-4pm. Let me just say by 4pm, I was forcing myself to drink the shake it was so gross (too watery!) and at 6pm I could eat a real meal! I had 6 oz of chicken breast, lettuce, tomato slices, and home-made salsa. :woohoo:I never knew I could want chicken so badly:lmao:
Things I SHOULDN'T have eaten::mad:
- 1 corn tortilla
- 2 chocolate covered almonds
- about 10 cheese-its (stinky snacks)
- 2 tbs of beans
I went to the gym directly after work, a good way to make sure I get it done, and completed 5 miles! I'm proud of myself because I completed 1 mile on the treadmill at one time. I usually have to stop the treadmill shortly after because my foot starts hurting, but I sucked it up today and completed 1 entire mile on the machine of death! Then I completed the other 4 miles between the elliptical and bicycle. On the bike I did "random hill" OMG my legs and booty were KILLING me. My legs felt like jell-o!
I really need to get the super feet insoles because I can definitely feel the pain in my feet today as compared to Monday's work-out.
Now I want to incorporate some weights to get rid of my flabby arms and gut!
Tomorrow is day 2 of the fruit flush and I get to eat fruit all day long!

I think you'll find that any type of weight loss journey is a learning curve, with 2 steps forward and one step back.
I would like to offer a word of caution: talk to your doctor before doing those flushes. The only reason they work is they good rid of water weight- they are extremely unhealthy and are hard on your body. Your body does not need them. The key is to make small sustainable changes instead of going for fast fixes. Research has shown that the slower it takes to lose the weight the more likely you are to take it off.
Your exercise goals are amazing, and it's so cool that you are able to walk multiple miles in a day. If you are worred about your ankle, you might want to try going to an athletic shoe store. I've heard that many are good at fitting you with shoes to correct an improper gait. Good luck with your journey!

Thanks for the encouragement and advice. This fruit flush isn't hard on my body but is meant for only 3 days to detox the liver and kidneys. They don't recommend you doing it more than that. I'm not going for a fast fix because I know there is no such thing. I'm just using it to jump start my change of eating habits.

Pretty much every medical expert will tell you that detox isn't needed- your kidneys and liver do the detoxing just fine without any help, in fact, some of these diets can be dangerous. Here is a good article about it: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,214802,00.html
I have read dozens of similar articles as well. That is why I am always a little wary when I hear somebody trying these without consulting a doctor.

Hi there Cristabel, I'm also on a journey to good health! I think you are doing a great job by posting here. It helps us to be accountable. I know the feeling you mentioned about messing up occasionally. Sometimes I ask myself, "Why in the world did I eat that?" We all fall off the wagon sometimes and it is OK, just get back on and forgive yourself.
Try to continue eating as healty as you can because your body needs it now that you are exercising.
Wow, 3 miles walking is awesome:banana: I bet you feel good when you finish your walk.
Don't get discouraged about what you need to lose. I am trying to lose 5 pound increments at a time otherwise, I will be overwhelmed. I started at 200+ in April today I am 186 (last weigh in on Sat.) and hopefully will continue to lose to feel even better than I do right now.

Hi everyone out there in the DIS world!
Today was an okay day. I did slip up and eat a cupcake and two chocolate chip cookies but the good thing was I ate within my calorie range. I also went to the gym and did 3 miles and I burned the calories from eating those two cookies.
I did 2.11 miles on the elliptical, straight through and then .89 on the bicycle. I worked up a great sweat!:scared: And that is exactly how my face looked:lmao:
I'm going to do the fruit flush again Wed - Fri. This time it's going to be easier. Don't worry ladies, I'll explian the 3-day fruit flush plan in my next post right after this update. If you would like to do some 'research' on its creator just go to jayrobb.com
He's really great! My sister just ordered two more books from him. I believe one is the fat burning diet. I'm so excited to see where I am in two more months. Hopefully I'll be a size 20, maybe smaller if I can get my act together and start strength training, targeting my stomach and back muscles first, I need a strong core!

