The entry from the edge has not elevation...it's like walking into the ocean.... great for little kids and people that might be handicapped

Tina, others have better photos of a zero-entry pool but I thought I would at least post a link to what I personally have. AKL Pool Photo (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/janettwokay/vwp?.dir=/Walt+Disney+World/Animal+Kingdom+Lodge/AKL+Miscellaneous&.src=ph&.dnm=Watering+Hole.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/bc/janettwokay/lst%3f%26.dir=/Walt%2bDisney%2bWorld/Animal%2bKingdom%2bLodge/AKL%2bMiscellaneous%26.src=ph%26.view=t) -- if you look at that photo, the part that looks like a beach is actually the zero-entry portion of the AKL's pool. All the little kids love hanging out there since they can "float" (of course their hands are touching the bottom of the pool, but we parents pretend that our children are "really" floating on their own without any help, just like the big kids do).
If you look at this photo of the GF, the zero-entry area is actually right off the beach: GF Pool Photo (http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/janettwokay/vwp?.dir=/Walt+Disney+World/Grand+Floridian/Pool&.src=ph&.dnm=Warm+Breezes.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/bc/janettwokay/lst%3f%26.dir=/Walt%2bDisney%2bWorld/Grand%2bFloridian/Pool%26.src=ph%26.view=t). Pretty cool how they laid that out right along the beach, huh? Intentional or accidental? (hee hee)
