Prologue:

It all started with my solo trip last December. On my last night, I attended the Christmas Party where I met DISer MadiMouse, her husband and baby girl.

After watching a Christmas show together, I was ready to split from them so they could enjoy family time together. I was then informed that I, the internet stranger WAS part of the family and would be with them for the remainder of the evening. We had a great time together! When it was time to leave the park, I REALLY got sad as it sank in that she lived in Atlanta, and I lived in Baltimore. :worried: But then I felt a little silly for being so sad over someone I'd just met a few hours ago.

That night she called me after getting back to the room, and admitted that she too was sad and a bit teary at our departure. As a result, her husband suggested that we take a weekend together, leaving him and the baby at home! WHAAAT???? I couldn't believe it! Well sure enough, by February, the plans were made. We were going the weekend of my Birthday!!!

After the plans were set, a real friendship began. We talked on the phone at least 3 times a week, and emailed even more. The closer we got to our trip, the more excited we became, and we couldn't believe that it all started with the internet!

Getting There:
I had to work all week before going that Friday - getting off at 8am that Friday morning, running home to finish packing, then off to the airport.

MadiMouse and I decided to fly in on Friday afternoon, June 6th. Her Delta flight would arrive about an hour before mine with Southwest, and she was going to wait for me at the airport. When I arrived at BWI airport in Baltimore, I was informed that my flight was delayed by 45mins.

Fortunantly when we boarded - I had position A23 - I was able to get the emergency row with extra leg room! The plane was very cold and for the first time I had to ask for a BLANKET! Since I can't sleep on planes (even though I had just gotten off of work at 8am that morning), I wanted to take notes. Guess what? I'd left my note pad home, AND I had no pen! I thought my DISer membership would be removed! Well, I ended up reading an article in the Spirit magazine by Sarah Hepola called "Travel Solo". She started her trips when she was 25, much to the confusion of her parents. But she found the trips very freeing, and it built-up her self-confidence. The article was great and encouraged me to take solo trips to other places.

Finally, I landed at MCO about 40mins late. After a few calls to MadiMouse (MM), I spotted her. I started running to her in S L O W motion! She was cracking up! As we made our way to Magical Express, she handed me this gift!

It's a Cinderella photo holder! I LOVE Cinderella! MM informed that she wanted to take funny pics like LaMaigique did in her report. And believe me we did!

When we got to the Magical Express Counter, it wasnt crowded at all.

Arrival Day:

After we got settled on the ME bus to French Quarter, MadiMouse (MM) openned the gift bag I gave her. Of course it was Lime Green!!! In it was a set of fun Disney PJs, Disney Pillowcases, and glow jewerly. And OF COURSE I bought the identical stuff for myself! HA!

We were so excited on the bus! Especially as we started to get closer!!!

Finally, we arrived at French Quarter! It was like comming home!

MM and I did a split stay: she paid for 2 nights at FQ, and I did 2 nights at AKV. I didnt have enuf points to do all 4 nights there. When we checked in at FQ, we asked the CM LuLu, if she could get us a room close to the bus stop. (I'd fallen down the stairs in my house and my foot was sore :worried: ) Well, Lulu HOOKED US UP!!!! Not only were we going to be close to the stop, but on the first floor!!! She also gave me a Happy Bday Pin!!!!

After checking out the room, we headed to the food court. I got a veggie sandwhich, chips, water and cheesecake. The sandwhich was good, not great, but I would get it again. The cheesecake and chips were really good. I was immediately disappointed that they no longer serve Pecan Pie!

We we finished eating, we went back to the room so MM could change and go to Magic Kingdom (MK). I decided that I would go with her, but as soon as I got tired, would leave her so I wouldn't drop dead of exhaustion!

We got to MK around 6:30. It was sooooo hot that I think my deoderant jumped off my underarms and ran back on the shuttle bus as we entered the park! There were sooooo many people - well, let me qualify that - there a lot of people compared to what I'm used to. We were soooo excited to be there though, and I couldnt believe that I was actually STILL awake!

We rode just a few rides, including Buzz. While in line I called MeMom!

Ok, in the picture above, you see the kids behind me? Well, this started the string of RUDE things that happened throughout our trip. I hope this doesn't spark a bunch of negativity on my report, but I'm going to tell what happend during our trip anyway!

Now, when I stood there to take the pic, there was NO ONE there. When a family with kids saw me, they started to even put their kids in front of me, then got them to squeeze in the bars behind me so they could take their pic! WHAAAT???!!!! So I just stood there in the middle, with my hand on my hip, blocking the kids so I could get the pic! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!!!!!

MM rode Space Mountain, while I very patiently waited for her. There was NO WAY I was getting on that!!!

Later we rode Haunted Mansion and Thunder Mountain. On the way out of the park, MM treated me to a Dole Whip! We had to fight the crowds watching Spectro to leave the park. We got back to the room around 10pm.

That night I didnt sleep well at all! I guess that's what happends when you've been up for 24 hrs, and try to sleep when you're normally at work!

The food looks good. I spotted some of those delicious beignets already.

I remember the phone call. I believe it included the phrase, "It is sooooo hot!"... more than once. I hope the heat wave has toned down a degree or two by the time we get there on Saturday.

Mandy, I do agree! If Glenda can ride TOT and Expedition Everest she can certainly ride Space Mountain. Glenda, my group decided to go to MNSSHP Sept 9th. Since you'll be there that night too, it will be a good night for Mandy and I to get you on Space Mountain. My mom won't ride it, but only because she's afraid she won't be able to get in and out of those low cars. I'll make my husband ride by himself and Mandy and I will let you sit in the middle seat between us. Only thing is, Mandy will have to sit in the front, because I wouldn't want you reaching up and choking me during the ride:rotfl2: . Oh you do know there is a hidden Pooh on that ride (as you exit) don't you? Maybe that will give you an incentive to ride it.

As far as pecan pie, I may have to bring you one in Sept. Like most southerners, I do make a mean pecan pie, if I do say so myself. Would one of those be allowed on the plane and would that be a big enough bribe to get you on Space Mountain?

UGH, how rude of that family messing up your picture! I remember when I was little and there were never character handlers and it was like a free-for-all and you always had pictures with other random children in them.

Hi Glendamax, I remember reading your trip report when you first met MM, It's awesome to see that a great friendship developed from that.

You had inspired me to take a solo trip this January, but as it turns out, my friend (a total Disney Virgin) wants to go, so it's a girls trip now, still super fun.

