Hi Everyone!
I have a question about the Disney Registry. We have been looking at DVC for a long time. Since we've lived together for 7 years...the question comes up as to whether or not we really NEED anything from a registry. This question was posed by my mom, actually. We're still waiting for him to actually get around to asking...and mom and I have taken the liberty to plan. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :goodvibes
SO, I thought that since we were looking at DVC-is it possible to use Fantasy Funds from the registry toward DVC?
Any insight is greatly appreciated!

My thought is why register for more dishes? Yes, we could use more towels. :rotfl: But what about the gift that keeps on giving??? We love Disney. Have talked about getting DVC for a long time. Why not get it with our wedding $$$.
If we buy a house before the wedding...our travel fund will dwindle. :(
and yes, we might need more stuff...but I love the option of travel! :dance3:

Great question! I wonder if they'd know on the DVC boards?

Since the Honeymoon Registry is basically a gift card, I'm not sure that you can use it to buy in to DVC. You might post on the DVC board and ask if they accept gift cards as a form of payment. I know they won't let you use it to pay your bill to DFTW, but maybe it's different for DVC.
On the other hand, even after you buy in to DVC, you'll still have plenty of expenses when you start staying at WDW - food, APs or park tickets, and entertainment. You can definitely use your Disney Honeymoon Registry gift card for those! :thumbsup2
