Would I do this again? Sure, but I was disappointed. The Characters were the only reason I would try again. The food was pretty good, outside of the prime rib...which was more like dried out meat. Not good! And it was what I was looking forward to the most!!! The other offerings were pretty good. The ham was nice, but the pork loin was pretty dry too. They had pasta options that were pretty good and they have good selections for the kids. The potatoes were awesome! I loved the Au Gratins!!!

The character interaction was nice. We went at 5 p.m. for dinner and got in after aobut a 15-20 minute wait due to the line. Our waiter was great and even brought my daughter Captin Hook and Tinker Bell when she wanted Hook and we wanted her to get Tink as a decoration on her cup.

Sorry to hear that the food wasn't up to par for you. We eat there every trip for dinner on our 1st night and I've never been disappointed. We love the characters but my DS really misses seeing his Chip and Dale there.

The Wave is right where the Concourse Steakhouse was.

Sorry to hear you had a bad food experience, I would give it one more shot. I am a prime rib fan and when we went it was great. I hope if you go again it is a better meal for you!

The characters are the main reason we keep visiting CM also. I love the mashed potatoes :thumbsup2 I have to get myself psyched up to visit this, or any other, buffet because of the germ factor. If you ever sit back and watch kids you can see them sample the food and put it back, sneeze on it, drop it and put it back in, use the same plate multiple times with the serving utensils touching the plate, cough on, etc. etc. With adults it's more subtle... it's what my mind cooks up... did they wash their hands after using the bathroom, did they just change a diaper and not wash their hands, how long has that meat been sitting out, are they changing gloves between meats, etc. etc. After reading what I just wrote I feel like Debbie Downer on SNL :rotfl: Like I said, I do like CM, I just have to be in the right place mentally to enjoy it!!