Day 2: Saturday June 7th

Saturday morning, I rose after a long night of waking up several times thinking I was: in my old appartment or, in my Mother's house, or in my current house. Then finally I realized where I was: in Disney World at Port Orleans French Quarter with "internet stranger" turned friend, MadiMouse (MM). I immediately became giggly: Here we are, two adult working women in Disney PJ's, hugging pillows dressed in Disney Pillowcases - PRICELESS! :thumbsup2

When I finally swung my legs over the side of the bed, MM heard me, and was startled by the sight of me :eek: . So in calm voice, I said, "MM it's me, Glenda, we're in Disney World . . . calm down". Then I heard a hard sigh, and "Girrrrrrllllllllll . . .hmmmm", before she fell back into her DISpillow! So no, I was not the only one who had a weird night's sleep! HA!

It was only about 6:30, so I called my friend Fee, who was with me for part of my trip in September. She was at work. It was nice sitting in the beautiful court yard that time of the morning talking to her. You know, it really made it real - I'm in Disney World!!!!!

Later I showered and dressed while MM slept, and got breakfast at the food court. She agreed to meet me there, and then head to the bus stop.

While having breakfast, I called my new beau :lovestruc (Don't I sound 91 yrs old?), telling him about what happend so far, and what we were going to do. Unfortunantly, he'd found out the day before that one of his friends had died, so he was pretty down. But still, it was good hearing his voice.

Soon, I'd finished eating my croissant breakfast sandwhich, which was very good, and MM came walking in. We then headed out to the bus stop, to one of my favorite places: EPCOT - Which DISer PennConn told me stands for Everybody Comes Out Tired! So I no longer attempt to do Future World and World Showcase in one day. I've tried, I've failed, I'm done!

We arrived at EPCOT quite early. As you will see in this clip below, I look like I'd just rolled out of bed, while MM looks like she has been up for hours, is not hot, and looks great in make-up that looked immaculate ALL DAY!

Even as we went through security, it looked a bit empty, but when we turned the corner, we saw that people we already lined up. And yes, it was HOT!

When we went through the turnstiles, the CM called after me, telling me that someone was on the phone for me. I took the phone, and when I said "hello", it was Goofy wishing me a Happy Birthday! I was sooo silly going "It's Goofy! Goofy is on the phone"! I thought that was sooooo cool! You gotta love this place!

Soon we found ourselves limbering up for the speed walking - no we're not running - over to The Land to get on Soaring first. We bypassed Spaceship Earth, cause after all, we could do that on the way out.

Day 2 EPCOT cont.

Well folks I made it in! AND we got the FRONT ROW!!! WOO-HOO!!!

What can I say . . . it was great! I REALLY want one of these in my house. Would be nice to take a ride right before I go to sleep!

When we got off, of course we got a fast pass for another ride later, then headed over to Test Track and Mission Space (mild side)

After these 2 rides, MM checked in on her baby and things at home (while I waited in the SHADE on a bench! HA!), then we headed over to Nemo. This is such a cute little ride. It surprised me though, how kids were a bit hesitant to get in the clam shells (the cars for the ride).

We then went over to Imangination, and I warned MM that I would be singing the song during the ride - and probably clap too! HA! But seriously, they really need to redo that ride. (It's awful)

Finally, we made our way back to The Land to soar over California again. Then the highlight of our day - lunch at the land!!!

I think we both got the turkey sandwhich with munster cheese. But for dessert, I got the Butterfinger cheesecake, while she got the strawberry shortcake. She said that the cheesecake was MUCH better!

While we were eating, there was a lady with a crying toddler. That girl was MISERABLE in her high chair! But did the lady take her out, and maybe walk her around? NO! Insted she fussed with her, and kept saying that she wanted to go. HELLO????? The baby was tired, and she wanted to get out the chair!!! It got so bad that a few CMs went over. Finally, she took her out of the chair and walked around with her.

After lunch, we headed over to Club Cool. This was MM first time. I love the cool music in there!

How did you like POFQ? We are staying there in Sept. for the first time. Loved it. It feels homey, AND it's not HUMONGOUS! So if you need a snack, it wont be a LONG trip back to the main bldg.

Mandy, I do agree! If Glenda can ride TOT and Expedition Everest she can certainly ride Space Mountain. Glenda, my group decided to go to MNSSHP Sept 9th. Since you'll be there that night too, it will be a good night for Mandy and I to get you on Space Mountain. My mom won't ride it, but only because she's afraid she won't be able to get in and out of those low cars. I'll make my husband ride by himself and Mandy and I will let you sit in the middle seat between us. Only thing is, Mandy will have to sit in the front, because I wouldn't want you reaching up and choking me during the ride:rotfl2: . Oh you do know there is a hidden Pooh on that ride (as you exit) don't you? Maybe that will give you an incentive to ride it.

As far as pecan pie, I may have to bring you one in Sept. Like most southerners, I do make a mean pecan pie, if I do say so myself. Would one of those be allowed on the plane and would that be a big enough bribe to get you on Space Mountain?

1. Glad that you're comming to the party that Tuesday. Hopefully it wont be too crowded!

After still being stunned that Spaceship Earth had a HUGE line, and that we would not be able to see it this trip, we went back to the resort for much needed rest (how's that for a run-on sentence?). It's moments like these that staying on property is the best! There's nothing like being able to shower, sleep, put on a clean outfit and start all over again!!!

Around 4:30, we took the boat from FQ over to Riverside to check out the food court.

The little boy sitting next to MM talked to her the whole time, and was surprised that she knew the words to "Sweet Home Alabama", which was playing over the PA system.

Surprisingly, when we got to Riverside's food court, there wasnt anything we REALLY wanted. So I figured that I'd just get the Pecan Pie from here since they no longer served it at FQ. Well DISers . . . this is when you should be glad I don't have a gun. They too have stopped serving the pie. WHAT THE #$%& HUH?????? Do these people know WHO I am? And that I have been waiting a YEAR to have a slice, and that I will write tons of runon sentences about how they shouldnt just take favorites off the menu for some stupid reason without talking to me, or some other Disney fans first, cuz after all this IS a Southern-themed Resort, and I have paid good money to come here, to eat food that will not only make me fatter, but make my face break out too!!!! Are they KA-RAY-ZEE?

Well, enough about me... MM wanted a Magic Cookie Bar, something she'd heard about on the DIS. However, she needed to know if it had nuts, since she cannot eat them. Well, while we waited for a bit, the CM had to go get the head chef, because of some policy, to tell her it did. So not only was I disappointed, but MM was too.

Now our only other option was Boatwrights.

It was about 10mins before they openned, and we were able to get a table. So we meandered around for a few till they openned. Well folks, I'm sorry to say that they have changed their menu. Not only are the food items different, but they no longer serve the flavored sodas! :worried: So I stuggled to find something on the menu. I ended up ordering the Iceberg Salad, and the crawfish cakes. They were both VERY good. I was REALLY pleased at how good the crawfish cakes were. I'd never had one before.

