I usually start working on that 2 months before. The reason for this is because I think of things along the way for the time I am visiting that are not always on my pack checklist. I for one, certainly think that now is a great time for you to start putting stuff together. :)

Hi fellow Okie.:wave2: I've already started packing extra stuff for our September trip. You know, clothes the kids can't wear till they get to Disney, as well as just extra stuff that I buy on sale especially for the trip.

i usually start mentally listing all the things i'm going to pack even before i've booked my trip! :rotfl2:

Then I start making acutal lists on paper...

Packing/preparing is really quite the process! I say it's never too early. The prep work and anticipation is half the fun! :woohoo:
