DC is a program offered by Disney that gets you discounts on various Disney products and others. The best way to see all the benefits is to log on to their site at www.disneyclub.com. I keep my DC membership for the discount on the AP and the discounts in the Downtown Disney stores which I don't get with DVC. Also, the discounts they offer on Dollar car rentals have come in handy.

As for downfalls, the price of joining if you're not going to use the added benefits over your DVC discounts.

The other benefit is that you get the 10% discount through the Disney Catalog and also if you order on-line. DVC only gives discount at the store.

I noticed on the sign-up page for the Disney Club that there are promotional codes for the Disney Club Card. Does anyone know how a Disney Club Card can be purchased for a discount? Thanks for any information.

Thanks for the feedback! You mentioned you get a discount on an AP how about 4,5 day hoppers?

Yes. You get a discount on all types of multi-day entrance passes with your Disney Club card (not sure about single day/one park tickets).

Just my two cents. I dropped DC this year because the discounts weren't good enough over DVC and I bought an annual pass in the last month of my membership.

However...if your family or traveling group is big enough you can justify the cost of the DC membership just on buying 5 or 7 day hoppers alone. The AP discount was $15.90 last year and the 7 day discount was 16.95 (5 day plus was 12.72). So if you buy 3 adult passes it pays for the DC card. Buy anything after that that is unique to the card to actually make it pay. The problem with buying an AP is that there are many duplicates.

I do think the DC card is a good pairing with DVC assuming you don't have an AP.

Yes! to where to get the discount code for the Disney Club card...go to www.mousesavers.com and they have it listed there. It's a 20% savings, about $8 or so.

I gey my disney club card with a corporate number as I work for a large company--It is only 29.99 per year. THis will include Disney Magazine and also an entertainment card that gets a lot of hotel and restaraunt discounts. It pays for itself if you stay one night in a hotel at 50% off. I usually go somewhere other than disney at least once a year. Barb