The corn muffins there used to be REALLY good. The batter was poured in to muffin pans, so you got REAL corn MUFFINS with bits of corn in them. Well now, the batter is just poured into a pan, and you get "squares". It's still ok, but not the same.

Day 2 cont.

It's moments like these that staying on property is the best! There's nothing like being able to shower, sleep, put on a clean outfit and start all over again!!!



Surprisingly, when we got to Riverside's food court, there wasnt anything we REALLY wanted. So I figured that I'd just get the Pecan Pie from here since they no longer served it at FQ. Well DISers . . . this is when you should be glad I don't have a gun. They too have stopped serving the pie. WHAT THE #$%& HUH?????? Do these people know WHO I am? And that I have been waiting a YEAR to have a slice, and that I will write tons of runon sentences about how they shouldnt just take favorites off the menu for some stupid reason without talking to me, or some other Disney fans first, cuz after all this IS a Southern-themed Resort, and I have paid good money to come here, to eat food that will not only make me fatter, but make my face break out too!!!! Are they KA-RAY-ZEE?



Now our only other option was Boatwrights.


While we were eating, the waitress Patricia, whom has waited on me both times that I've been there, came out to say Hello. She even remembered where I sat when I was there with my Mother 2 years ago! It was good seeing her again.



Agreed. An afternoon nap, shower, and clean clothes and then off to a fun evening, that's a great thing about being on-site.

I'm picturing you with a gun and some nice security guard saying, "The moose at the front should have told you there was no longer pecan pie."

That's cool that the waitress remembered you. I guess you're just unforgettable.

Day 2 Cont.

After leaving Boatwrights, we made our way to the shuttle stop to go to MGM - oh, I mean Disney's Hollywood Studios. Since I don't get on any rides there, I chose to wear a dress, one that I would ONLY wear to WDW. A Minnie Mouse dress. See below . . .

Well, the disappointments for this day still weren't over. The wait for the MGM bus was LONG - at least 30mins! What made it worse, was that this was the first time that MM was using the Disney busses, which I swear by. So the busses made a BAD first impression on her! Oh well.

When we FINALLY got on the bus, the driver wished me a Happy Birthday! The bus was packed though and we had to stand. As soon as the bus pulled off, an announcement came on that said there was a special guest on the bus! Hmmm . . . And to please wish them a Happy Birthday! Who? ME? YAY!!!!! So then I smiled and did my Cinderella wave to everyone on the bus!

After we finally got to the park, I remembered that it was Star Wars Weekend!

As we entered the park, MM stopped to get our photopass pic taken. This is was great since we hardly have any of the two of us. We then headed to Tower of Terror (ToT) so that MM could ride - NO NOT ME!

See? When you're NOT riding something that scares you death, you have time to appreciate the theming, the CMs, and take photos! It's amazing what you notice when you don't feel like you're marching to your death! OH! And I even tried to call Antss while in line, to see if we could meet up, but I only got her voice mail.

MM really enjoyed her ride! And I enjoyed standing in line with her! HA!

Next, I would stand in line with her to get on yet another thrilling ride . . .

When we went through the turnstiles, the CM called after me, telling me that someone was on the phone for me. I took the phone, and when I said "hello", it was Goofy wishing me a Happy Birthday!

I always love when we go to the library that's all the way on the left because you walk by this glass case that has a display of things they would have sold in the gift shop at the time. There are these really beautiful rings in there and a few little bags. My dad usually has to peal me off the glass.

Day 2 Cont.

In the last installment, it was the evening of June 7th, and MadiMouse (MM) and I were at MGM where SHE had just gotten off of Tower of Terror (ToT).

(FYI: I can't stand posts that soley uses abbreviations so I'll try to clue some of the newbies in on what some of them are since I will NOT be spelling everything out)

We then made our way over to Rockin Rollarcoaster (RnR). I would LOVE to ride this, but I can't stand sudden take offs. The most I could do was the Volcano Coaster at Kingsdominion in Virginia. I also rode Flight of Fear at the same park, and I'm convinced that some of my electrons, short term memory and the part of your brain that allows you to reason, is still on that ride!

But back to the trip . . . The line for RnR was LONG, but we spotted a Single Rider Line. As we walked up the ramp, the guy in front of us reminded me of the guy I'm seeing - but not as tall, not as cute. MM said he was checking me out, but I didnt notice. If anything he seemed nervous when I pulled out my camera.

The line for this ride is REALLY cool! Especially when your in the recording studio. I didnt get any shots because it was a bit dark. I stayed in line the whole time with MM.

Now it was time to head over to Fantasmic. Now some of us who have been a few times know to go to the bathroom (and get snacks) BEFORE you go into the stadium so you can get your seats, and hold onto them. Besides, since you have to get there about 45mins before, you might as well be comfortable.

When we finally reached the stadium after walking up that long path, it was a little more than half full.

While waiting for the show to start, a young couple sat next to me. I didnt realize that they werent the same ones who'd left earlier - who were part of a larger party. A woman told them that the seats were taken. As they were leaving the guy said "You shouldn't hold seats". (Well you know that made me mad! IF you have a chance to walk around insted of sitting for 45 mins, and you have 3 or 4 other people who can watch your seat. Go for it!) As a result, the woman tried to sit sorda in the middle of the space and had to sit awkwardly. So I (DISer that I am), took my backpack and put it on the seat long ways so she could slide back over. And I told her not to worry about the seats! :snooty:

As it started to get dark, MM and I started pulling out our glow jewelry. An English woman in her early 60s behind us started asking us what they were. So we told her, and wonderful, I'll-share-my-happiness-with-you, MM gave her 2 links to make a necklace. She was DE-LIE-TED! Do you hear me? DEE-LIEEE-TED!!!

The stadium REALLY filled up! Good thing we got there early!

Then it really started to get dark, and the announcements started. "Welcome to Fantasmic . . . " YEAH IT'S GONNA START!!!! " . . . in just 10 mins you - " BOOO!!!!!! START NOW!!!! So after about 3 of these, I started talking like the female recording, but adding in my own minutes: "In just 45 minutes . . ." The guy in front of us was cracking up!

Of course the show was great! And I cheered, and yelled for Mickey to fight! I took lots of clips. Here's one, and some pics:

After the show, the English woman was going to take off the necklace to give it back to MM. But of course she refused. The woman was soooo tickled. She hugged and kissed us both!

On the way out of the show, they lead us down a LONG path behind the scenes which led us all the way to the front turnstiles! It felt like we'd been kicked out!

But what's that? As we were walking out, we saw some people walking back in. Huh? I looked, and standing at the turnstiles were a BUNCH of men. What? Is this a T.D. Jakes Manpower convention? Who are these men?

