I sure did. That is a great picture of California Screaming without the Mickey Ears on the ride. I have heard they are replacing Mickey with a Sun. :upsidedow and replacing the Sun face with a Mickey Face :thumbsup2
The Mickey ears were always so beautiful at night. I'm hopeing that the changes will be an improvement on perfection. :lovestruc

I miss the ears..... they're gonna have to redo a ton of things that show the mickey head on the roller coaster (garbage cans was one of the things we noticed) At least the Paradise Pier sign was up on it....without that it really looked weird!!

Yeah, it took both my photog skills: Disneyana and Wildlife.

Disneyana- Snap a shot of a memorable locale in Disneyland.
Wildlife- Get as close as you can without disturbing the animal and take a picture of it in its "natural" state.

Apples are offered on kids meals as an option and I think adults can do the same. That is a special dish that I have but is o the menus I have seen online. They do sell apple wedges in the parks with a dipping sauce but cannot remember where.

Yes, I've had the ones from World Showcase but the last time was 2004. This were good, but if i remember correctly the ones from WS were better.

Seeing picturs like this one makes me wonder how many pictures out there there must be of my family and I that other people have taken! :confused:You know, you look at your pictures and there are so many random Disney guests in them! :)

Slightly off topic, once my DD and I were at a concert and we got to talking to some people next to us. We started discussing how we had met the band before and they had too, and lo and behold, we suddenly recognized them as people in some of our pictures! :idea: And then they said that we are also in some of their's! :thumbsup2

Just wanted to say that the POTC pics have made my boys SOOO happy - especially Danny's awesome pic of the Davey Jones "waterfall." Our March trip was their first time on the ride and they both LOVED it, and the really loved the waterfall effect. Andrew was over the moon when I showed him these pics, and he is insisting that our next trip back we have to ride Pirates "lots and lots of times!!" pirate: So thanks for the photos and keep em' coming!

I wouldn't be able to see that while on the ride though, that's a toughie.

Sometimes the boats get backed up before going up the hill. That's the best time to spot it, but it's still a little hard to focus in on it.....it's so darn small.:goodvibes

OK, although I'd rather have this thread in the main Disneyland forum, I can accept it being here.
However, I don't understand why there are a bunch (six, I think) of photo threads that have been made sticky on the main forum.
Those threads aren't any more relevant to Disneyland than this one.
They are still clogging up the front page, which results in important posts being lost and questions being asked over and over.

It took me a few days but I made it though all 190+ pages of these pics! I have to say, some of you have some serious skill with a camera. we are going in June and was going to take my small point and shoot camera but I talked my girlfriend into taking the expensive one (we use it to take sports pics of my kids in sports) so I can get some great shots.

ironlou.....Very nice of you to say. Yes, I have tried to stay as late as I can once the park starts to clear out. One trip though, I managed to get dreamed for an extra hour in the park after it closed and cleared completely out. Now that was a blast. Thanks again for the nice comments. :)

Hehe. :thumbsup2 Well, although I would love to do a balloon ride over Main St, I could only manage standing at the train depot near the top of the stairs. That one was shot at 300mm. I've discovered that you can get some pretty cool perspectives of various things from that location. ;)

So on my first day in the park in January, I saw what I thought would be a good photo op. The horse drawn carriage pulled up and there was the Matterhorn and Castle in the background. I'm standing there, grabbing my camera out of the bag, and before you know it, all these people show up to grab their photo op.

I do try to keep track of it but it's basically a confusing little system I keep in my head and is based on my previous trip dates, time of year, etc.

As far as posting the EXIF, I'm happy to provide it to anyone who wants to know. But, since smugmug strips it from the jpegs resized from the originals, it's a few extra clicks to copy/paste I normally don't take. If I post a shot that is abnormal in the camera settings, I'll try to include the EXIF.
