Two questions that I need help with please:

1. I have booked a room at CBR for 4, DH, DW, DS, & DD, for 7 nights in May. Tonight I received a phone call from a friend asking if her 6 year old daughter could come along (who would otherwise never get to experience WDW). I called CBR to see how much additional it would cost for her and was told that CBR only accomidates 4 people and it is against fire policy to have 5. My question is, the children ages are 10, 7, and 6 - Can I just go ahead and check in and "sneak" the child into my room, or am I doing an absolute no-no and chancing finding myself getting thrown out on my Disney Rear?

Question 2. I went ahead and called the CRO to see if I could switch to POR, which will accomodate a party of 5, and was told the following. I booked the CBR under the CUQ code for $94 a night. The CRO stated that now that the CUQ code has expired, if I wanted to switch to the POR it would cost the original $154 a night. My question - Since I am giving up 7 nights at CBR, which they can sell for the $154 a night rate, isn't it possible to just switch over to POR and keep my $94 a night rate?

Any and ALL replies are GREATLY appreciated. I would love the opportunity for this little girl to experience the magic of WDW, but am not sure about coming up with an extra $500+ to switch rooms.

The sneaking a 5th person in a 4-person max. resort is a debate in and of itself...be prepared for negative responses to this question.

However, I don't know what the details are, but I thought the code was for any moderate resort. I may be wrong, but I think you should call back and insist on speaking to someone who can be more accomodating, maybe a supervisor.

The additional child or person in a room is something that has been heavily debated on these boards...personally I think it comes down to what your comfortable doing....but realize that someone could always turn you in and then you would probably be forced to get another room....

2. Unfortunely the logical that you present with regards to the discount is not the logic that runs discounts and CRO.....

Good luck wit hwhat ever you decide...

Well, you are risking getting yourself thrown out on your Disney rear. :) Seriously, the room occupancy limits are taken very seriously at Disney and if they discover you have five in one room you will have a big problem. Plus there would be no bedding for a fifth person...and not much ROOM for one either.

Have you checked out some other discount possibilities, such as AP rates or if you have Amercian Express, discounts with that? Here is a link to the DIScount page on this site that may help:

DISCount Codes (http://www.wdwinfo.com/content/code1.htm)

Good luck, I hope you have a great trip! :)