My suggestions and comments will be in red.
Here it is!
Jay Robb's 3-Day Fruit Flush!
Four Ways to Utilize the FRUIT FLUSH 3-Day Detox:
1. FRUIT FLUSH FOR FAT LOSS:
Perform the three-day FRUIT FLUSH once a week for up to 12 consecutive weeks. This will have you cleansing and revitalizing your body three out of seven days each week for up to 12 straight weeks. If you are cleansing to lose weight on this program, you should lose up to 9 pounds the first week and 2 pounds each week thereafter, until you reach your goal weight. I can totally vouch for this statement! I lost 7lbs after the first week so it's easily possible to lose 9lbs but everybody is different.
2. FRUIT FLUSH FOR LIFE:
Perform the FRUIT FLUSH once or twice a month throughout your lifetime-if you so desire.
3. FRUIT FLUSH TUNE-UP:
If you have slipped off your diet and/or have been eating the wrong foods (i.e., during holidays or at special events), then the FRUIT FLUSH is a great way to quickly cleanse your system and get you back on target.
4. FRUIT FLUSH FOR A FRESH START:
Prior to beginning an exercise program or starting a new diet, you may want to cleans your body first with the FRUIT FLUSH. It can get you off to a great start!
Day 1: PRE-FLUSH
Mix 1 and 3/4 cup of whey protein or egg white protein powder (your flavor of choice) *Pick a good flavor or one you don't mind because you might get sick of it fast! with 1 quart (32 ounces) pure water. Shake, blend (definitely blend, it tastes so much better), or stir, and store in a sealed container in a cool place. The protein powder you choose must NOT BE sweetened with added carbohydrate or contain artificial sweeteners. This means it MUST NOT CONTAIN: aspartame, fructose, sucrose, evaporated cane juice, sucralose, malodextrin, sugar, corn syrup, corn sweeteners, barley malt, molasses, agave, or brown sugar. The protein powder you choose should also contain approximately 24 grams of protein per ounce serving. If you choose an egg white protein, you may wish to add the herb stevia to naturally enhance the perceived sweetness without increasing carbohydrate content. Before pouring each class of protein as outlined below, lightly shake or stir the container to remix the protein drink.
Shopping Tips: Choose a high-quality protein powder that tastes good. Avoid the bargain brands that may save you a buck or two but can taste like chalk and are often filled with aspartame, sucralose, fructose, sugars, acesulfame-K, acesulfame potassium, and artificial flavors and colors. the body is a temple of the spirit. it deserves only the best. I also suggest purchasing organically grown foods whenever possible.

During the entire three days of the FRUIT FLUSH, you should become slightly hungry every 2 hours, at which time you will eat. This eating pattern fuels your body and keeps you from ever being overly hungry. On Day 1, the series of protein drinks will stoke your metabolism, lower your glycogen levels, and force your body to burn fat as part of its energy needs. On Days 2 and 3, fruit will power your body while cleansing and purifying the cells and organs. Plus, the protein drinks and fresh fruit are high in water content, which, in turn, will help keep your system hydrated.
If you have any questions please ask and I'll check his Q & A section in the book.

I ate great today! I stayed within my calorie range with healthy food! I went to the gym late but I went! I did my 3 miles on the elliptical and bike. I was actually "running" on the elliptical today! I didn't hold on and pumped my arms as if I was running outside.
That's all for today, my weigh in is on Saturday.:goodvibes

I was able to sleep in a bit and used my will power to get up and go the gym with my sister. I did my 3 miles and it was SO hot in the gym, I think the A/C might have been out. I showered and changed over there since my dad is still '2319' from his radiation treatment on Monday.

Hey everyone!
I haven't been on in SOOO long. I was on vacation last Thursday until Tuesday. It was exactly what I needed, I slept in and my tension headaches were greatly reduced but I barely had any activity over there and ate not so good things. But I wouldn't have traded it for anything! It was great seeing my family. I didn't even bother weighing in Saturday.
I have to complete 2 weeks of mileage in 3 days! Tonight I did 8.25 miles and I'm beat.
I tried doing the fruit flush and it's so wierd, it's so hard to keep to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th... time around. So I ate the worst thing, a burger and fries. But don't worry I did get a diet coke :headache: But that's pretty much I ate all day. The rest of the day I had nasty protein shakes.
I had an interview for a job at Kohl's today, they are opening one about 2 minutes from my house. Seriously! It's up the street.
I really felt the burn during tonight's workout, it's been awhile. I lost the muscle definition in my thighs :sad2: I'll have to work double time to get it back!

Happy Friday (now Saturday) to you all. I weigh in (technically) today, later probably around 9-10am. With all that I ate and how little activity I got, I'm hoping to be the same as I was two weeks ago, if not a bit less (I'd love -0.5) I just don't want to gain!
Breakfast
2 eggwhites
1 whole egg
2 slices turkey
2 slices whole wheat toast
1/2 c. juice
Lunch
2 slices white bread
2 slices turkey
2 slices ham
1 tsp mayo
1 tbsp mustard
lettuce
tomato
Dinner
charbroiled bbq chicken sandwich 360
diet coke 0
Dessert:headache:
twix 250
1/3 chocolate muffin 233
1 c. milk 70
I was able to stop myself and throw away the rest of that forsaken muffin. After eating I bit, intending on eating it all, I saw that it had 700 calories! That's ridiculous, so I tossed it!
So total today, I'm estimating around 1500-1600 calories intake. Not too bad, thankfully.
I burned 520 calories at the gym (completed 6.5 miles)
good day, i guess.
I'm so excited for tomorrow! We're going to a place called roadrunners (http://www.roadrunnersports.com/) and they have all this equipment and tests to make sure you get the correct shoe for your body. It's really cool. I ate more than my metabolic rate! So I went to the gym, with my new shoes, and burned 600 calories.
If I want to lose 2lbs a week, I need to burn 1400 calories a day. So I'll be reducing my intake and burning 600-700 calories per day. I don't want to focus on the logistics or then I get overwhelmed.
All I know is I have to eat less and workout five days a week.

