Hi, so whats up this summer?

I just have to get over our garage sale Saturday and go out for our anniversary supper then summer time is here. We head over to Port Huron June 27-30 a long family holiday then Dh also has that week off. So I say hey a wife/mother needs a holiday too so I am. Off to the trailer for a couple of days, then a few times more during the summer. DD15 travels for baseball so that take up 2-3 trips a week.Oh no she will be 16 Aug.27, got to plan that too. Then the Paris Fair then back to school. Where has the summer gone.

Our plans are to do as many fun free or almost free things we can find. Hiking, parks, picnics, library programs, movie nights, swimming, e.t.c to save for our trip to Disney in September. We made a huge list of fun and cheap things for us to do over the summer that we plan to check off one by one.
If ll works out we will have a great, busy, summer and plenty of spending money for vacation.
The only big expenses are summer camp for dd for two weeks:)

Since we're getting married at Disney in September are plans are pretty limited this summer. We both have the first week of July off so we are planning a couple of day trips to the beach and doing some work around the house.

I am taking my DF on a surpise trip for her birthday to New York City (gotta love cheap flights from Buffalo!!!) in August for a couple of nights to see Neil Diamond in Madison Square Gardens. He's her favourite performer but has never seen him. She'll have no idea where we're going or why until the day of and when we get to NYC i'm not still not telling her about Neil! Thought it would also be a good chance to shop for our Disney trip and pick up some stuff not available here.

Other than that we have Def Leppard/Billy Idol concert early in August and a couple of big BBQ's and that's it until our big trip to our second home in the "World" and our first ever DCl cruise for our honeymoon.

We are going to be going camping at Selkirk for 3 weeks in Augest. I'm going to be taking the kids lots of times to the near by splash pad because our wonderful city decided that it was a good idea to implement a 1 adult to 2 kids rule. They also charge $5 to us the kiddie pool! We are going to be going to marineland as much as possible starting next week.Hopefully i can save money for my trip in November:)

Well, three with kids, plus one PD Day!

DD(14) is taking a get ahead Grade 10 course at summer school, so I will be driving into the city every day for four weeks. I'll try to get my fall plans under control during those weeks, so that she and I can spend a week in Disney, in....7½ weeks.... without thinking about school.

For the rest of summer, and the rest of the family, nothing exciting planned at all! Just relaxing, enjoying the fact that we have no scheduled TO DO list! :goofy:

25 more days and we are off to IRELAND!
A dream trip we have been planning for the last two years... One week in Cushendun (north coast), one week in Arklow (outside of Dublin - think Ballykissangel if you know the show), one week in Cork and one week in Galway. We can't wait!!!!!
It's a big family trip - My mum, dad and brother, me and my two boys will be there for the full month, my hubbie will be there for two weeks and my sister will be there for three weeks. I'm hoping I will adjust to driving on the wrong side of the road fairly quickly and we're sort of prepared for the pricey gas. I'm told it's over $2.25 per litre - ugh!

We fly down to Fort Lauderdale at the end of August to spend a couple of shopping/beach days. Then drive down to Miami for a short 5 night cruise but get off the ship a day early while it's in Nassau. Then check in to Harborside for a week and enjoy the sites of Atlantis and Nassau before flying home.

I am so all over the place this summer, cannot seem to plan anything!

We are tossing around California, San Francisco..LA and South or a trip to Paris with my DD's. In Sept we are off to Italy for 15 days..bit only 1 DD can join us as the youngest is back to University:( I would like her to have a good rest before heading back which keeps leading me to something Beachy?:confused3

I'm only working 3 days a week all summer so am looking forward to 'chilling' with my boys!
We have a student arriving from Spain to stay with us for the month of July and then I think there is another one for 3 weeks in August but am not 100% sure yet. We're driving to a cottage in Nova Scotia the last week of July.
We have a few camping weekends planned and I'm sure we'll go swimming as often as we can.
Going to take some of my days off to get to all the cleaning jobs I never seem to have time to do!

Um, well, we go to WDW in a three weeks for 10 days, so that is MAJOR. Can't wait, go the calandar all marked off for the countdown.

Swim, laugh, fun with the boys. Perhaps a few days camping here and there.

Then, of course, there is the day trips to TO Zoo, and TO Science Centre. So, we should have tons of fun this year.

Well lets see this summer, Owen Sound for a long wknd in a couple weeks, Pittsburgh to see Jimmy Buffet and then a week on the road after that with no particular plans. Port Elgin for a week in August, throw in the CNE and a couple day trips here and there. If lucky sometime in August, Vancouver to watch my son play football. Dont want to wish the summer away but WDW for 11 days in October.
