Too late to apply for Fall 08 CP at DL?

Hey everybody, first post here and I have a couple questions about the CP program. I realize that most of this board is WDW related but I was wondering if anybody knew when the deadline for the Disneyland College Program was. I actually just stumbled upon the opportunity a couple of days ago and after reading all about it, it sounds like an amazing opportunity.

I have already filled out the preliminary application, have downloaded the forms and filled them out (I will fax on Monday) and have viewed the e-presentation and completed the online interview and plan to call the phone number on Monday to schedule a phone interview, but the more I see on these boards I have a feeling that I may be too late for the Fall semester. :( The CP website does not specifically say that they have stopped taking applications, nor does it say when the deadline is so I am not sure.

Is this true, or do they consider applicants all the way up till the beginning of the semester? If it turns out that I am too late for the fall semester should I go ahead and continue with the phone interview or should I just wait till the Spring?

Also If it is too late for the Fall semester, is it too early for the Spring? When should you optimally apply? :confused:

When I left FL at the end of my CP in May, they kept sticking fliers for the CP in Disneyland on our cars and in our apartment doors. It wouldn't hurt to still go through with the interview process. If you don't get in, you can try again the next semester since you only can apply once a semester. So I'd say to go for it! It'll also give you an idea of the interview process for the spring if you don't get accepted for the fall.

As for it being too early for the spring, yes it would be. When they stop taking applications for the fall, you can't apply until they put up information for the Spring which is usually in August/September so not far off. Like I said still do the interview and if you don't make it, go ahead and apply for the spring when they start taking applications for it. Good luck to you and I hope that helped!

Thanks for the info! I called the recruitment office today to try to schedule a phone interview but they said they had stopped making appointments for the Fall 08 semester, but that I can call back in late August / early September and apply for Spring 09.

Kinda a bummer that the website doesn't have any deadline details or anything like that, and that they allow you to do all of the other steps to apply except the interview. But at least now I have an idea of how the process works.