Today was great day!
I ate 1291 calories, just shy of 1300! I burned 300 at the gym, completing 4 miles!:cool1: I feel great! Now I'm so tired! I started school today and it was really busy but I think it will be a great semester.
I'm going to start training outside because Nuts for Mutts is having a "5K walk with your dog" in October! I also want to participate in the CHOC walk at Disneyland. I would do the 5K at my city's marathon, but I'm working it:rolleyes:
I applied to Mervyns, Lane Bryant, and Petco. I'm really hoping to get called back by Lane Bryant because I buy their clothes all the time. It's a bit pricey so a discount wouldn't hurt. They said they needed people to work mornings and afternoons M-F and I told the lady that I could work MWFS and she said that it might work. So I filled out the application and gave it directly to the store manager and introduced myself. I really need to pay off my credit card debt and start saving for when I move out next February.
On Saturday, I organized my closet by size and for each group of sizes I would tie ribbon around it with a note card stating - 1 size, - 2 sizes, - 3 sizes. I have clothes down to a size 16! That's crazy! I guess I never throw clothes away. I want to skip size 20 altogether and hit 18 because I have way more clothes for that size than any other:laughing:
I'm going to start training outside with my dog because I want her to be well-behaved for our 5k in October. I have to go to Petco or another pet store and buy a choke collar and chain leash. She's already bitten through two regular leashes.

Okay, I have had some bad days this week (Today and yesterday). I have cheated and feel reallly bad about it!
After eating an incredibly unhealthy breakfast & late morning snack, I went to the gym and burned 505 calories and completed 4.5 miles.
I have started run/walk on the treadmill. I'm actually gaining more stamina each time I go the gym. Before I would do 3 minutes walk, 1 minute run and now I'll walk to burn 15 calories and run to burn 15 calories. I did 1.5 miles on the treadmill in addition to the required 3 miles (bike & elliptical)
I have started to lose my 'hello-goodbyes' (under arm flab) and my muscle is becoming more noticeable.:goodvibes
I'm currently 251 and I'm hoping to lose 1-2 lbs this week so I can say GOODBYE to the 250s. I'm not too confident I will lose that much because of said bad eating. STUPID FAST FOOD:headache:
My next mini-goal is to be a complete ONE size smaller, a size 20, but I'll take a minus 2 sizes if I can get it:laughing: I have a lot of clothes for size 18. I also want to be in my 230s by my October trip, even if it's 239.
That's all for now. I'm leaving soon to go swimming, another chance to work out my arms.

Today I completed 4.75 miles. 1.75 of those miles I did as a walk/run on the treadmill. Who would have ever thought I would be running?:confused3
It's great though.
I ate 1455 calories and burned 505 at the gym. I'm really tired right now and I KNOW I'll be feeling this workout in the morning.

So, I've made an important decision.
In addition to the Nuts for Mutts 5k on October 19th, I've decided to do the 5k run/walk for The City of Santa Clarita Marathon (my city!) on November 2nd, which is also my 20th birthday. What a better way to celebrate another year of life than by living! I'm so excited! :cool1:
For training, I'll be walking outside and running at the gym because I have bad knees and don't want to hurt myself. The majority of the marathon is on trails, which is good because pounding on concrete hurts!
Wish me luck, girls!
It gets better, I'm hoping we'll be home, showered and dressed by 9:30am and I want to go to....where else?...DISNEYLAND. Yeah, we'll be pretty tuckered out but I want to have my birthday breakfast in Disneyland!

Ok, tonight's run went pretty well.
I managed to complete 1.88 miles in 30 minutes, almost 15 minutes a mile. I need to get to at least 14 minute miles for the 5k in November. It's a run/walk and I get a medal at the end. In total (3 miles) I burned 500 calories.
I would have loved to have placed (def. 3rd) but that would mean I would need to run 7 minute miles. Yeah, like that's going to happen in two months:rolleyes: I'm just glad to be doing this and I don't want to come in last. That would be embarrassing. But I doubt I would because they have 60 year old women who walk the whole course (yeah, that's inspiring:lmao:)
Today I ate within the range 1340 - 1410. Pretty good!

do not quit!!!! consistency is key in long term weight loss not everyday u r going to b perfect with diet and exercise be good 90% of the time and allow yourself to cheat......do not get discouraged your mom is right....i highly suggest taking your measurements once a mth and only step on the scale once a week 2 measure your progress.....a tape measure is a better indicator of your success than the scale do not get fixated on the scale numbers but focus on the inches lost on the tape measurer trust me! :thumbsup2

She has 2..One is called Jillian Michaels "The Biggest WINNER" Its a 5 disc set where each workouts is approx 30 minutes! I have seen fantastic results with it
Her other workout is the 30 day shred which is 3 20 minute workouts...
love them both but i love the biggest winner more!
After watching The Biggest Loser season premiere and week two, I really want to try Jillian's workouts! I'm seriously considering starting to do 2-a-day workouts, once in the morning and the gym at night. I used to do that when I was younger and I lost weight and size very quickly.
Thanks for the advice!!!!