Day 2 Cont.

MM and I were completely confused when we saw these men. The first that caught our eye were two BEE-YOU-TEE-FUL Black men, one with Dread Locs, talking to each other. That did it. Who were they? How can we get back in. I walked over to the ticket counter and asked one of the guys. He told me that it was GAY WEEKEND and tonight they had MGM from 10pm to 1am. :hyper: oh wait . . . gay, he said gay right . . . :(

After he walked away, we noticed a change in the Disney-esque MGM music. It went from "Lah - Lah - Lah - Magic" to " BOOM BOOM BOOM - - - BOOM BOOM BOOM ". I peek down the street where The Hat is, and all I see is smoke/fog and flashing lights. Ok, we REALLY needed to get in!!!! So as we're standing there, a nice looking (but short) guy comes over. "You guys comming in? You have boyfriends? You know what this is right?" We're like yes, we are taken - one married, one dating, yes we know what it is, yes we need to get in!!!! So he says that he doesnt have his tix yet, but his "friend" is getting him one. So we're waiting with him. So his friend comes. But he's not getting us in, only him. :worried: How 'Bout he tells us that it costs $95 to get in, and Taylor Dane is performing. The only rides that were going to be open were ToT and RnR.

We start talking though, and his friend and I live in the same city, and he works near my house. But still no ticket.

Well, MM and I decide to sit and watch the guys for a minute. Then here they come . . . the MOTHER LOAD . . . SHUTTLE BUSES! Oh, yes, MM and I REALLY made ourselves comfortable then.

LOADS AND LOADS of some of the most attractive, well dressed, good smelling men that you have EVER seen in your life!!! We were stunned! :eek: I have NEVER seen men that attractive in my REAL life EVER!!! I'm talking all heights, races, Nationalities, and languages.

Now you have to remember, alot of these men have probably been treated like CARP, and were a bit defensive-looking at people looking back at them. But if only they knew! I was in awe, and a bit sad at the same time! ALL OF THESE FINE MEN ARE GAY!!!!! Well, what are we to do but sit and stare! popcorn::
I wanted to pull my camera out sooooooooo badly and get some good pics and video. But what if some of them were on the down-low and ripped the camera out of my hands, thinking I was trying to spy! So unfortunantly, Lady DISers, all I have to remember this moment is my memory - and oh what memories they are . . .

After awhile we even called DISer Lan to see if she wanted to come next year on Gay weekend and follow the guys around from park to park. She said "YEAH"!!!! HA! So there is a chance that there may be an all girls trip next year to Gay Weekend to stare at men we can't have!

Finally, the CMs were trying to get the straight visitors to leave the area. I believe some were making comments, and I saw that some had disgusted looks on thier faces. So before we left, we took this pic:

While we were over there, a male couple were waiting. So I started talking to one of them. I asked if there was a website with the events on it. When he turned to face me, he looked like the fantasy Scandinavian Ski Instructor you would see in movies. He was SUPER FINE! He looked like a real-life Race Bannon from Johnny Quest. He was about 6'2" had a square jaw, perfect teeth, and when he smiled, his whole face smiled. :cloud9: But I'm sure when I talked to him, it sounded like "I waa dah doo haa baah doo" giggle giggle:cutie:

Well, saddend that the man-watching event was over, the 2 of us made the slow walk to the stop for French Quarter. As we were going over, a CM asked where we were going, then said he would get us a bus. It was then I really looked around and noticed that there were NO buses. I looked at my watch, and we'd been out there for OVER AN HOUR!!!!!! When the bus came, the guy told us that he'd been sent JUST TO GET US!!!!! :lmao: So imagine, me and crazy MM on the bus with just the driver, in the dark with GLOW jewerly on!!!! WE HAD A BALL!

The driver was telling us stories (all of which I wont share) and we were laughing and dancing! One thing I will tell is, the driver said that some of the most interesting runs are from Downtown Disney at close. One couple in the back of the bus, even started getting to "know" each other. WOW!

Traffic was a bit backed up getting out, because of all the men comming in. We saw some FABULOUS cars, and tricked-out motor coaches!

Well, this was certainly an interesting evening. I just wish I could've taken pics :(

That night, we went back to our room, ate Beignets in our Disney Pjs, and talked about all the men we saw . . . .

i once gave my extra glow stuff to 2 kids that were sitting behind us at fantasmic. they didn't know what they were and they didn't speak english, so i just popped them and made them into jewelry for them. they were really happy! isn't spreading joy at disney just the best???

Well since I've given him the link to this report (and it's only been a few months), I will have to be careful about what I say! Don't wanna scare the poor man off!

I met him through a friend, he's 6'3" - so with me being 6 feet, this is a PLUS!
He has dread locs, a wonderful smile, and infectious laugh. Should we stay togther through next year, I hope to take him to WDW for a few days. So we'll see! OH and yes, I have revealed my Disney secret. I think I waited till about a month into it. And fortunantly, he didnt think I was a weirdo. But I think it helps that my house does NOT look like the World of Disney, or Mousegears!!!

Day 3- Sunday, June 8th

Inspite of our late night with all the HOT men, MadiMouse (MM) and I woke up very rested. Today we had to pack up everything, drop our bags off at bell services - to have them transported to the Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) and be at the Animal Kimgdom park (AK) by rope drop. OH!!! I forgot to mention that MM and I have the same set of lugguage: burgundy Samsonite!

Fortunantly, not only were we running on time (even with waiting for MM to apply her immaculate make-up for the day - see MM I DID mention it! HA!), but we were EARLY! We said good-byes to our wonderful room that was soooo close to the bus stop, and headed out! When the AK bus got there, we were the only ones on it. As we were on our way to AK, we could see AKL in the distance. So I asked the bus driver if he could just drop us off there. He said that he had to check. So I said that I forgot about the GPS, that they're being tracked. He was surprised that I knew this. I told him that I figured with the announcements, and music being timed on the shuttle, that his movements were being tracked too. He then pulled the bus over, made a call, and got permission to drop us off. He said that people never believe him, when he says he can't go off the route, just because THEY want him to. We checked in at AKL, and got our keys, but of course the room wasnt ready, but at least it was done! And it was sooo good seeing that lobby again!

After a quick pit stop to the Ladies', we were out the door and still on schedule!!! WOO-HOO!!! We made our way to the shuttle stop, and waited, and waited, and waited, and WAITED!!!!! Good Grief! Now all the time we made up was for NUFFIN!!! We didn't get to AK till 9:15! I LOVE that rope drop, so I was mad that I missed it!!!

When we FINALLY got to the park, I didnt even stop to try to get a pic by the sign, nor take any on the way in. I HAD to get to EVEREST!!!! The ride that both scares and thrills me!!!

