Mickey/Minnie Head design

I'm looking for someone that can do a shirt with Mickey and Minnie heads with names on them. I have seen one a friend has and she referred me to this site.

Welcome! Since you are new here, you may find what you are looking for in the "Disign Gallery" at the top of the page. Or, you can be more specific about what you want and someone will post a design (tell us what names you want put in the design). I'll be happy to do something for you if you let me know the names you want.

That mickey head design with "Mom" is very similar to what I was looking for. I was wanting four heads on the design, two plain black mickey and two minnie with the typical bow. Then on the face part have a name on each one in Disney font. And at the bottom have WDW 2008 with the cute mickey ears as the zeroes! I am amazed at this site having just discovered it recently. If I am asking way too much, please say so! I was thinking of just black heads, a black outline on the design, and red text.

Sorry it has taken me a couple days to respond...I babysat 2 of my nephews all weekend! It was fun, but I had no time for anything else. I LOVE the designs!! You are awesome! My favorite is the bottom one with the heads curved. Then if there's any way you can outline the design with a black line that would be great! Thank you SO much! So when you send it to me I will download it from your site and print it on t-shirt transfer paper, right? Thank you again, you are so sweet to do this for us!

I will add the outline, then you just copy/paste it onto your computer and print it onto transfer paper. There is a thread on here w/ specific instructions for printing. Glad you like it, and glad I could help!

Keep in mind that the background color within the box will either be clear or white depending whether you use Light Transfer Paper or Dark Transfer Paper. Just don't try to use the Light Paper on a colored shirt...it will not work!!

I LOVE this, it's adorable! I hate to ask but could you make me one? The two Mickey's on the sides of the writing: Larry, Maryann then the two on top Hallie, Baker. If it's a problem don't worry about it. :)

I am happy to help you, but I need a clarification about the names/design you want. Do you want one design with just the two kids' names, or do you want two different family designs that say Mom, Dad, Child?? Just let me know!

I was very excited to find your Minnie Mouse head designs tonight! I am taking my girls on their first WDW trip next month and would love to make them customized Minnie shirts for our Chef Mickey's breakfast! Could you please help me design a Minnie head for each girl LAUREN and TAYLOR similar to your photobucket design with MOM on it? I like the font you used for that one too (not the Walt Disney font)

As I have never made t's before, where is the best place to buy these iron on transfers?

Shoppgirl, I will be happy to do the designs for you! As far as where to get the transfers, there are lots of different opinions on this board as to which brand(s) to use...you may want to search some of the old threads for more info. The important thing to remember is that there are "Light Transfers" for white shirts and "Dark Transfers" for colored shirts. For Light Transfers, I bought a pack of Avery brand Ink Jet Transfers from Sam's Club. I ordered Dark Transfers from ebay...there is a recommended seller on this board somewhere (but others on here have had good luck with store bought brands).

Tips:
1. Wash the shirts and dry them WITHOUT fabric softener before ironing on the designs -- you cannot skip this step!
2. I always place a layer of Parchment paper over my transfers when ironing, even though it is not required for Light Transfers (this will prevent your iron from getting any ink on it when you iron the edges).
3. After ironing on the design, letting it cool, and peeling away the paper, I always spray 3 or more coats of Scotchguard over the design on the outside and inside of the shirt (this is supposed to help prevent cracking and fading of the design).

Have fun...this is addictive! I'll let you know when the designs are in my Photobucket account.

I have been looking all over for creative t-shirt designs and I love :love: the Mickey heads!! I see you have created designs for others...I would love to have one for our trip in October. I would need one for a family of 5; Allyson w/bow, Chip, Brandon, Sydney w/ bow and Nana w/bow. Chip and Allyson would be on top :thumbsup2 and also include WDW 2008.
