We loved the YC...but there is no place to get a hot breakfast without doing a buffet or paying a fortune for french toast. For myself and my husband, this was no problem, but my 16 year old wanted pancakes in the worst way, and we would have to leave the resort to accomadate him. You needed reservations for breakfast at the sit down restaurants as well. Just a thought. Our trip was perfect except the complaining of a 16 year old who has trouble understanding certain thing due to a developmental disability. A quicky hot meal would have done him good. Beaches and cream should expand into Ariel's and maybe have a grill area in the AM. It is so small in there!! It would not however keep us from returning over and over again...we loved it!!!

That was my only complaint about the YC & BC. We loved everything else about it. We are trying the BWI this year and I hope that the Boardwalk offers more. I have heard it does.

At the YC there was (until this past year) the YC Galley restaurant.
You had a buffet offered at breakfast time plus you could order off the menu. The food was great and reasonably priced. Perhaps you should send the YC Resort a letter of your disapppointment! I would be great to have the Galley reopen!

I agree...I could not find a 'quick' bite to eat anywhere at BC.
The Allstars had an awesome food court.

We loved the YC but my DH refuses to stay there again due to the lack of food court type eatery.

We loved the resort last July when we stayed there, but because of the lack of restaurant choices for a quick meal, we are staying elsewhere this year.
We had the fire alarm go off in the middle of the night last year while at the BC & everyone had to go outside for almost an hour. The next day, we heard it was a fire in the Galley kitchen & it was closed after that (but we had just arrived so don't know if it was open before - I'm not sure if that was the real reason for the fire alarm but that is what we heard).
All I know is: Beaches & Cream cannot handle the number of guests it has to between the two resorts & they desperately need another option (IMO).
