This teacher rate is new to me. I will be teaching as an adjuct instructer in the fall, does this give the rights to a teacher rate? If yes, how do I find out about the rate? What do I have to give them in order to get the rate?

P.S. Are there any other perks for teachers?

As long as your paystub has the name of the school, you're set...

I'm bringing a copy of the contract for one of my evening classes to Dolphin this Nov. The person who took my ressie said that this would do.

We just booked the teachers rate last week. The web link to Swolphin from here had the teachers rate as an option, did not seem to be working the day I tried it. I called the Dolphin directly and the agent said the teachers rate was not in effect for the nights we wanted, I told her the web site did, but we needed two rooms so I thought it would be easier just to book directly. The agent said there were more options on the web site than she had. So I called the Swan, got a great agent and she booked us right in. So... to get the rate, try the web link, try the links right here or call BOTH hotels directly, just keep trying till the web is right or the agent is right. The rate is good for College professors and state employees, you can often get the same prices by pulling down the government choice rate. On a previous trip my husband just showed his college I.D. that lists him as a professor.
