Can someone explain FL residents rates?

Please? We are FL residents visiting GF in early December. When do these come out and how do I book them?

One great place to find discounts is on the websites of Florida newspapers. Disney often places ads on the papers' pages - click to follow, and you'll often find discount offers (although not so much for the deluxe resorts). If you've ordered the vaca planning dvd, and registered with Disney at disney.go.com, you'll stand a better chance of getting a postcard offer including a pin code offering a discount of some magnitude. We were afforded a 40%-off code last Feb, which we applied to a stay for this December at the GF. And you can always call, and ask if they're running any Florida discount offers. Try this link:

Make sure you look into the Seasonal Pass, its cheaper than the Annual Pass with blackout dates during the busy times of the year.

Also, to answer your question, I would go ahead and book it now, then when the discounted rates come out call and have them applied.