Fortunantly, the wait wasnt long. And I managed to enjoy my time in line and take pics without my stomach hurting thinking about my DOOM!

It's here that I had to have a little talk with myself: Gmax, you've been on this before. You even liked it enough that you got a Fast Pass the last 2 times you were here to get on again. Don't act a fool!!! You actually LIKE this ride! BREATHE! Don't pass out! Look . . . there are even LITTLE kids getting on this!

We board the train, and I'm praying: "Jesus, please don't let me get sick, please don't let me feel like I'm going to die. Jesus PLEASE don't let me regret getting on this!"

As we're climbing the hill, I pretend that I'm just watching a video on Youtube, and appreciate the view - the train stops - it starts to go backwards - "The Lord is my Shepheard I shall not WAAAAAANNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!"

I SKA-REEEEM during the backwards part, but I don't feel sick, or as if I'm dead but can still sense everything around me. I'm actually ok! The worse is OVER!!!!!! I've even figured out that on the one (and thank God ONLY) drop on the ride, if I hold my butt up out the seat just a Leeeetle bit, my stomach doesnt drop as much. So I do that, and actually kept my eyes OPEN going down the hill!!!! Yes, I'm IS a big gurl now! :snooty:

When we get off and I'm walking through the gift shop, I wanted to stop everybody and say "No, I didnt just stand in line WITH her, I got on too! AND I kept my eyes open on the drop . . .See . . . look . . . there's my pic on the screen"! I wasnt able to get a shot of the ride photo this time, but that's ok, I'd done it!!!!! :snooty:

On the way out, we even got Fast Passes to do it again!!!!

The ride was GREAT! I was surprised that it didn't scare me as much as it usually does though.

Afterwards, we got on "Tough Being a Bug". I'd skipped this the last 2 times, so it was a treat! I felt so sorry for the crying kids though. I know that I couldnt make it through that if I were little! My arms would be LOCKED around my Mother's neck!

Then it was back to Everest! Where I did well again! EYES OPEN!!! :bitelip: :eek:

Finally we got something to eat at Pizzafari. This was my first time there.
I had the Hot Italian Style Sandwich with Chips (Turkey, ham, Swiss and Provolone Cheese topped with Caesar salad and pesto marinated tomatoes - $7.09). It was VERY good. I believe MM took a pic of all our food. I was too hungry to pull my camera out!

We then went to see the Nemo show! I LOVE this!!!!!

I rode Everest once, and I think that might be the one that I say I won't do again. It was a little rough, I thought. Yet, something in me wants to do it one more time before I make up my mind for good. Coulda just been a bad day for me that day I rode it. I don't know. We'll see what happens this trip. We're supposed to be in Animal Kingdom on Monday afternoon, so I have until then to think about it.

Hope the guy friend turns out to be a wonderful part of your life!

I am the opposite of you. This past trip was the first time I was brave enough to do Space Mountain. And I really wanted to try everest and RnRc (but this one was rehabed in Sept) also...I am not a roller coaster person. Well I was brave and went on SM....after that I told DH no more...I am not going on it again (it is jerky) and no more roller coasters (even though I can handle Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash MOuntain)...so I refused to go on Everest. DH had to go by himself and he said I probably wouldn't have liked it anyways. And I always have to have my eyes closed...or else I would be sick. I told him next trip with be with kids...so I will just sit out with them if they are too small while he rides...or if they are big enough...probably sit out by myself. :rotfl2: I'm such a chicken!:lmao:

Loved the AK report. Pics and videos were great. Loved seeing inside Dino as I've never done that ride. I've been told how rough it is and my back wouldn't take it, so it was great getting to see a video of the queue! :thumbsup2 I did Everest last trip, but not sure if I will this trip or not. It was not a favorite. I do like RnRC, but not Space Mountain although I'm not sure why.

I'm caught up! A few things:

I must be one of the small percent of the population that actually likes the Beverly. Not that I would want to drink an entire bottle, but I didn't think it was too bad. Probably would be good to settle an upset tummy too, although MadiMouse looked like it gave her an upset tummy!

Hot Men. I was at the Hilton June 4-6 and there were a lot of Hot Men by the pool. There were a lot of men, period, but it was pretty easy to distinguish between the Hot men and the Microsoft Geek Men (DH was at a big Microsoft conference). The Hot Men were having a great time. Senator John McCain was also at the hotel, not by the pool, but giving a press conference in the ballroom. Interesting.

I actually got over to the AKL, my first time. It was beautiful. Can't wait to see your room!

FYI I was talking to some guys behind us in line at kali river rapids and found out it was gay week. They told me that it is unofficial but is every year on the first week in June. Day 3 cont.

MadiMouse (MM) and I spent the first half of Day 3 at the Animal Kingdom Park. We were both surprised and relieved that it wasn't "Africa Hot" in the park - that is, until we had to walk across the open area after you leave the turnstiles, and before the shuttle busses. It was BLAZING HOT!!!! We couldnt believe the intensity of the heat. But at least we were on our way OUT!

We boarded the shuttle bus to my DVC home, Animal Kingdom Lodge! When I went to the counter to see if our room was ready, I crossed my fingers, and asked MM to do so too. The CM was a bit amused! After taking my info, and typing on the computer . . . the room was READY!!!! Thank God! (Our lugguage though, had not arrived from French Quarter yet. So we would be stuck in our AM outfits a bit longer.) I asked the CM if the room was kinda close to the lobby. She said that it was!!!!

I reserved a value studio room. At the time of the reservation, I asked for a pool view room if possible, since they are waaaay closer than the Savannah View rooms.

After getting the key, we were directed to the first set of elevators, closest to the front entrance and gift shop, to go to the 5th floor.

After we got off the elevator we turned left, walked just a few doors down, and on the left was room 5012! A nice SHORT walk!

Now it was time for the moment of truth: what kind of view did we get, and would the value room be super tiny?

MM openned the door . . . we were pleased!!!! This room was the same as the regular studio rooms, except: the sofa was closest to the door, not the balcony, and insted of having a woredrobe, there was a closet! YES! To me, the room didnt seem that much smaller!

Day 3 cont.

Before MadiMouse (MM) and I even got to the room, I tried to get us a later dinner time, so we'd have more time to rest. But nothing else was available. We had to be at Boma by 4:30pm.

When I woke around 4, I called again to see if our bags were in. They told me that they were, but that it was a 30 min wait, AND an adult HAD to be in the room. HUH? You don't have to be for Magical Express, so why now? I calmly said that we had dinner reservations in a half hour, and needed to get in our bags. The CM said that they would try their best.

