Contemporary wing rooms

Hi Everybody! This is my first post, DH and I will be heading to The World Sept. 16-22 and was wondering if anybody out there has stayed in the SOUTH wing (garden view)? I'm pretty sure that's where we'll be, because SOG will be in the North wing, unless they give us a complimentary tower upgrade! I know, wishful thinking, but what better place to do it than WDW!

We stayed in the South Wing in January, and loved it. We were on the back wing, with a terrific view of Bay Lake... we could lie in bed and watch the Electrical Water Pageant...it was great. Also, it really wasn't that far to walk to get to the main tower... and it could all be done under shelter, if you choose. Our room was 6317, which is on the 3rd floor. Enjoy!!!

Hi, we were also there in January, and stayed at the Contemporary's South Wing in room 6114 - we LOVED it! We had a patio where the ducks came right on up to the door, and we also could see the Electrical Water Pagent right from the patio. We loved watching all the boats go by, and it was very nice just walking around the area. The walk to the Main lobby was not far at all. The pool was a quick walk as well. The Contemporary is now my favorite resort!! :) :) :)

The parking lot view is not bad either. About 75% of the wing can see the fireworks at MK from their room. The view of the tower in nice also.
