Post Card?????

I received a post card in the mail with a code on it, that I have used for my reservations. I just wanted to know how I got the post card. Does everyone who has been to Disney World get them? Are we on a mailing list somewhere? Just hope I get another one for December! :pinkbounc Thanks!

I think how you get on the mailing list for postcards seems to be a great mystery - I got my first one this summer after many visits since the opening of the park - there are many different theories here! Can you tell me what dates the new postcard rates are covering? - the one I received didn't apply to my dates - thanks!

We stayed in AS sports in '00 at the last minute. Called Sunday morning at 9am, checked in at 2pm. Stayed for the week.

In '01 we stayed at BC for a conference.

In Feb '02, I got a postcard.

Maybe they were trying to get business stay's to come back for vacations? It worked. Made late plans for this spring. Will never get a better rate. That was the deciding factor.

I received the post card back in March and the dates on it were for 4/21/02 to 6/22/02 so we are using it for May 15-21. We got the POR for 84.00 a night! I thought this was really good!

We stayed on-site twice in 1997, once in 1998 and had Florida resident passes back then. Took a DCL cruise in 2000 and joined the Disney club in 2001. I don't think any of that spurred the e-mail postcard I got. I think it was registering on-line with Disney.com and clicking a box that said I'd be interested in receiving e-mail about specials. BTW, I already had a ressie for June and was able to use the postcard to get a better rate.