By 4:20, they still had not gotten to us, so I sent MM down to Boma, because a DIScelebrity was meeting us for dinner! At 4:28, Vanessa from Bell Services lugged in our bags. Yes, a woman. I was surprised. Since it was sooo late, I told her that I would drop off her tip when I went downstairs. I then reached in my bag and got another pair of shoes, I put on the shirt I'd just bought from the gift shop earlier, put on a fresh pair of wrinkled up shorts (since the ones I had on were slipping down all day) and I grabbed a wash cloth and wiped my face off in record speed!

I RAN downstairs to Boma and there they were: my friend MadiMouse, and introducing . . . LaMagique!!! In person, she is just as cute as the pics in her reports! (here's the link to one of her reports: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=18276581#post18276581)

After we hugged and squealed after finally being able to see each other in person, we were seated quickly!

Now I have to admit, I did NOT take any notes. Understand, this is my FAVORITE place to eat. So there was no time for a pad and pen. I WANTED FOOD!!!!

I started out with salad w/mango vinegrette, pasta salad and Carrot Ginger Soup. I did this twice. The second time I had a more salad but with Apple vinegrette, pasta salad, and Coconut Curried Seafood Stew.

It was sooooo much fun talking to LaMagique! After reading her reports (I think 3), she had quickly become someone I wanted to meet. We talked about her time working at Disney, and she shared some stories. Both MM and I wish that we could rewind time, and while in college, do the Disney program! I didnt even know that it existed! We were so proud of LaMagique for doing so much during her college career!

After a little more chit chat, it was time for the entrees!!!! Now don't get too mad with me, I dont remember everything I ate. It was all soooo good. I do remember that I had the salmon, some rice, and some veggies - among other things! HA!

At some point while I was drooling at the buffet, MM and LaMagiue told the waitress that it was my bday. So I was surprised by this, mini-cakes incased in chocolate!!!

They'd also managed to get the chef to bring over another dessert. Chocalate inside of a warm pastry, and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was delicious.

We had such an AWESOME time together. It really is amazing how you can connect with people of all walks of life, just because you have Disney in common! LaMagique and I exchanged numbers, because she will be in Orlando when I go back in September! So hopefully we'll get to meet up again!!!

After MadiMouse and I split from LaMagique, we freshened up, changed, and went to MGM (Disney's Hollywood Studios), because MM wanted to ride Tower of Terror and Rockin Rollar Coaster again. Also, we wanted to ride the new Toy Story ride!

Unfortunantly, the CM there said that the single rider line wait was up to 3 hours, so they closed it down. The standby line was over an hour. Oh well . . . at least I'm comming back in SEPTEMBER!!!!!

Feeling slightly defeated, we left for Magic Kingdom. I really wanted to ride Thunder Mountain, TTC, and the river boat safari thingie while it was dark.

Well, we ended up getting stuck in the Spectro Parade traffic. We made it all the way over to Thunder Mountain, and couldnt cross the street. So we sat and waited . . . :rolleyes1 :bored:

And when it was over EVERYONE else had the same idea . . . running onto Thunder. I HATE the zig-zag line in all that heat!!! But it was worth it. When we FINALLY got to the boarding area, ther was a crazy CM who decided to act as if he were animatronic. While MM found this VERY funny, he kinda creeped me out. Here's a little clip.

We rode this twice. And once we got to sit in the front row!!!!! It scared us to DEATH!!!! It was GREAT!

Giggling, we made our way over to the Safari Tour Boat thingie (can you tell I'm tired). When we got there, people were getting out of line. They were having technical difficulties. At this point, I was BEAT! I spotted a bench and sat down. MM wanted to know what I wanted to do. In my HEART I wanted to go over to Tomorrow Land to ride the TTC, but my feet, legs and body wanted to go back to AKL!!!

While still sitting there, we called Snowbell! She got to WDW the same day we did. When I asked what she was doing, she said that she was in bed watching TV. I IMMEDIATELY became jealous! When I told MM what she was doing, she said "LET'S GO"!!! I was soooo happy!

Finally, we were on our way home!!!!! And ready to have some sweet dreams!

The breakfast is really good. Try the french toast. It looks different, but its really good. Also, order their juice!

After all, you can't have pregnant woman, or a young child trying to sneak on a ride - so they have to have a way to get them out of the ride.

Thanks for the tour of AKL - one of these days I'll get to see it in person. That's my dream resort to stay at if we could afford deluxe. That soup sounds awesome, and, I just found a recipe for it on Allears. I will definitely be trying it.

Mandy, I do agree! If Glenda can ride TOT and Expedition Everest she can certainly ride Space Mountain. Glenda, my group decided to go to MNSSHP Sept 9th. Since you'll be there that night too, it will be a good night for Mandy and I to get you on Space Mountain. My mom won't ride it, but only because she's afraid she won't be able to get in and out of those low cars. I'll make my husband ride by himself and Mandy and I will let you sit in the middle seat between us. Only thing is, Mandy will have to sit in the front, because I wouldn't want you reaching up and choking me during the ride:rotfl2: . Oh you do know there is a hidden Pooh on that ride (as you exit) don't you? Maybe that will give you an incentive to ride it.

As far as pecan pie, I may have to bring you one in Sept. Like most southerners, I do make a mean pecan pie, if I do say so myself. Would one of those be allowed on the plane and would that be a big enough bribe to get you on Space Mountain?

Now I have to admit, I did NOT take any notes. Understand, this is my FAVORITE place to eat. So there was no time for a pad and pen. I WANTED FOOD!!!!

I started out with salad w/mango vinegrette, pasta salad and Carrot Ginger Soup. I did this twice. The second time I had a more salad but with Apple vinegrette, pasta salad, and Coconut Curried Seafood Stew.

Thanks for the tour of AKL - one of these days I'll get to see it in person. That's my dream resort to stay at if we could afford deluxe. And, as for BOMA, DH and I want to eat there but couldn't fit it in to our trip this year. Oh well.... I feel like I've eaten there now cause of your pics. That soup sounds awesome, and, I just found a recipe for it on Allears. I will definitely be trying it.

- I hope you do get to Boma soon! As for staying at AKL, try staying there in the low season when it's a bit cheaper - especially in September.

Great Update - I love your pictures at Boma. Memom will be so happy about those pics... I went there in April. The food is so yummy... I hope one day you will get the experience ride RoRc... it is cool ride.. you just have to get through the first part..
yeah - I was in bed watching tv and I made myself a TV dinner.. lol. I was so tired from all the running around I did all day. I think that is the day I did Epcot EMH - Then DHS, then went back to Epcot. I sooo want to be there right now. I know me too!

Day 4 - Monday, June 9th

"Monday, Mondaaaay - Ahh ahh ahh ahhh ahhh ahhh - So good to meeee . . . ."

