We are booked for a savannah view studio end of July but we were thinking of changing to a larger room and the only 2 bedrooms available are at Saratoga.
Reservations told us there was lots of construction going on 24 hours a day at AK. Is this true and did it bother any of you who recently visited on your trip?

It will be myself and three 10 year olds- .

Thanks for any input.

The construction noise is highly over stated at AKV. Only if you happen to be on the Sunset savanna will it be ANY issue, and even then it isn't likely to bother 10 year olds. If you want to have a respit from them though, I'd vote for the 2 bedroom for sure!!!

3..... 10 yr olds!!!!
God Bless You ?? girls or boys???
SSR is a beautiful resort lots of space to roam and the
pools are great. I haven't been to AKV yet but will be going this Sept.
my guess is that the construction won't bother the kids unless if affects the
pool or recreation area. As a Mom of 3 girls ( grown now ) you may want some more space not to mention the laundry.
Best of Luck :wizard:

SSR is quite beautiful but AKV has such a huge "cool factor," I would keep the one bedroom there versus the two at SSR for a party like yours. I don't think you could go wrong either way. As stated earlier, the construction noise issue is highly overstated, in my opinion and we stayed on the Sunset Savannah.

Thanks everyone for posting- It is three girls and I know they supposedly have to let you know 30 days in advance if you will have the sunset view that has no animals- so I am assuming we have a room with an "animal view". I may go crazy and am praying for good weather so they can spend lots of time at the pool. :)
