View Full Version : Still not used to the term "ressie"

:yay: We're all locked in with our first "ressie" in mid-September and watch the Countdown clock daily. Can't wait! But the reason I find the term "ressie" a little funny is because our last name is "Ress".......kinda cool, I guess, 'cause we'll be hopefully making "ressies" for many years.:banana:

I too am a hater of the word "RESSIE" if your too lazy to type 5 more letters........ jeeze.......i mean really! :furious:

I don't like that term either but "ADR" bothers me even more.

But then I remind myself....who cares.:confused3 It's all just DISspeak and fun that we understand each other.:goodvibes

Just reading the term makes my lip curl up! I don't object to a lot of these abbr., I don't even mind ADR but anything ending in ie just finishes me off. I feel the same way about parents who speak to their children in annoying warbled baby talk! I don't like the abbreviation for --R E S E R V A T I O N -- so I don't use it!;)

I also can't stand "ressie"..."lappy" is even worse. I pitty the fool who uses a term like that in a real conversation with me. I don't think I could control myself.

Are you serious?! Haven't you ever heard of S-A-R-C-A-S-M? I don't know the abbreviation for that so I spelled it out for you!