Well folks, When I woke up on Monday morning, I felt like I had been beaten with a stick. The ONLY thing that got me moving was that we were meeting yet another DIScelebrity, whom we had confirmed with the night before. I WAS TIRED!

When we made our way to the MK, the bus was there, but was packed. The CM told us that another one would be there shortly. No problem. We were early, and would be the first on the next one. WRONG! It took nearly 40mins for the next one. And since I was so tired from the day before, I did not have any energy to stand at the front of the group, at the curb for that long. So by the time the bus got there, I was in the middle of the pack, but at least we got on.

I must admit that I was mad that we'd missed the rope drop. MadiMouse said that she overheard someone saying that this was their last day there, and were sooooo disappointed that they wouldnt have another chance to see it. Well folks, that REALLY sealed the deal, the next time, I'm renting a car!!!

By the time we got off the bus at MK, I just knew that we were late for our meeting with the next DIScelebrity - then my phone rang. They were JUST getting there. They stopped at MGM at 7:45am (emh) first to get on the Toy Story Ride. They loved it! There was a 30mins wait - even that early!

As soon as we walked into Magic Kingdom, we spotted the one we were here to meet - SNOWBELL!!!
She is sooo cute! She had pig tails, which matched her bubbly personality! It was so funny how fast we all got along. You would've thought that we'd been together the day before and we were just picking up where we'd left off.

As we were walking around, we told Snowbell about the HOT men we saw at MGM. She said that she'd seen a bunch of them too, and some were at her resort. She even managed to get a shot from a distance of a bunch of them around the pool in their red shirts. She whipped out her camera to show us the shot she got!

After leaving HM, we headed over to Frontier Land where we would split up. Snowbell was meeting her Mother and Aunt for the rest of the day, before hanging out at the pool, then going back home. So we managed to take a few more shots . . .

When I left MK to go back to the hotel it started to get overcast and then eventually it rained a little..
The reason why I waited 38 minutes for Toy Story is b/c it was broken. I was the third person in line... it was ok though, b/c there were really cool people with me.

I think this is how the morning went -- Met up in the front of the park... scary that we got there at exactly the same time.
We went on Peter Pan -- Then Snow White -- Then Winnie the Pooh -- then Haunted Mansion...

I just thought of something......I have not heard you mention anything about your airborne. Did you take it this trip or throw caution to the wind?? Yep! After it didnt work for me in Sept, AND they were saying on the news that it doesnt really work anyway, I didnt take it. Insted, I took Zinc with breakfast, Garlic with lunch (sometimes), and Vitamin C with dinner, so it would be active in me while I was sleeping!

Maybe the guy with the laptop had to keep up with the DisBoards, especially Glenda's TR's, he didn't want to miss one posts.HA!!!!! I think Snowbell saw what he was looking at, but I didnt.

Back to the TR.....Yes, Glenda, you were tired, but it was a Disney tired!!! So it was great! It meant you were having a great time!!!:laughing: The buses can be frustrating at times, but for me, I like not driving in that crazy traffic! Oh, plus I get lost verrrrrry easily!:lmao: Another fantastic Dismeet!!! I actually met Snowbell on a trip last year. She saw my LGMH while we were waiting at the bus stop! She seemed like a sweet girl. Glad to hear you girls had fun! We did have fun!
I'm not worried about driving in Orlando though - cuz that area isnt like a REAL city. They know everyone's a tourist, so there are signs everywhere!

After screaming on Thunder Mountain, yet again, we decided to take the train over to the other side of the park so MM could ride Space Mountain. While on the platform, we could see Snowbell's Mom and Aunt by Splash Mountain - but no Snowbell. Oh well, there goes my chance to yell "HEEYYYYY SNOWBELL"!!!!!!!!

When we got to Space Mountain, the wait was about an hour. So MM got a Fast Pass, and we headed over to Liberty Tree Tavern for our lunch reservation. We were a bit early, but at least we would be waiting in AIR CONDITIONING!

Much to our surprise, they were able to take us rather quickly. While the CM was walking us to our table, I was surprised at the number of kids running around! He ended up leading us to a table right by the staircase where most of the running was taking place. Before we sat down, I asked if we could move to another table with less traffic. Then MM goes, "Look, they decorated the table for your bday". I couldn't get a great shot of it, but there was Mickey confetti all over the table. It was cute.

So after seeing the table, I took it! Hey, it was nice that MM mentioned my bday to them and that they decorated the table! Thanks MM and LTT!!!

I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I love the outfits that the CMs wear.

Now, here comes our waiter. A Chocolate (but short) and beautiful man named Content from I think, the Virgin Islands. When we took the pic together, at first, he had his face REALLY close to mine, but then he backed up just a little right as MM took the pic. HA!

What I've neglected to report is that during our time together in the parks, MM would point out men who were checking me out - which I never noticed. (I think when men saw that MM was married, I probably got her left-overs! HA!!!) However, there was no way I couldnt notice this guy flirting with me. Gorgeous AND an accent. But he was sooo short, and he was not my new sweetie! :rolleyes:

The menu was just ok. I think I would rather pay cash for this place, than use a table service credit since it wasnt super-duper expensive, and they just had regular American food. It was really good though. MM has pics of the food - so hopefully, she'll post those later.

For appetizers, we ordered: Maryland Crab Cake - a lightly fried Blue Crab Cake on roasted corn succotash with tartar sauce ($7.49) and Tavern Fried Cheese - with marinara sauce ($5.29). Understand, I live in Baltimore, so I thought the crab cake was good, but not AWESOME. The succotash was chilled and DEE-LEE-SHOUS!!! Loved it!

The fried cheese was GAH-RATE!!! The shorter pieces were white cheese (AWESOME!!!), and the longer, Mozzerella (REALLY GOOD).

To drink, I got the rasberry lemonade (I THINK that what it was). It was SOOOO good. (Content suggested with a sly sexy smile that I get it.)

For our entree, (I think) we both got the Angus Chuck Cheeseburger topped with bacon and cheddar or mushrooms and provolone served with tavern fries ($11.99). It was really good.

For dessert, I got the Strawberry Shortcake -- pound cake with vanilla bean ice cream, berries, and whipped cream ($5.49) It wasnt what I ghouth it was gonna be. It was just ok.

Now, MM got the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake -- vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling and caramel sauce ($4.99) IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Believe me, I tried, but I could NOT get a good shot at this WONDERFUL dessert! I was so glad that MM went ahead and let me eat most of it. MM if I didnt tell you then, THANK YOU!!!!!

At the end of our meal, Content asked what we were doing that night. I dont remember what we said. We chatted a bit more, then had to go. I would definetly eat here again, but pay cash, and save the table service more pricey restaurants.

