Hi all, I'm new to all things Disney and very excited!!:jumping1:
Well I am planning my ADRs with DDP. MY questions are
The gratuity that I am going to pay at ea. TS does it come stated in the bill, do I have to figure it out....how do you know the amount?
Also, the gratuity, can I have it billed to my room card or key (whatever its called) or do I need to have the cash on hand?
Thanks for the help.

When you receive your bill it will have 18 & 20 % suggested gratuity figured for you on the receipt...you just fill in what you would like to leave. You can either use cash (make sure you write "cash" on the tip line and NOT a dollar amount), charge to your room (through your KTTW card), or use another charge card to pay for your tip. Hope this helps! Have fun!

But note that you are not required to tip 18% or 20%. This is only a suggested tip amount. You can give more or less depending on the service you receive. If you feel they deserve more then by all means give more and the same applies in reverse.

You can tips either way, by cash, and by room card. Set up a credit card and charging privledges when you check-in.
Your bill will come with a total for the meal and a suggested tip amount 18% and 20%.
At resturants, you should get two tickets to sign, one for the DDP(which should read zero) and one for the tip and any extras ordered (if you charge tips to your room). My only extra's were adult beverages.
Every waiter will explain the bill without any problem(and some will also remind you the tip is no longer included, especially at a buffet).

It may help to know there is a limit on how much you're allowed to charge on your room key depending on the hotel you are staying at. Once this limit is reached, your room key will not be accepted.
You can avoid problems by visiting the front desk and having them apply the amount on your room key to your "real" charge card, so you have a fresh start on your room key, as you approach your room key limit.
Value resort - $500 limit
Moderate - $1000
Deluxe - $1500
