So i was watching camp rock and at the end where she is performing and she was lip singing but does that mean she could never sing in the first place?? i dont get the plot:confused3

P.S. It was rude of her mom to pick up the phone while she is performing!!

I didn't think she was lip-synching. I thought it was just the background music that was still playing. I'll have to go back and watch it again. I'm pretty sure it was just background music playing though. As in the instruments, etc.

I don't think that she was lip synching either. My mom will not stopping about how mean she was in the movie. Like that is all that she talks about when the subject of Camp Rock comes up.

I really don't know about the lip synching.

Otherwise, I know she was mean, and at times she was just vile. Disney really made her character very well. But at the end, when she was crying, I felt sorry for her. She never sees her mom, which makes her mean. :(

Yes her character was mean, but that was the point. And compared to some other characters in other movies, etc that was pretty tame. :confused3 I don't get what the problem with that is. She was supposed to be like that.

she was just your typical popular diva. I don't think she was lip scnching (sp?) because i have heard her sing in other movies and stuff and she has been really singing. she has a good voice.

No her character wasn't lip-synching. The music stopped when she stopped, plus in the movie before she sang by herself when they were practicing and stuff, with out any background noise. Her character didn't lip-synch.

Her character wasn't lip singing. Or at least it wasn't supposed to seem like she was.
