Anyone flying out of LaGuardia to Orlando on UsAirways---check your flights. A lot of their non-stop flights (maybe all, I'm not really sure) no longer exist. It looks like they are all connecting flights now. At least for Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec. I didn't check every month. Did UsAirways end their direct flights to Orlando?

I noticed that too and though I was going nuts. I would love to know the official word on this. I always fly Delta or US Air. I have read that US Air has cut down on their Express service. I know that US Air Express did many of the direct flights. Delta is running just under $160 for my October trip and December trip. I want the $117 I paid last year.

We usually took direct USAir flights from Syracuse to Orlando - our last trip was last Sept 26th - and the flight was cancelled on us - USAir told us that they were cutting their Metrojet flights - something like 25% cutback. We had to get a new flight hopping into Pittsburgh. I wasn't aware that LaGuardia was affected since it was described to us as affected the smaller markets like Syracuse, Rochester and Albany. We've run into the same thing for this fall. I have relatives who usually can get a direct out of Newark - Continental I think.

All the direct flights from Logan were also cut.