Hello! I just found your journal and wanted to congratulate you!!!!!!!!!
You wanted some inspirations, so here's some for you. I have a good friend who has always been heavy, smallest I've seen her in the past 20 yrs is probably a size 16. She's been gaining and gaining and gaining and in January she stopped gaining, took the weight loss thing seriously and is now losing! She quit smoking, drinking and eating in January and has steadily lost 1-3 lbs per week, every week and is down 105lbs with about 45 left to go! When she started she was "bursting out of a size 28" her words;) and now she's in an 18! She had done Weight Watchers years ago and still follows some of that, but what she does is counts calories. Monday, Tues, Wed. Thursday she eats 1200 calories, 300 breakfast, 400 lunch and 500 dinner. On Friday Sat and Sunday she eats 1500 calories, 400 breakfast, 500 lunch and 600 dinner. She eats nearly zero empty calories. She eats tons of veggies, calls herself a bulk eater! She eats lots and lots of healthy food.
I am so incredibly proud of her. She is such an inspiration to me.
I started on August 15, on weight watchers on-line. I was 227.5lbs on that day. Today I'm 212lbs. Fifteen lbs in a month! I'm proud of me and motivated to keep it up! So far its just the food for me, not doing the excercise yet, but I've signed up for classes that start Oct. 9. You are doing so great with your excercise!!! Keep up the good work!

WOW! That's amazing! Congrats to you & your friend on the weight loss. I like the idea of changing up the calories during the week, I bet it helps keep your body from hitting a plateau.
Thank you for the encouragement!

After talking with my parents, expressing my concerns about the 5k in November, I've decided not to take part in the event.
After running outside a couple times last week, my knees hurt really bad. I'm afraid if I do this 5k I could seriously injure myself and set myself back in my weightloss or injure myself for life.
I'm postponing any running events until I lose a significant amount of weight.

I almost forgot I had my WISH journal!
Well, last week I lost another 5lbs!
I'm down to 244! :woohoo:
Today has been my best Monday yet!
I woke up at a decent hour, did all my chores in an hour, ate a healthy breakfast and already did my exercise. :goodvibes
Albeit, it was only 30 minutes but it was hot outside & it was all mostly up hill. :scared:
I took my dog for a walk...not so much a good idea when she isn't fixed yet and your neighborhood is full of non-exercised, mean, frustrated dogs who want to kill anything passing their gate.
Cesar Millan could make tons of money if he just focused on my neighborhood:idea:

Very awesome! I love hearing stories like this. It makes me feel good to know that others are or were in the same situation as me and found the determintation to lose the extra weight.
Thanks for sharing.

Sorry I haven't update in awhile, it's been hectic and busy over here.
I lost 4lbs this past week! :woohoo: I'm now down to 238! I can't wait to be in the 220s. I changed up the exercise this past week, swimming instead of run/walking.
But yesterday and today I have eaten like I was starving, I don't know what to make of it. I'm getting back on track tomorrow, that's for sure. I bought some speedo goggles for the pool and I'm really excited to use them because on Thursday I smacked my nose on the bottom of the pool, all because I couldn't see! It hurt SO much.
Well that's all!
Oh I'm wearing a size 14/16 shirt from Lane Bryant now! :goodvibes

This past week has been a whirlwind!
I really failed this week. I only exercise two days (swim on Monday and Disneyland on Wed) so that might actually only be ONE day. I haven't eaten ridiculously because I have not had much of an appetite. I caught some sort of flu/cold bug at Disneyland and I have been feeling terrible. I have a sore throat, coughing, stuffy nose, and on/off again fever. I've been drinking a lot of vitamin water instead of juice and haven't eaten much because it's been hard for me to swallow.
I didn't weigh myself today because I just did not have the energy. I'm hoping it goes away very soon. I worked last night and I have to work again Wednesday so I hope I feel WAY better.
I don't work on Halloween!!! :cool1:

Thank you for the encouragement!
I'm feeling much better than last week but this cough is kicking my butt. I seriously think I'm working out my abs with all this coughing!
In haven't worked out since LAST Monday and I'm sort of dreading going back to it because I'll be so out of shape. In just a week too!