After we made our way through the people waiting in the lobby, we pushed the doors open, only to be greeted by vapors from HELL!!!! We both backed in the lobby, where I did a woredrobe change. I put on my hat and pulled out my sunglasses. I hope that I didnt look like a robber, but with the HEAT and the SUN, I didnt really care. So soon, we took a deep breath, and made our way back out to the Magic Kingdom . . . .

But after riding it a few times, I think being afraid made it worse than what it really is. The first time you ride though, make sure you didnt just eat, in case it makes your stomach feel funny. Overall, it's a fun ride!

Day 4 cont.

After I got suited up to face the afternoon heat, MadiMouse and I headed out of the Liberty Tree Tavern towards Fantasy Land. Since Snowbell wanted to skip Small World earlier, we decided to go for that first. Well, for some reason, ALL of MK was in line! The line extended to the left of the building before being able to get in the line inside Small World. Below is a video clip. Keep in mind that it was BLAZING hot, which is why the quality isn't too good!

MM and I were disappointed that we had to skip SW. But fortunantly a showing for Philharmagic was starting, so we went in. This show is so good! Again, we encountered some rude people who started pushing when the doors openned. So I just let them go ahead of me, and we sat about 3 rows from the front. The effects were great!

On our way to the other side of the park, I saw something I've never seen - the Step-Sisters! I wanted to run in front of those kids so badly to have my pic taken with them!

Soon after spotting them, MM needed the restroom. So while she was in there, I called my Mother, and my brother happened to be there! So I got to tell them both at the same time about my trip. When I told my Mother that I had on a Tinkerbell shirt and Hat, she said "Oh Lord", and figured that I looked like a FREAK! So I took a pic to show her that I didnt.

After MM's pitstop, we still had time before her Space Mountain Fass Pass, we headed to the TTC. This is a favorite of ours now, because this is the first thing we rode together when we met in December! I remember walking straight pass the stroller parking, forgetting that I was with a young family!

With even more time to kill, we headed to Carosel of Progress. I hadnt been on that in YEARS! A really fat, ROUND man with a hat and cane, sat on the last row in the far corner. After the show started, MM told me to look at him. He had fallen asleep with his mouth open. His head had tilted ALL THE WAY BACK! I nearly screamed from laughter. That man was KNOCKED OUT for most of the show! Then on our left, another man was sleep too, and softly snoring. Oh Gosh, this was getting contagous! All I could think of was being back at AKL with that wonderful view as my eyes got heavier and heavier . . . But WAIT! I have to take some pics for the DIS!

When it was time to leave, the ROUND MAN (I think he even had on suspenders), woke with a start! When he stood up, he stumbled like a drunk man! I thought MM and I would fall down with laughter! That was the funniest thing I saw the whole trip!

Now remember, I forgot to take notes, so MM let me know when the next thing happend . . .

At some point, MM wanted a snack. Near the TTC, she found cream cheese-filled pretzels. I didnt want a snack, because it was sooooo HOT! Well, MM let me taste it . . . then I became consumed with thoughts of how I was going to kill - no - distract her so I could have it for myself (MY Precious!)
But the kind-hearted MM said, "Here, take half". Me: "Are you shuurrre (My Precious!) . . . Really"? MM: "Here"! Of course I started to feel bad after plotting her DE-MYYYYYZZZZ!

As we sat there, she pointed out a woman with about 3 kids. She had a cooler that resembled a rolling suitcase. Each of the kids were sitting with two slices of bread in their hands. One-by-one, she squeezed mayonaise from a full sized bottle on the bread. Then the meat. They sat there very quietly and orderly as they ate their lunch. MM and I were wondering if we sat at the end, would she give us food too!

Soon it was time for Space Mountain. I was beat! Normally, I'm out of the park around noon, and it was almost 2pm. So I told MM that after she got off the ride I HAD to leave the park. I THINK the Fast Pass line was about 30mins (is that right MM?). Now, this was a BIG mistake I made. This is the wrong line to stand in if you're tired. They play slow "Spacey" music, it's cool and dark. I wanted to LAY on that floor so badly! HA!

When it was time for MM to board, I must've looked REALLY tired, because she told me that I didnt have to wait for her to get off! HA! But I stayed. She enjoyed her second ride as well!

After we exited the ride, I headed for main street and the park's exit. I couldn't wait to get to my DVC home. But something caught my eye on the way out . . .

Great update!! I love the pictures of COP., I did that as well when I was there and of course I did not recoginze the shoes on the wrong feet...
It was soooo hot that day. I was eating my turkey leg and then I just had to get out of the park to go swimming... but alas - that is when the clouds rolled in.
Those desserts at LTT looked yummy. I have never been there. DBF always wants to eat at pinnochio village haus -- loves them turkey paninis.

At some point, MM wanted a snack. Near the TTC, she found cream cheese-filled pretzels. I didnt want a snack, because it was sooooo HOT! Well, MM let me taste it . . . then I became consumed with thoughts of how I was going to kill - no - distract her so I could have it for myself (MY Precious!)
But the kind-hearted MM said, "Here, take half". Me: "Are you shuurrre (My Precious!) . . . Really"? MM: "Here"! Of course I started to feel bad after plotting her DE-MYYYYYZZZZ!

I just found your trippie early this morning and remembered how I enjoyed your last one so much. I am happy to report that I just got caught up (5 hours later....I have 2 yr old twins so there was some mommy duties in between installments;).

I was so happy to read the part about at EE you look around to see that there are kids riding it, too. I TOTALLY do that everytime, too. First, I scope out the ones getting off the ride to see if anyone is horrified and they never are:rotfl: But, I am a chicken and never have ridden Dinosaur.

Now, MM got the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake -- vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling and caramel sauce ($4.99) IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Believe me, I tried, but I could NOT get a good shot at this WONDERFUL dessert! I was so glad that MM went ahead and let me eat most of it. MM if I didnt tell you then, THANK YOU!!!!!

Well, I've gone and done it! I have been debating for weeks whether or not to make an ADR at LTT. I just got off the phone with CM, "Paulie Mae". It's set for an 11:45 lunch in December. My DH is going to flip when he finds out a made another ADR. Actually, I just won't tell him until the day of...yeah!

Soon after spotting them, MM needed the restroom. So while she was in there, I called my Mother, and my brother happened to be there! So I got to tell them both at the same time about my trip. When I told my Mother that I had on a Tinkerbell shirt and Hat, she said "Oh Lord", and figured that I looked like a FREAK! So I took a pic to show her that I didnt.

OK first of all, where did you get that super cute Tink hat? I simply love it and think you look fabby in it!

Second of all, this scene is my favorite in the CoP. I always want to run up there and sit with John in his breakfast nook. True story about how my mother came home from a yard sale with a pumkin similar to this one and I can think of my fave scene in CoP whenever I look at it.
