Cabins near elevators

IS there a significant amout of traffic noise on cabins located near elevators ? And would you be able to hear the elevator actually working ? Thanks in advance !

When I finally get around to posting a FAQ at my web site, I will be addressing this very question. This is a very popular question on this board. Many folks on this board have booked these rooms and have almost unanimously said that they never heard a thing... or they were never annoyed by it. Don't worry about your location near the elevator. You'll be fine.

On Deck 2, you should avoid rooms that are underneath the Deck 3 nightclubs. On Deck 8, you should avoid rooms that are underneath the Goofy Pool, because they have loud, live music there until late at night on one of the nights of the cruise.

The quietest decks onboard are Decks 5, 6, and 7. No rooms to avoid here.
