All I can say is that I wish that my DH would do some of the planning and get as excited as me, all he does is ask me what day we're on with our countdown. I've done everything, book flights, villa, park tickets, and he's done nothing. Feel like I'm the one overdoing the planning, on here everyday, checking in flight entertainment, thinking ahead for shopping. :furious:

Your wife should be pleased that you're so involved :thumbsup2

Holiday planning is my forte so I enjoy it - we get stuff booked, make decisions etc together but i overplan all park strategies, roads, dining etc myself since my brain is a sponge for that stuff :teeth:

Planning, thats part of the holiday isnt it? The way I figure it the earlier you start planning the longer your holiday. I would also agree 6 months is way to short a planning time :rotfl2:.

Enjoy your planning - its part of the magic

That's the time to start packing!:)

:rotfl: :rotfl: people dont really do that, do they?

I'm an organised person in most things but i have to admit packing is my downfall, i always seem to be doing it at silly o'clock the night b4 we go but i guess theres no point in trying to sleep when your to excited too anyway.

my dh keeps rolling his eyes at me everytime i tell him about the plans i have made for our upcoming trip. he also says i am obsessed with the dis boards, i have told him about the adrs situation and all he says is lets just wait until we get there. not a cat in hells chance made the adrs anyway. also told him about rope drop. i have got so much info from the people on this site and i thank all of them, the worst thing is even when we get out there he will still think he is right because he is never wrong in his opinon. but i will still look at him in that smug way and all he will say is what are you smirking at

My bf though I went overboard with planning last year but of course once we were there and saw people being turned away from restaurants without ADRs, the EMH crowds and had some great experiences that we wouldn't have been able to without advance planning he changed his mind. He's just left me to it for California, in his words he is 'along for the ride' :thumbsup2

My bf said this too, but i explained to him what i had read on the boards about ADRs- he then agreed it was a good idea. He has said to me the other day -can we start planning the days and when we'll go to which park :rotfl: i said its abit early for that- we need to book first :rotfl:i'm sure even when we do book he'll just leave if all to me to sort out- i alway seem to end up at the holiday planner!

Another DH nut. We're going in November and plans are well underway. My DW thinks the same.

Happy planning!
